Buttery and yummy

Died and went to French bakery heaven! What a find- outstanding Boulangerie just steps away from the Eiffel Tower. We just happened to walk down the right street, on the way to the meeting point for a guided group tour. Maybe guided by the delicious aroma of buttery croissants flowing out their door?! God must have been our guide to have us discover this place. Yes, I'm a believer. Since we were there early, around 8:30 am there was no line. We bought plenty of croissants, an apricot dessert, juice, and salmon sandwiches for lunch to go. We wish we could have gone back to this fabulous bakery during our trip, but it was too far from our hotel. I'll always remember this spectacular Boulangerie and eating their croissants sitting on a bench with a view of the Eiffel Tower in the background.

We sped by this gorgeous boulangerie on our way to Rue Cler for dinner. Once we saw the incredible raspberry tarts we made note of where to go back to for dessert!! We ended up getting a raspberry tarte and fig tartlet. Both were way over our expectations. I made a map pin so that we know exactly where to go for amazing pastries.

This place was close to my hotel in rue de amelie. I would walk by every morning on my way to see the eiffel and every time I stopped by. Everything about it was fantastic! The bread on the sandwhich, the pastries....everything!!!!! Anything you will try you will love! The ladies were nice and spoke to us in English when our very limited French and finger pointing just couldn't get across! The locals seem to like it as well as a line was constantly forming!

Cream puff and citrus raspberry pastry. Best we've ever had! Going back in the morning for seconds.

First time in Paris and staying in a hotel by Eiffel tower. Found this bakery. Bacon quiche was fantastic. Croissants were soft and flaky.

Great patisserie not too far from the Eiffel Tower. I only tied the pain chocolate but they were quite good.

The store is gorgeous and will immediately catch your eye, I knew I had to come see what was going on in here. I crossed over and walked in to find the most delightful le merveilleux. I ordered 3 minis which I trekked all over town for the day and later enjoyed for in the evening. They were delish! My advice would be don't trek all over town with them, enjoy them or store them to enjoy later. They were great but they are fairly delicate. These treats are super light and the perfect little treats. The mini size is perfect to enjoy several flavors. I'm a Los Angeles native and while many may say they haven't seen or heard of these le merveilleux before, we have a little French bakery at home called Le Mervetty that I've ordered cakes from and they make these. They are truly special, I've always felt that. If you're looking for a lovely treat, definitely stop in. Service was quick and friendly!

I got the sampler of 6 merengues in a cute box but I only got to try 3 as I shared the rest with our house host. My fave was the Magnifique - meringue coated in pralines. So light and airy as with the rest. The Merveilleux - chocolate was a bit too sweet for my taste what with the layers n layers of chocolate. I am not a fan of white chocolate so I did not like the Incroyable - white chocolate with speculoos. The shop have different branches in Paris as well as the train stations but we went to the one by the Moulin Rouge. It is right smack in the center of the street you wouldn't miss it with its very opulent chandelier hanging by the window. They make and bake their pastries on site as with each and every patisserie in Paris it seems. So everything is freshly baked!

A Slice of Heaven at Notre Pâtisserie, Paris!…read more My visit to Notre Pâtisserie was nothing short of magical-this charming Parisian gem exceeded all my expectations with its flawless pastries and warm, inviting ambiance. The Tarte au citron meringuée was an absolute revelation: the crisp, buttery crust cradled a velvety lemon filling that struck the perfect balance between tangy and sweet, finished with a delicate torched meringue topping. Pure sunshine on a plate! Their legendary Opera Cake is a masterclass in precision-layers of almond sponge, coffee buttercream, and dark chocolate ganache harmonize into an elegant, rich symphony of flavors. Each bite was sheer perfection. I fell in love with their Orange Brioche Buns, too-pillowy soft dough swirled with fragrant orange zest and a hint of caramelized sweetness. Paired with coffee, it was morning bliss. And of course, their Croissant? The gold standard. Shatteringly crisp exterior giving way to airy, honeycombed layers with that unmistakable French butter aroma. Worth waking up early for! With impeccable craftsmanship in every creation and service that makes you feel like family, Notre Pâtisserie is a non-negotiable stop for any pastry lover in Paris. Merveilleux!
