One of the best burgers i have had in a long time. You can order at kiosk or walk up, they will bring out your food after you order. The location is small fits about 20 guest at a time.

Food was good as always. You do have the option to order at the kiosk instead of if that front so that's cool as well. I'm trying to at least at the top 8 burgers there, so this time I tried the le'steakhouse burger with a side of fries. It was delish!! My ONLY critique is I love Coca Cola products, they service Pepsi now and have been for a while. I just can't get over it lol. So I get either water or milkshake.

Epik never disappoints. Mom is undiagnosed celiac, so sometimes eating out is a little difficult for her. She had her choice for Mother's Day lunch, and this is where she picked. :) Epik goes out of their way to ensure that so much of their menu is safe for her to eat, including the french fries AND onion rings. On top of that, both of us have a dairy allergy. Epik has multiple choices of vegan cheeses and milkshakes. I'm not proud of it when I say it, but I generally leave there with the best kind of bellyache. It's great! I will say their floor is a little slick and could use a little TLC but other than that the restaurant staff do a great job. Very accommodating and thoughtful in making sure they keep up with their customers.

I finally made it out to Epik after seeing their extensive selection of veggie burgers. I ended up ordering the divine burger which had a brioche bun, Brie cheese, caramelized onion and of course a veggie Pattie. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries with the signature sauce. Everything was delicious and the burger was huge! The service was quick and the food came out quick as well. Next time I go I'm definitely ordering a shake!

We dined in for lunch. The restaurant had self service kiosks for ordering. We got a divine veggie burger with a pretzel bun and added mushrooms, a boss burger and fries. We waited a bit for the food but the restaurant was busy and we understand these masterpieces take time. The veggie burger is one of the best I've had in Jacksonville, the sauce was cheesy and the onions were beautifully caramelized. The boss burger was huge! The bacon was crispy and the sauce was plentiful. The fries were also well seasoned. We have dined here many times and have never been disappointed.

This past weekend, we were searching for a place with quality burgers that did lettuce wraps in lieu of rolls, and we decided to give Epik a try. Great casual fun vibe inside with exceptional food. You order at a kiosk along the wall and you are called once your food is ready. I was pleasantly surprised at the options. There is something for everyone. Great burgers, ingenious creations, create your own, salmon burgers, chicken burgers, vegan options, great looking milkshakes and sides as well. I was only hoping everything was going to taste as good as it looked on the pictures. My burger was one of the best I've had. An ingenious use of apple and the perfect bread as well. Juicy, cooked perfectly. The fries were seasoned perfectly and it was just a premier burger experience. Amazing, totally worth the drive. I was jealous as I looked around and there's so much more I want to try. Epik earns its name and we'll be back, often. I highly recommend you give Epik a try. There's something for everyone and it all hits. Kudos all around.

I was craving a "burger" on my lunch break and really needed a veggie option. I ended up at Epik burger and I am so glad that I did. The environment is very clean and a great place for dining in. I liked the option to order via a kiosk and the fact that they had monthly burger suggestions. The service was efficient, although I wish I would've order about 15 mins in advance. I was in a rush and hungry at the same time. My friend opted for the cordon bleu and she advised it was very good and fresh. I loved their lemonade although I was unable to finish it. The sweet potatoe fries were freshly fried and I loved the blend of the caramelized onions on my Divine Veggie Burger. Overall it was a great experience and I would return.

Never knew this place until we made a turn at the end of Girvin and Atlantic and is a bit hidden from the highway. Got the Epik Burger Bricoche Bun, 1/2 Beef Patty with Cheddar Cheese and It was really delicious and juicy. The fries complemented it as well with the sauce. The self-serve ordering screen may take some time as you scroll down the add-ons but the staff is there to assist whenever there are issues and they are friendly. There is plenty of parking and it seemed that the customers really enjoyed their meal as I did at this new burger joint discovery. Definitely recommending Epik Burger and will try the other flavors next time!

