1. The chicken in the sandwich was flavorful! The coffee had ice cream in it, but it didn't make the drink too creamy or thick! 2. The spot has fast casual vibes where you mainly order and go! 3. The staff were extremely friendly and timely with my sandwich! 4. Parking lot will start to get crowded after 8 am! Note: There is a $15 minimum for each card transaction! Also, there is no public restroom! Photo: Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich, Ice Cream Coffee, Cream Puffs Vanilla

Heard about this place and came couple time on Wednesdays and it closed. Finally happened to be in the area other than Wednesday, I ordered Vietnamese banh mi and spicy fish cake banh mi. Forgot say, the bread is quite good, better than majority of banh mi store around. For the fish cake, I was hoping the outside fish can be crispy (since it fried) and abit chewier - turned out it's just soft. But it's well seasoned and moist. For the Vietnamese, which is just combo but the meats is heated and wet (northern or middle version), which is unique and not bad at all. They are very generous on the veggies but they forgot or I forgot to ask for chilies. Over all the sandwiches are enjoyable and both cost $14 total. The store, in my opinion, big, spacious and airy - but messy. It needs to tighten things up (lack of water bottles or sodas in the cooler) or clean up the decor stuffs on the shelves (dusty). Great service by the owner or the lady and well packed for to go too.

Prior to travel, I was looking up places to eat and the area we had to visit. We had to come to TK Plaza for che, the tea shop and nail supplies. I saw this on the map so wrote down Epic Baguette as a lunch spot if needed. I needed a snack on addition to my boba. This fit the bill. There are about 3 tables, with a few chairs inside. They offer a variety of items, not just banh mi. They also have Mille crepes and a variety of smoothie/juices. Needed to note this since my sister did the ordering, "anticipatory service was lacking. I ordered and told her we would eat later and she still put the Đồ Chua in." I thought service was a sales pitch, she kept offering us different foods and drinks to buy since we were gonna eat later. Meh. There is $15 minimum purchase if paying credit card. We ordered dac biet (combo) and chicken lemongrass. Chicken was lacking lemongrass taste. You could smell it but not taste it. Dac biet was filled with cha lua (vietnamese sausage/pork terrine) and slices of pork. Not what I was expecting in banh mi dac biet but I guess it's close. (Normally it's other pork cold cuts.) Bread was crisp, and vegetables were fresh. She gave us a square bag to put our items in and atleast made some small talk so it wasn't a completely horrible experience. I was just a tad confused because the bag stated "SunMoon Bakery."

I loved Epic baguette! We tried the cream puff and the Focalicious sandwich, both were so fresh and a true joy to our taste buds. The service was amazing and the woman who helped us was the kindest. Highly recommend!

Juicy lemongrass chicken, classic daikon and carrot plus something new I haven't had with banh mis before - arugula! The savory meat, slight sweetness of the daikon/carrot and fresh, ever so bitter arugula came through well. The baguette's firm, crispy and chewy texture beats out Mr. Baguette easily. As you can see in my pic... I already dug into the food before getting a "good" photo. Delicious banh mi. This one is up there with Tip Top.

1. Ham and Cheese Croissant Sandwich with Fried Egg
Meghan B.

Came in around 1:30 today as I was in the area and wanted a Ham and Cheese croissant. Figured that they would most likely sell them; however, I didn't see them listed on the menu. Placed my order at the register and the cashier recommended I add a fried egg. The total was $5.95 in total. I struck up a conversation with the cashier, KayKay, and she was so kind and personable! We talked about our fur babies and she happily showed me photos of her dog! She was incredibly friendly! It was maybe 5 minutes for my order to be ready. 10/10 ham and cheese croissant! The fried egg was cooked perfectly to where the yolk was just slightly runny but not too runny to make a mess. The cheese had a nice cheese pull to it and wasn't too over powering as some cheeses are on a ham and cheese. I would come back again!

Vietnamese Thit Cha Banh Mi ($7) - baguette is thin and alot chewier than most banh mi breads. The pork was tender but slightly salty. I do wish there was more sauce or spread added.

Once you step in you step in, that buttery bakery smell hits you and you know you're going to pick up some carbs to take home. I initially wanted the raisin danish but the cashier said it would be a 20 minute wait for fresh ones. Instead she suggested the almond croissant which was fresh out the oven. They're very generous with the almonds on top as well as the almond filling. After I paid and had my croissant she handed me samples of the croffle and Ube mochi bubble waffle. They were so good. I kinda wished I hadn't come here straight from an Indian lunch buffet. Hungry me would be so down for a croffle. I walked to the other end of the store and saw that you pick your croffle and can customize toppings. Coming back is for sure on the to do list. As far as ambiance the store is nice but I think it's more of a to go grab and go bakery than a sit down and catch up with friends place.

Love their baguette, 1 thing hope you can open a little longer hours, we live in LA, and had a great experience with the lemongrass chicken baguette, and ham and cheese baguette. We bought a couple of artesian baguettes and a couple of regular baguettes Please make more plain baguettes for your customers and open a little longer hours

It was suppose to the spicy fish cake banh mi.
Samantha T.

To start, the service was terrible. The person taking your order had sunglasses and her hoodie on. Did not feel very inviting and the image in first encounter was nit impressive. I bought the spicy fish sandwich and was horrified to find that it was half the size of what banh mi's are. The taste was so disappointing I had to take out their fillings and put in my own scrambled eggs to make my purchase feel not wasted. I tried their smaller store with mostly French desserts in Garden Grove and wanted to support this place because it was their "sister store." But I will not return.

Matt s.

She uses fresh passion fruit from her garden in the passion fruit drinks! Very clean store with friendly owner. Fresh bread baked daily and delicious. Definitely recommend.

But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

She may have known the other customers in the store at the time because I felt she was a lot more friendly towards them. Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12

I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee.
