If you have never been here it's a casual spot where you order at the counter and have your choice of indoor or outdoor seating. They always offer you a big bottle of water with cups at no charge. When your food is ready they bring it to your table . When you're done eating simply bring your dishes up to the cart & drop off on your way out. Today o got a $5 birthday reward. First time at McFlamingo's, it's like a hybrid Mediterranean/middle-eastern type restaurant with fresh and unusual flavors. The food is cooked to perfection on a grill, even the vegetables, the cauliflower was cooked beautifully. I will definitely be going back and will also try the new location on Beach Blvd. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful. I took my friend for lunch and she was able to use a coupon and her loyalty points towards our bill. The ambience has a lunch cafe type feel to it and also offers some outside seating too. Two chicken patties (I request thin ones because that's what I like) lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, mayo and A PICKLED GREEN TOMATO. It's fantastic. The sweet potato side is the potatoes (I ask for them well done, I like them basically burnt), almond ranch, grapes and chilis. It's the best thing ever. I got takeout and WOW was it expensive... the food was fantastic but I still can't get over the price. 6 pieces of shrimp and some rice was 25$. It was easy to order online and customize my meal. I asked for no tomatoes and they still added them which is totally not a big deal but something to note. Very clean restaurant and nice employees with a fast wait time. Before going to any restaurants, I always check their menu so I'll know what to order. McFlamingo's price range was a bit intimidating, but fear not, they are worth it! Place was empty when we came in but we see the staff were pretty busy with orders for pick up. I read from the reviews that the salad bowl is huge so I asked the lady which has a bigger serving, the salad or the rice bowls. She said they both have the same size of bowls but the rice bowls, specifically the chicken and Broccoli has a bigger portion. And so we ordered it, plus Chicken Pickles. Let me just say that the Chicken and Broccoli seems like a simple dish but I was blown away by the flavors! The ginger sauce reminded me of the Hiananese chicken ginger sauce! They have almost the exact flavor! But instead of the steamed or poached chicken, McFlamingo serves grilled chicken and they tasted well together! The ginger sauce is just soo good! Just that and the rice and I'll be happy lol. We also enjoyed the sandwich! It consists of grilled chicken breast with mayo, lettuce, pickled green tomato, red tomato, and red onions. Delish!!! I've eaten here at least five times and had good meals with friends sisters and my husband. This time I took a friend to lunch for her birthday and the salads were $25 each. The price is not my biggest issue. I stood at the check in counter for probably six or seven minutes with several workers standing right in front of me putting orders together- knowing we needed help, not one person said hello, will be with you in a minute. They just completely ignored us and when I finally made eye contact with one person in the back, I said "hi we're ready to order" and she said if you're not gonna use the Self order it'll be a few minutes. We had special request for my friends salad. So okkkk.. we are customers and we need help. There was ZERO customer service on a friendly level (I'm thinking- remember we are southern and friendly and you have literally two people in your restaurant at lunchtime) so when finally one of the people stops putting other people's to go orders together and one comes to take mine, I was very hesitant to leave a tip because I was MAD that they would completely ignore us standing there at the counter, waiting to order with them right in front of us. Mind you there was only one other person in the restaurant and it's 1245 in the afternoon. I very hesitantly left at 10% tip, but in hindsight, I would rather leave zero, however; I know these people aren't paid much, but it still really bothered me. But then it gets worse. I ordered my Thai shrimp salad and we sit outside to eat and I kid you not, no less than five minutes of finishing my salad, get the most horrible stomach ache and had a complete several bouts of you know what immediately after eating this meal. We were shopping so this was very inconvenient and troubling and painful. I didn't go back and say anything, but I will say I probably won't ever eat there again primarily because- I'm in the hospitality business and these people four or five people working in the store, do not know how to treat customers. there was a very negative vibe from these people we did not feel welcomed at all. I'm not there just to grab food and go. They need customer service training and a MUCH better attitude. Not one was friendly. The Very negative vibe was felt. We were there to enjoy lunch and I felt that was very expensive for zero customer service and wish I had not left the tip. $70 for Two salads, two fizzy bottled waters and a regretful 10% til. The salad that I paid heavily for was OK ended, and up giving me the runs terribly within minutes. Not going again. Nope. They should be ashamed of how they treat customers. read more

McFlamingo's is located in a stripmall that houses Pinspiration and Goodwill. They have a lot of healthy options. Everything from curried cauliflower to brussel sprouts (and everything in between). I will say their prices are a bit high. Although it seems like healthy and additional dollars go hand-in-hand. After about fifteen minutes someone in our party walked in with a mask, picked up our order and we were on our way. Everything smelled so good on the car ride home. When we got home, I immediately opened up my lentil burger and saw it was on an everything roll. I love everything bagels, so this was right up my alley. The lentil patty was nicely seasoned and super flavorful. The tahini sauce added a creaminess I wasn't expecting, but really enjoyed. It was a super flavorful burger. So flavorful, I didn't even miss that there wasn't any meat on it. My mom had the chicken sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it and my sister had the fruit bowl, and she said it was nice a refreshing. Would I come here again? You bet. I learned later that I could have went to the register to order but I didn't see any printed menus that suggested that as an option. Seed oils are so inflammatory for the body yet their message and product is all about clean gluten free food. It doesn't make sense. Even their chili crunch has seed oils in it vs olive oil.