This place has really good burgers! And there are so many to choose from - there's one for everyone! It is a bit small of a place so it would not be good for large parties when busy. However the food is worth the wait! The interior is modern edgy but a cool vibe. We will definitely be back! 8/10.

It was a difficult day of garage cleaning and reorganizing! When my friends and I completed the work, it was time to decide where to eat. Epik Burger came to mind and it was a good thing because I've been wanting to try it for a long time. It was slow the day I visited as we were the only customers at the time - others filtered in for takeout during the visit. All the seating here is similar - wooden seats and tables in a rather small eating area. From what I saw, most came in for pickup and preorders. I try to eat less red meat these days so I chose the BBQ Chicken Burger. I was attracted when I saw it that came with a large onion ring and coleslaw on it! The BBQ sauce was more of a tangy variety but worked very well with the burger. My friend had the Guac Vegan Burger, which was filled with a lot of guac, as you'd expect, lettuce, tomato and onion. These burgers are large and a good step above fast food burgers, which I enjoy! My fries were fresh out of the fryer and without salt as requested! And I received a good quantity of them. I couldn't find much to take off any stars here. The staff was courteous, very respectful with requests - it all added up to a pleasant eating experience after a hard day's work! My readers may need a place like this after arduous labor too someday! Don't hesitate to visit Epik if you do! RECOMMEND: HIGH

I can't even believe I haven't rated this place yet. They have some very good and unique burgers here. You can customize tremendously here. Various toppings, burger sizes, buns, and even alternative meat and vegan options. If you haven't tried before, you must. Great food and service. read more

So after my second time Im definitely made this my go to burger joint. Jane was very sweet and made me as a customer want to keep coming back. Service and employees like that are hard to come by and even giving good recommendations made my experience even better and welcoming. Large variety of menu items and made to order as well so come hungry and people your coming to a burger joint so have a burger! read more

Burgers:amazing i want to try them all. Depending on your hunger you can adjust the size. Fries: i got the buffalo loaded fries and i was skeptical but was everything i wanted. Side:fountain coke. However they have a plethora of choices and their menu paid what drink you should have with your burger*love that Sauce: you can select a special sauce for your fries. ..thank you because i am over basic ketchup Ambience: pleasant little spot. Have 3 tvs with 1 being pictures of food from the menu. Do you know what you are getting yourself into. Staff: very pleasant and attentive. Great customer service. They also help each other out and were really team oriented. I don't see that much in workplaces such as a burger spot. Go check them out! read more

A hidden burger gem in Jacksonville's Arlington area. I knew Epik Burger was good when I finished the burger and realized I didn't have to add any condiments in order to enhance it. E.B. is a small location but it packs a punch! It's a clean restaurant with a nice, friendly staff. The burgers are fresh with great, sometime unusual ingredients and toppings. You can get beef or bison for just a few $ more. The Epikurean and Korean BBQ are personal favorites. Epik also has chicken and tuna burgers and are gluten sensitive to customers needs. They also feature rotating specialty burgers and milkshakes that change over time. The fries by themselves leave something to be desired, so order the Buffalo Bacon Cheese Fries. They are really good and you'll need a fork to finish them but they are really good and messy - in a good way! They also have a selection of beer, ale and wine that can be paired with your order. You can't leave without getting one of their deliciously awesome milkshakes. In my opinion, SOME OF THE BEST IN TOWN. The Cinnamon Dolce is really good, but if you like it simpler the vanilla is great too, and always get whip cream. If you love burgers and want to expand your horizons a bit Epik Burger should be tops on your list. Definitely worth a visit...or several visits. read more

Very impressed with their food. My burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. Fries were really crunchy. They such a diverse menu that anyone can find something to eat. Their shakes look incredible but I didn't try one, I was just keeping it simple today. This place seems pretty popular. It's a little small inside but still an enjoyable place to have lunch. The owners seem to care a lot about their restaurant and their customers. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. read more

