    Window display of beautiful pastries

The pasteries are so beautiful with so much vibrant colors. Not only did the pastries look aesthetically pleasing but also tasted good too! The pastries look like art , there's no other way to describe it. So this is truly what a macaroon is supposed to taste like, oh my! It literally melts in your mouth ! If you like pistachios, I highly recommend pistachios flavored pastries . It didn't sound pleasant to me at first but, I recommend it! (Pistachios flavored croissant , pistachio macaroon , etc ) I have to say that Paris has one of the best seafoods I have ever tasted . It is so fresh. I got a breakfast baguette with salmon (think of a lox bagel but on a baguette ) and the salmon tasted so good . I wish I was able to finish the baguette but I was too full from trying the different pastries.

As we were walking around Paris, we happened to pass La Petite Marquise and saw their amazing looking pastries in the window. We stopped in and got a pastry that looked like a giant macaron. It really did taste like a giant macaron! A cute little spot to stop by when in Paris. I wish I could of tried everything!

Delicious! Super clean, small seating area. Loved the hotdog bread! Perfect quick in and out for breakfast.

A spacious boulangerie that has indoor seating! We walked into this boulangerie for a light breakfast and I was pretty happy with everything that we got! The service was good and there is ample seating in the back if you want to enjoy your pastries or coffee there. The croissants here were great. Flaky, soft, crispy...it's what every croissant should be. We also got a couple other pastries and I was happy with the palmier. La Petite Marquise knows how to serve up some good pastries! If you're looking for a good boulangerie for some pastries, look no further than La Petite Marquise!

Okay, the whole family loved the chocolate croissants. Like really. I got up early, walked 15 minutes or so to pick them up and grabbed a baguette as well. Took them back to our apartment. First bite... so soft, warm and flaky. The chocolate was dark and melty. Somehow it was also buttery. I will be making this my morning stop while we are in Paris.

Delicious pastries and a cute little patisserie in walking distance to my hotel. I had the chocolate croissant of course, very good! My only complaint was the rude blonde girl behind the counter, she was obviously annoyed that I was American and took my card out too fast so she had to enter the transaction again. She went on complaining a out something in French, very unpleasant!

Excellent French bakery at Place Victor Hugo. We were staying at the Renaissance Hotel Le Parc Trocadero down the street, and we ended up eating breakfast here 3 days in a row. The staff here can mostly speak English, so that was helpful for us. Although all of their baked goods were delicious, their beignets were the highlight. Freshly made donut balls with apple, strawberry, raspberry, or chocolate stuffings... soooooo good. Their coffee were pretty good too. I get the feeling my wife will make us re-visit this bakery on our next trip to Paris, even if we're staying at a different hotel!

Variety of options! From savory quiches to delectable tartes and eclairs.

Love this boulangerie!! Variety of sandwiches, pastries, baguettes and drinks. It's relatively close to the Arc de Triomphe and Place du Trocadéro, which are just a short walk away. There is lovely window seating and lots of room inside. There wasn't a long wait and the staff was very efficient. We ordered a quiche Lorraine (ask to heat it up!), a fresh baguette, several croissants (croissant buerre, croissant des amandes), brioche au sucre, brioche suisse aux pépites de chocolate and trosades! Everything was warm and fresh, a great delight on a cloudy morning. You can never go wrong with the croissants (in all its buttery glory and flakiness, so delicious!) and you must try the croissant des amandes! Just amazing. And the quiche, hot from reheating, was fantastic, creamy and flavorful!

Coffee and Croissants... The perfect pair in Paris.

I practiced my French for 2 hours to place an order here. What a great experience... Granted, I barely know any French, but regardless of language the coffee and croissants here were incredible. Happy I chose this place in the morning.

This boulangerie was recommended to us by our hotel, I have been to Paris so many times and have tried a lot of different boulangeries and I can for sure say this one is my #1 favorite now. It's pretty spacious and they have lots of selections, from flakey croissants to fresh pastries, sandwiches, light breakfast, savory quiches, tarts, baguette, large and small cakes, chocolates... and literally everything they have is so mouthwatering, I tried lots of different things and can't even tell you which one beat the other. Their sandwiches are to die for... Indoor seating, but limited and it can get busy sometimes. Welcoming staff, some of them speak English, so made it easy for me to order :) If I could give this place a 10-star I would...next time I'm in Paris, you'll find me here again...

Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Okay okay...I know Pierre Hermé is a super touristy macaron shop, and the Pierre Hermé on Champs…read moreElysée is probably the MOST touristy you can get, but I can't help but give this place five stars. Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.
