The food is always yummy. The wait is ALWAYS long. Tonight's experience was different, I called in my order, and was told to give them 25 minutes. I set an alarm to go in at 25 minutes. My alarm went off and I still went in 7 minutes later because I was checking out at Barnes and Nobles. I was the second person in line (not bad) And then when I was up, the young cashier (has faded colored hair) looked at me then gave me her back. She didn't greet me. We visited around 2 PM and hoped it wouldn't be too busy. There weren't that many people waiting so I was hoping that would be a good sign. I did notice that everyone waiting in the restaurant did not have their food in front of them, hmmm... We waited almost 30 minutes for our food. I noticed the people who came in after us got their food. I waited some more and finally went up to the counter. The cashier asked for my name and looked at all the bags waiting to go out. She finds it and hands it to me without a word and a blank stare. No apology or offer for something free for her poor service. I was listening the whole time for my name so I know I didn't miss it. Also, the people who got their food before us, had a third person with them. It seemed like they all ordered at once, but the couple got their food first. I heard the third guy ask aloud if they forgot about him since he didn't have his order yet either. You would think that they would all get their orders at the same time if they ordered together! Some of the rudest customer service on the phone I've ever experienced!! Called 3 times to no answer, about 20 rings each time, and then told im being placed on hold as soon the phone picks up. 2 minutes later, i asked for a 12 ct boneless meal (not knowing it was 10 ct and not 12) and was laughed at and told "we don't have that". Not offered the correct item or politely advised of the mistake and then offered the right item. Then asked what size (count) the bone-in was, and was sarcastically told 12 like i was an idiot for not knowing. After each meal was placed, i was rudely asked, "is that it?" like i was interrupting their time. Not asked "anything else for you today" or anything close to genuine customer service. After all items were placed, i was told "uhhh okay like 30 mins" which is a horrible reference to time, asked my name (which i let them know was Jon), and then was immediately hung up on. No "Thank you for your business, see you soon" or anything that great customer service would tack on the end. It was honestly like someone was answering the phone that did not want to work there and didn't care to even attempt genuine customer service. Why hire people that dont care, knowing full well this will reflect back on the business?? UPDATE: Picked up food @ 6:20 (which was the first time it's ever been ready when i show up on time), but food feels warm not hot. Paid for french fries, NOT THERE!! This is the old Wings N Things renamed. We ordered to go, which I was hesitant on because historical that meant a long wait if you didn't call ahead, which we didn't. But when you have a craving, nothing else will do. To my surprise our order came out 25mins later, hot, fresh and accurate. That's where the wowing stops. Wings small shriveled up sad little things. Sauce standard hot wing sauce. Chicken Strips alot of breading and as you can see in the pic, they're more like nuggets. Bread, dryer than I remember when it was Wings N Things. Mediocre at best. UPDATE: 2.5 stars: They didn't drown the wings in the container full of oil but it's still greasy compared to other places. Super greasy and this place did not satisfy my cravings. I ordered the lemon pepper and mild buffalo sauce wings to go and there was more oil in the container than the sauce. Looked like it may have been rushed since it was half hour before closing and they didn't bother to let the oil drip for a bit before packaging it. I ordered a family meal "Hot" and a single meal "Medium" Mind you I live about 20 minutes away.. so when I got home I was upset to see that there wasn't any sauce!! Comes with chicken (strips, boneless wings or regular wings) with choice of sauce, 2 breadsticks and carrots/celery with ranch or blue cheese. So it the staple wing meal. Chicken, bread, veggies, sauce. The breadsticks might be good. No guarantees. I've had a range from warm, fresh, buttery to hard, stale cardboard. So its Russian roulette with the bread. Come to think of it, its roulette with the veggies as well. Sometimes there fresh, sometimes they're brownish and slimy. The "hot" sauce is spot on. Thats what keeps me coming back. Pretty sure it just Franks Red hot but thats the EXACT flavor I like on my wings. In Summary: Chicken is good. Everything else is meh. read more

Completely confused on why this place has been getting so much hate. I have had all of the Buffalo flavors and they are all amazing. Most of the complaints I see are either bad customer service or the long wait. In my opinion these are the same issue. Typically they are really busy, If you don't order an hour ahead you are definitely going to have to wait. I personally have never had bad service or had to wait too long. There is a reason they are so busy because the food is great. It's a small kitchen with a lot of customers, makes sense why you would have to wait. I tried to put my previous experiences here aside and tell myself. "it was a long time ago", "they probably have changed", "didn't you see that new facelift the building got?". Wrong, wrong, wrong. The online menu is about 90% accurate to the instore so ordering ahead wasn't quite what I expected. No wet naps, really? What year is this? I mean when I'm paying $20 for 12 wings, seasoned fries and a drink I'd expect at least that. Lemon pepper is basically just butter with pepper, I tasted no lemon zing and they were so wet (despite being a typically dry style), they basically were swimming in a sauce that had no flavor. This was a joke, straight up. I was actually annoyed at this more than the battered fries (seasoned? Please) and to upgrade to that from 4 breadsticks was more than $1.50. Those breadsticks are close, but no cigar for Pat & Oscars. A saving grace is they carry Mr. Pibb and this area at night is less crowded than it is in the evening.
