We grabbed some sweet treats for an afternoon treat and quiches to go for an early morning one day. It is a small establishment so expect a little line as you wait your turn to order. Yannick Martin served as the perfect spot for a quick spot for breakfast or treats to go. We enjoyed the Raspberry Tart, Pistachio Eclair, Lemon Tart and chèvre and tomato Quiche. I was looking for a café that was open early to grab a bite before a morning at the Louvre, and was happy to stumble upon this one. Not a lot of places in the area are open early, but this place is and its just one stop away from the museum (Pyramides, 7 train). As expected, they serve up a ton of baked goods, and a pan au chocolat that I think is one of the best in the city. In the morning there seems to be a limited selection of pastries since they're still constantly baking at the point. However, it's an easy in and out to grab some pastries and coffee before waiting in line. read more

Ah...my first time in Pah-ree! But I quickly found out why Parisians picnic so much...its because Parisian cafes and restaurants are so freaking expensive! 6 euro for an expresso? 8-10 euro for ham and cheese sandwich(aka Croque Monsier)? 15 euro for a burger and fries? (Not that I would order such while on vacation) Luckily this small, lovely, and delicious bakery was right by our apartment: 1 euro baguettes 4-5 euro sandwiches 1-5 euro pastries...yum! 2-3 euro quiches...ask for it "chaud si vous plait", which means "hot, please". We shopped here everyday and took it the nearby park. The food is better than just any Parisian cafe. read more

While on my mission to eat my way through every sweet treat the French have ever created, Yannick Martin Gustative Corner popped up on Yelp as highly rated and very near where I was just finishing my lunch. Ideal, I was in the mood for something sweet. All of their desserts looked temping, but I went with the Framboise Supreme, which is a giant macaron filled with buttery sweet cream and perfect delicate raspberries, and topped with a couple of extra raspberries for good measure. Holy cow this thing was perfection, not only to look at, but each bite was total bliss. One of the best bakeries I experienced in Europe. Bread was amazing and they have vegetarian sandwich options, which believe it or not, not always the case in every bakery in Paris. Many bakeries make all their sandwiches in the morning, but this one will make you a special One also if you ask. It is a perfect lunch to grab a sandwich and some drinks and walk over to the park and eat. Will be going here again next time I am in Paris. Also if you are being touristy and taking a tour thru ParisCityVision (one of the biggest tour guides), this places is just a block over and you can grab breakfast or lunch before your tour. I have been going to Paris every few years for the last 17 years. We stay very near this patisserie, which has branded itself as Yannick Martin sometime in the last few years. When we go to Paris I go in a LOT of patisseries. I love pastries and pastry shops. I have never been to a single one that I liked even close to as much as this one - anywhere in France! For me, it is a reason to go to Paris! We frequently go there and buy breakfast and pickup lunch to go! Breakfast pastries (chausson au pommes, pan au chocolat etc) and baguettes filled with egg are great. All the pastries are great and beautiful. It's hard to go wrong. Some are simply sublime. I also love the lunches. The pizzettes are terrific. All of them. The quiches are amazing as well. My family fights over them! The lunch baguettes are great as well. There is usually a line out the door, comprised mostly of locals, which is a pretty good clue you've found the right spot! I'm always deeply disappointed when I come back to the states and try some of the pastries we try and pass off here - even from French bakeries. They just can't hold up to this place. Go! We've been to quite many bakeries in Paris and this one is by far the best! Unfortunately we discovered this amazing place couple of days before our departure and couldn't enjoy it to the full extend:( Everything that we tried was extremely fresh and delicious. It's been a challenge to find great plain croissant but they have definitely perfected their recipe. It's buttery taste, the inside is very soft but the outside is crispy, just perfect! Their almond croissant in comparison with other bakeries was outstanding! We also tried cocoa eclair and it was exceptional! Not too sweet at all and extremely fresh! And the first place goes to their quiche. We tried tuna and tomato and they were absolutely amazing! They were probably the best that I've tried in my life! Crust was thin and crispy, filling was fluffy and light. Again very fresh! This will be our place to go to from now on whenever we will be visiting Paris in the future and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone else. read more

I walked the 20 min from my hotel to the location of this establishment in a super trendy and fashionable part of town near Place Vendôme. I tried every croissant within a mile of my Airbnb. It took me a few days because the bakery was closed on Sunday and then the following Monday was a holiday. There didn't seem to be much of a selection when I went there maybe because they've been closed for two days but they had croissants. I ordered regular and chocolate. They were not the best in the area. In fact they were last out of the handful we tried. Please keep in mind we did not try any at tourist bakeries or anywhere with that was not exclusively a bakery. Now with that in mind, the croissants here are better than anything else you will typically find in a bakery. They were still amazing. This tiny bakery has new digs-- an updated modern interior and slightly different layout. It also now has a prominently displayed name. I think this is one of the best spots for a take-away lunch when shopping on St. Honoré. The mini-quiches will melt in your mouth, the pizza-bread contains a surprising layer of savory/sweet custard, and there are plenty of sandwich options. The mini-baguettes come studded with baked-in ham and cheese, or with roquefort. The baguette bread itself is not the best I've had but the bonus ingredients make them good to eat. My favorite thing here is the mariage- a bevy of coffee and chocolat creme, married together and ensconced in a single pastry shell. I also tried one of the mini-sugared donuts yesterday and the explosion of chocolat creme in your mouth is pure divine. A couple desserts and savories for lunch for two will be less than 12 Euro. There is no seating and it can be crowded due to the line... so, there is a church next door with plenty of steps that allows for an instant picnic in nice weather. If it's cold outside, you'll need to eat while your walking or grab a coffee at the nearby Starbucks and eat at one of its many tables. read more

A nice little bakery which always had a line out the door during lunch, a sure sign of a great boulangerie in Paris. Just about at the corner of Rue St Honore and Rue Saint Roch . We enjoyed picking up hand held quiche lorraine and pasties daily. My husband always seemed to manage to get them warmed up without asking, mind you I had no luck and had a few cold ones...no matter, they were all extremely delicious. The eclairs and viennoise were great to snack on and their baguettes were perfect. If you're picking up a quick lunch to walk to the Tuileries they also offer a few cold drinks...water and juice to name a few.
