I think this place has definitely improved their portion sizes. They now give two bread sticks instead of one, and four tenderloins instead of three. Came in last night with a friend because she was craving wings. I ordered the four piece tenderloin meal, I got the garlic parmesan sauce this time instead of my usual pick of their hotter flavor options. I actually really enjoyed the garlic parmesan sauce! It was flavorful, not too rich, and not too overwhelming either. I think I'll definitely order it again whenever I visit next. There was only one table available so I asked my friend to hold it while I ordered and then we would switch. I love wings n things. It is my favorite wing place and I go at least 1-2 times a month. We moved here recently so I went to this location for the first time last night. This has to be the WORST wings n things in all of San Diego. The wings were overcooked and dry but also somehow drenched in a gallon of oil as opposed to any sauce. The epic fries were barely cooked and there was so much oil it was basically like eating a French fry soup. The breadsticks were hard as a rock and cold (I ate in). On top of that, the staff is obviously undertrained and understaffed. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. It looked like it was only two teenage girls running the place. Long story short, this location is the worst. I'm not one to judge because I've been going here since I was a kid and love Wings N Things, but truthfully I am bummed with how this place has run itself right into the ground. Last week I ordered ahead, waited the allotted time and even ran errands before heading there to grab my food. I get there, the lady at the counter says it's going to be another half hour for my food. That's fine, I waited patiently along with everyone else. The time goes by, I get my food, then I head home to eat and instantly knew something was wrong. I figured I was tripping on the taste, but my girlfriend instantly says the same thing to me about the food, so I take a bite of both our meals and the chicken tasted like straight-up chemicals. We called the store to ask them what's going on, only to be laughed at by the two female cashiers, who eventually proceeded to "get their manager". I tell the manager the situation and she says she will process my refund. It's been a week since, there's no refund. They're full of shit. She then tells me they were so busy "as I probably saw while I was waiting" and didn't have time to change their oil. This oil tasted like it hasn't been swapped in years.