I come here every day for you guys to miss treat me like this today not fair at all I old him a salmon barbecue burger with no coleslaw I told her no coleslaw when I went to eat my food there was coleslaw so I bought it back I had to pay for a whole new burger and wait for another hour I went outside for an hour still no order this is crazy I come here every day I thought I was cooler than this I'm just disappointed not fair at all read more

I GIVE UP! Been ordering here for a year and keep asking myself why!!!! The burgers aren't bad! But they CANNOT get an order right. Always forget the toppings I pay for or leave something out! ALWAYS! Just ordered a chicken burger. Told by the staff that this was a piece of chicken breast. It was not. It was ground chicken! Oh and the website..... don't even attempt to order using this thing. It's God Awful! Their fires are good! Their shakes delicious ! Can't take the aggravation anymore though! Juicy burgers and lots of varieties. First time had a salmon burger. Only recommendation is if you get baguette bun on your burger, you should know that the bun is long and not round so your burger will hang on the left and right. Love the cozy place!!! read more

Usually a decent burger joint, but definitely wouldn't be my must have list for burgers, as of late. My last trip there wasn't the best experience. I ordered a medium rare bison breakfast burger, but it came out well done with the bottom of the tray and buns drenched and soggy. Along with my poutine fries coming out late and cold, I was left unimpressed and unfulfilled. The place was not busy either, so it surprised me a little about the quality. Usually, their food and service is on point. I'll have to give them another go soon to make up for this misfire. read more

I really like this place. Second time here a couple of weeks ago. First time here I had the peanut butter burger and regular fries. Outstanding!!!! I love, love peanut butter, but I never thought about putting it on a burger. Second time I had the Red Dragon burger and regular fries. Solid!!! Both visits the burgers and all the fixings were extremely fresh. Fries were HOT and full of flavor. Drinks were just fountain style. Order at the counter and they will bring you your food....pretty quick too considering it was crowded on both visits. Only knock on this place is that it is SO small with limited seating. Both times there we had to squeeze into the communal table. No issue there. It was fun and we will definitely be back. read more

Service was excellent and the food choices seemed unlimited. I was more than surprised by the quality of the food I received. A bit pricey but I believe it was well worth it ! I ordered the mushroom and Swiss 1/2 lb burger and added truffle oil (which is heaven sent) and I also ordered the Parmesan fries (which was very unique but good). YUM!! Menu is vast and filled with delicious burger options. Counter serve only, which works for me! Faster to get your food I'd say lol. Serving sizes will fill you up and with such a wide selection of burger-goodness you'll want to come back again. They also have a kid's menu and delicious milkshakes. Located in a small strip mall (I think they still call them that!) plenty of parking and accessed at a street light for easy in and out. Staff was friendly and service was quick. read more

Hands down best burger in the area. I opted for a chicken burger that was banh mi like. It was fantastic. I have never for a bad thing there. I appreciate all the varieties of burger they have, they even have fish and veggie burgers for those with dietary restrictions. Oh and don't forget the fries and sauces. Their signature sauce is fantastic, and their ranch is extra good. You will thank me later. Only thing I haven't tried their is the milkshakes which are supposed to be amazing...there is always next time! read more

Chelsea and I stopped here for our weekly cheat meal. Oh and it was a cheat food of EPIK proportions. I can't believe i waited so many years to jump into this burger joint! Fresh ingredients, fresh bread, and excellent choices for all taste buds. Suggestions- The onion rings were fun for being so big and all but, they have so much fried breading you really couldn't taste the onion part. I would skip these next time and try some of the crafty fry dishes they have like the Truffle Parmesan fries which looked (EpiKally delicious). Moose out read more

