Didn't try. Admittedly arrived later, about 18 before close unknowingly. On arrival (two), they let us know that right away. We asked if takeout was still possible, were told maybe as one grill was still open, but then they never looked back up. Not friendly at all, so we left. It's fine if closing up early, I worked in the food service, but maybe close your front. *was not a language barrier with the individual and am offended with this being made as an assumption against as I would never claim that as bad service. read more

I don't give 5 star reviews often, but when I do it's because I am contemplating whether I'm in love lol. This place is amazing!! I went to the PVB location awhile back and was blown away with the story of how McFlamingo came to be. You can literally taste the freshness in every single bite. While chicken and broccoli might sound basic, it is ANYTHING BUT basic. The chicken is fresh, the vegetables are from local farmers and the seasonings are chef's kiss. Theres a topping on the chicken and broccoli that gives it a flavorful subtle spice & there's a homemade garlic sauce they make that I swear they should bottle up and sell. The staff is extremely friendly and inviting. No matter how many questions you ask, they're helpful beyond measure. The location gives a homely farm fresh feel. It feels like you're in a farm to table cafe. I also got a fruit bowl this time around. The fruit was fresh and this bowl was huge! It literally could have been a whole meal. I added some raw honey and almost devoured the whole bowl. This will definitely be a new household staple read more

I eat here once a week on average. The food is of the highest quality and the menu is creative with delicious unexpected combinations that are out of this world. I've never had anything I didn't think was well worth the price. Usually I get two meals out of every dish. Favorites are Curried Cauliflower, DIY Tacos and Fish N Pickles sandwich. I had the Gorgonzola Portobello Half Quinoa & Half Lettuce Salad, and it was absolutely on point! My only issue was with the salad dressing. Each salad comes with one portion of dressing, but when I asked for an additional portion to take home for the second half of my meal, I was informed it would cost $1. I understand the staff's explanation that the dressing is homemade, but considering my salad was already $18.21, charging extra for a small amount of dressing felt excessive. The loyalty program seemed a good incentive for repeat returns until the owner mocked my effort to ensure it was working. Ordered the salmon salad. It came with one very small dressing. My wife didn't like the dressing and asked for something else and they wanted to charge us $.80 extra. They were very rude about it then when she finally got to try her dish. Her salmon was undercooked. The cook a.k.a. general manager claimed that it was cooked to temperature and that's how it should be cooked, but it was rare and slimy on the inside. We disagreed. so we chose to throw the food in the trash and leave to never come back again. Horrible customer service. they never even asked if we wanted our rare salmon cooked. Please don't let the fact that they serve healthy food scare you away! They have the most delicious and messy chicken sandwiches I've ever had! Messy because the chicken is moist just like you want it! I did a double check on the bun the first time I had it, I was certain it could not be gluten free! Best I've ever had! I never leave reviews but feel compelled to do so for McFlamingo. To keep it short, food was healthy and extremely flavorful with many options to choose from (especially for those who prefer more of a pescatarian diet like me). Portions were HUGE, and service was great! I can't wait to come back, but first, I'm going to enjoy my leftovers for the next few meals. I swear my to-go box weighs 2+ lbs.
