I pride myself on knowing a good croissant as I've eaten many croissants in my lifetime and I say this firmly that this is the best croissant I have ever had. I will gladly be coming back here every time I'm in Paris and order multiple croissants, chocolate, croissants, and even their quiche.

We went on a food tour with a local guide who also wrote an article on the best croissant in Paris! And it is the best, it was slightly sweet and so buttery, I am going to be dreaming about this croissant!!! You must visit and give it a try!!! Apparent they also have award winning Madeline's but they didn't have any while we were there.

This is on the list of one of the best croissants in Paris. It was near our hotel so we went a couple of times. The croissants were good and very crispy and flaky and buttery soft inside. One of the better croissants that we had.

Cute little bakery with very well baked goods. Super flaky croissants that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The apple pastry was sublime and had real chunks of apple rather than just sauce. Highly recommend for delicious pastries.

Hands-down best bakery with the best croissant in all of Paris. Crispy outside and very soft inside. They just melt in your mouth. They have a few tables outside, so you can enjoy your croissant and coffee while looking at the park across the street. It's worth repeating. They are the best.

I heard they have the best croissant in Paris -- so we went to this unassuming place across from a charming little park. Yes! The best croissant rumor is true! We savored their buttery pastries slowly with pure delight( they also have a great chocolate brioche)

Had a few items here and loved them all! We came here the first day we were in Paris and decided to try different bakeries. Our last day, guess where we ended up? Back here. Easily our favorite bakery/location for croissants. -Croissant: Perfectly flakey and every bite was great. -Chocolate croissant: The chocolate mixed so well and wasn't overpowering. It was a delightful bite. It's dark chocolate, which my husband usually isn't a fan of, but he DEVOURED this thing. -Madelines: Great! Didn't really know what I expected and they're a bit on the pricey side (4 Euros for 4) but they were delicious -Baguette: Bought one for a trip to Versailles and it was delicious, might have been one of the best bites of bread I've ever had. Overall, this was our favorite bakery in Paris and one of the more moderately priced ones as well. It was an easy walk from our hotel (10 minutes or so) so it was a no brainer. The smell of freshly baked goods is divine in the morning. Come early! We also noticed lots of locals that came. Also, the lady working there spoke English, which was greatly appreciated.

This was the best croissant I've had in Paris...and really my entire life. It was stunning. Bite into it, and you'll unravel the thin layers of soft buttery dough on the inside and notice just how flaky it is on the outside. After leaving Blé Sucré, there's no way I'll be looking at croissants in the same way ever again

Second time we are trying this place and so wow what a difference it makes what time you get here. There is always a line, but it's even more early in the morning when they are baking fresh pastries. We were lucky enough to get our goodies fresh out of the oven. We even waited outside for a bit and they gave us a small sampler of chocolate chaud (which my husband loved and I was ok with... Check my Angelina review). The croissants and pan Au Chocolat were flaky and crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle. It was so buttery that the bag we asked for was soaked with oil by the time we got back to the hotel (tip: eat it there! We only took home extras). We got 2 other pastries.. A sugary one that was ok and the "financier" which is packaged and sealed so we can take it with us on the plane ride home. Overall, we were happy with this place. The ladies were nice and the food was delicious. Get there early is my tip. The best experience will be when it's fresh.

Short version: just read other reviews about the quality. I've found a lot of delicious croissants in Paris and am not sure that these ones deserve the intense fan love as the best on earth, but I can't say that I've had better either. They're buttery, light, and flaky, with just the right texture - beautiful when pulled apart, without exploding everywhere (like overbaked or stale croissants). The croissants are large! I'm confused about the people who went back for more. Part of the point of the ritual is to get them fresh daily, as they contain no preservatives and why not get them at their most amazing? Are these people eating them all at once, or storing them somehow? Also, I tried the Madeleines, which were available in a package of 4. They're lightly glazed, and thus taste more like fluffy almond-lemon cake donuts than other Madelines. I'm not a big donut fan but I LOVED these!

Can't beat a cool morning w/a French Latte & a delicious pain croissant.

I'm blown away how delicious the 1st bite was. Mmmmm. Awesome pain croissant. It's 24mins. away from my AIRBNA doesn't matter I'll come back for it again & again. Distance has no boundaries when it comes to quality taste..

The best croissant, pain au chocolat and almond croissant. Better than the high end croissants at Gallerie Lafayette.

It gets a cheaper rating but I thought the prices were very comparable to the other boulangeries in the neighborhood.Again they had great croissants (I tried them at every boulangerie we visited) and their large macaron "sandwiches" were also delicious (although not my MOST favorite of the ones we tried in Paris). This place was also just a few steps from our apartment so we visited it a lot as well. None of the women that served us during the week spoke English but again, you don't need much in a boulangerie. The service was always friendly and efficient. Often this place was busy but service was quick. No outdoor seating, and they were open until 8pm which was awesome. Later in the day you'll find that pastries and bread are not as fresh but even though we got macaron "sandwiches" at 7pm and they seemed a little damp from the fresh fruit in them, the taste was delicious. The outer shells of the macarons were slightly tough but the overall texture wasn't bad. the berries (we tried frambriose and fraise, or raspberry and strawberry) were incredibly fresh and tasty. I'm sure if we had purchased them earlier in the day they would have been even better. We also had the coffee eclairs and they were amazing!!! I don't care that much for eclairs as I do no like the type of bread used for them, but these were good enough that I'd get them again. The filling was rich and the coffee taste was outstanding.

You get real friendly with your table neighbors :) No matter, because I think the homey cafe vibe is what they're going for. It's run by a hardworking Japanese-Lebanese couple, and you can taste how fresh everything is. If she wasn't so busy, we would've chatted with her more! Small regret not trying their wine, but we had just landed in Paris that morning and the jet lag was hitting :P This was our first reintroduction into their more leisure dining culture, no phones and only conversation. If you come hangry, you might have a more difficult time with their longer wait times and smaller portions (please remember it's a cafe/bakery, not a full-on restaurant experience). But it was the reviews and feedback that cemented it as a "must do" for me. We managed to get a resy at this tiny (22 seats), lunch-only, Mon-Fri only, Mom and Pop shop. And it lived up to the accolades. Super-vibrant Moko Hirayama greeted and seated us. She's an ex-NYC lawyer and amateur baker turned professional baker, plus front of house wizard. Back in the miniscule open kitchen we saw her husband, Omar Koreitem, furiously finishing prep and start to cook at 12 noon sharp, all with just one other staffer. By the way, this Japanese - Lebanese couple just released a fabulous, beautiful cookbook (Mokonuts, Phaidon Press)... and it tells the story better than I can here.