I haven't been here before and I'm waiting for my food as I type this. I've heard good things so I decided to check it out. I had the option to wait in my car for them to bring the food out. My order went in at 7:21 and it's now after 8pm. I was quoted a 10-15 min wait. This better be worth it. I'll update and let y'all know. As of right now I'm at 48 min and counting waiting on my food. 53 min later I have my order. The burger was great. Truffle parm fries were good. Strawberry milkshake was good. I'm going to bump it up a star because the food was good. I just won't go back because it wasn't good enough for me to go there and wait for close to a hour when it was not crowded and I was told 10-15 min. There are places that have good food without a 53 min wait. From walking in to the door to order to leaving with takeout- a little more than an hour is too long for me. read more

Awesome gourmet burgers! Plus, they are super conscious about gluten-free options. About other fancy burgers, my husband has often remarked that the first two bites are great then you slog through the rest. Not here. These are well- balanced, cooked to perfection, and enjoyable to the last bite. Epik is our new favorite burger joint in Jax. p.s.- Don't forget to get dessert. Every time I am in Jax I stop in for the vegan BBQ burger. It's delicious. Has a sweet vinegar BBQ sauce and comes with a crunchy onion ring a top a black bean burger. Perfect combo for a burger and fries. read more

Just tried this place today & I'm so thankful I did! Thank the menu has tons of vegan options, my friend tried the BBQ vegan burger with vegan cheese fries & I a regular vegan burger with vegan cheese & sweet potato fries. Everything was great but the vegan burgers are black bean & not impossible/beyond. This was no problem to us as we like black bean burgers :) Also tried the vegan strawberry shake & it was heavenly! read more

I stopped in today for the first time and I am very impressed! I ordered just a regular cheeseburger but they have a long list of a variety of burgers to choose from! My burger was cooked to perfection and super juicy. I also got sweet potato fries that were perfection! Cool atmosphere and love the music in this place. There are lots of great places to get a burger in Jacksonville, but when I'm craving something really fun and different I had to Epikburger. They have the most creative burger menu in town. And all of them are good! This weekend I got the Epikurean burger to go. Amazing! All of the flavors meld together do beautifully. If burgers aren't your thing, you can get most of the combinations on a chicken breast, salmon patty, or veggie burger. I also highly recommend their buffalo bacon cheese fries. You can't go wrong with that combination! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Korey K.

I started in the restaurant business at the age of 15, and have worked in it ever since. In 1999 I graduated from New England Culinary Institute with a Degree in Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Management. After completing internships at Ameila Island Plantation and finally in Martha's Vineyard I relocated to Las Vegas where I work many different position in restaurants for Caesar's Entertainment. After seven years in Las Vegas I moved to Jacksonville, FL and took a job in college foodservice. Lovice, my wife, and I opened Epik Burger in 2013 and we hope to have many successful years in the restaurant business as owners and operators. It is my passion to service unique and tasty versions of approached food (such as burgers).

We ordered the Burrito Mexicano, Pink Protein Pancakes (with eggs), Morning Energizer (I believe that's what it was called), & a matcha latte. The pancakes were made using beet flour which you can definitely taste. I actually enjoy the taste of beets but if you don't, maybe don't order those. The eggs weren't our favorite thing in the world, but they were warm & got the job done. The order also came with a variety of fresh fruit. I appreciated that I didn't come to any piece of fruit that was overly ripe. I really liked the burrito but next time I think I would add some kind of breakfast meat to it. Accompanying me for the meal was my 15 month old daughter. When we arrived, I didn't see any high chairs. I was a little concerned about how the meal was going to go without one... but after we ordered and sat down the hostess grabbed a highchair for us (which was clean). My favorite things we ordered were the two drinks. My daughter and I actually both drink those together and surprisingly her favorite was the morning energizer (which had the beet juice). We sat indoors, but there is somewhat of an outdoor patio if the weather was nice and you wanted to sit outdoor. Indoor seating had a variety of options from comfy chairs (that gave coffee shop vibes), to regular dining chairs. I also appreciated that though there was some music playing in their speakers -- It wasn't too loud. Something that really impressed me was: the second we finished a plate and pushed it aside (so my 15 month old wouldn't play with it) the hostess immediately took it away from us. There was no wait. The complementary water that is brought to the table tasted clean and without chlorine. All of the food was fresh tasting, and we enjoyed the interactions we had with all of the staff we spoke to. The women's restroom was one of the cleanest I have been in and it had a luxury vibe to it.

I live in eternal conflict between my love for a simple, great burger and a desire to expand my taste horizons...my visit to Epik Burger didn't exactly settle that debate for me. Their menu is filled with just about everything EXCEPT a simple burger. They decorate their offerings with exotic cheeses including brie and feta, and toppings from pancetta to jam...even peanut butter! You can even get your burger with chicken, bison, salmon, or veggie. It's a lot to take in at first glance, especially if you're looking in vain for that patty with American cheese, ketchup and mayo (doesn't exist). You CAN customize a burger with an amazing variety of cheeses, but not American. Am I being too purist? I opted for the Breakfast Burger...other places have items similar to this, but I have to say...none better. I like that they cooked my egg to order (I like it firm...a messy burger is an awesome experience, but yolk running everywhere is a little TOO messy for me). It had applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, and even some fries right on the burger. It was mouthwatering! I got a side of cheese sauce for my fries (yes, fries on the burger, fries on the plate), and it was genius...warm, creamy, almost like a bechamel sauce. I shared some with the missus, but it was hard to part with any! I paired it with one of the hand-spun milkshakes, and oped for the Ghiradelli chocolate...superb! It was a lot of food, but dang it, I powered through like the culinary warrior I am. This place definitely has a niche going for it...I know many people who say it's the best burger in town, and though I wouldn't quite agree, I'd definitely say top three. If any burger place could put Jacksonville on the map, though, my vote would be Epik Burger. Next time I feel adventurous, I'll definitely pop in again and try something new...I'm sure I'll be happy. If I'm feeling extra bold, I may ask for a glass of that cheese sauce with a straw. read more

Epik Burger in Jacksonville, FL left me with mixed feelings after three separate occasions. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. I ordered from them through Uber Eats on each occasion and sampled a variety of their offerings. The Mushroom & Swiss Veggie Burger, Vegan BBQ Burger, and Vegan Philly Burger didn't quite hit the mark for me. I found them to be underwhelming in terms of flavor and texture. The fries, both the four cheese and regular cheese varieties, were decent but not exceptional. They provided a satisfactory side to the meal. However, the one shining star in my experience was their milkshakes. The chocolate covered strawberry shake, in particular, stood out and was a highlight of my meals. While my overall experience at Epik Burger was not quite what I had hoped for, I do appreciate that taste preferences can vary widely. It might be worth trying for those who have different taste preferences or a strong craving for milkshakes. read more

Modern diner interior. Tablet registers with Apple Pay. Metal chairs and brushed metal tables. Christian pop rock tunes rockin'. Photos on the wall make it known they care about more than just the taste of their food. Quality matters. They offer a wide variety of traditional burgers and not-so-traditional burgers. Beer and shakes plus an array of sides make the selection pretty dang awesome. Menus on the wall make it easy to understand how to order and what to expect. We both got the vegan bbq burgers (Lindsey's on a gluten free bun); which includes vegan Teese, bbq slaw, and an onion ring. Lindsey got a side of truffle fries (sans parmesan) and Adam got the sweet potato fries. Top notch. They also had a vegan guac burger, and several vegan sides. Epik Burger never disappoints! This is an awesome family owned burger joint who treat every customer like it's their best friend! The burgers have more flavor than any place in town and their shakes are incredible. Make sure to try some of the specialty french fries they offer, I was surprised at how good some of the combinations are. The staff was incredibly nice and came by several times to check on us and refill our drinks. We came to this restaurant for lunch before. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was very successful. The staff members were so friendly and we felt good. The meal was great especially their burgers. We dropped there as we feel that we are hungry. The food makes us so full. The Epikurean was so delicious and very flavorful.
