Unfortunately we had several issues, faulty wiring which resulted in destroying my backyard grass and my yard looking nothing like the fancy video they showed me. Gave plenty of opportunity for them to fix my yard. Filed a complaint with ROC and they also didn't show up for meeting. This license has been revoked and they are probably operating under another name. I'm out thousands of dollars with no repair. read more

DO NOT use this company! We had a backyard fireplace that only worked for one year & they gave us the run around so we used another company to fix it. Turns out they had poked a hole on gas line when they planted a tree! They just ignore our calls or txts! Bad customer service!!! MY REPLY TO YOUR REPLY - It's unfortunate to get this full response because of my review instead of you going over what you believed was the problem. instead of having this conversation I felt you weren't handling this situation, which led to my review. I also had to have a different landscaper fix the issue and he said it was a shovel that caused the damage. But even if he had said a stake, my husband said he would have never put a stake in because you had planted the trees, so that would still have been because of your workers, but again it was the original installation and a shovel breaking that line, not a stake as you say. You are correct, I was not there when this was installed, but speaking with my husband, seeing your communications with him and his receipt showed me you planted those trees and caused the problem. Rafael was able to meet 1-2 business days after inquiring with Envision Landscaping via Yelp. We did a walk-through discussing what i wanted which included around 500sq ft of pavers, irrigation repair and raising my backyard block wall. Although I had my own vision, Rafael was able to give his professional suggestions allowing us to collaborate on the overall outcome. I met with about 8 different companies and what stood out with Envision Landscaping is the thorough breakdown on the invoice and presentation. A proper breakdown of where my money is going is very reassuring, especially not being very knowledgeable on terminology and work. The presentation was surprising to see because this company used a drone to capture ariel view photos to outline where the landscaping work will be conducted. Overall, the experience was very pleasant from start to finish. The craftsmanship was very precise during the demolition, execution and clean up. We reached out to Rafa at Envision for some help with our backyard project and he was initially very responsive. He came out to our house a few days later for a free consultation, very friendly guy and gave us some good suggestions. He told me he'd be sending me a quote within 24 hrs. Unfortunately I never got the quote, so I followed up with him 5 days later and asked for an update. He told me he'd have the quote for me by midday, which was about 4-5 hrs from then. I never got the quote. It was the 2nd time he had broken his promise. I texted him that night close to 8pm saying that I never got the quote, and he just left me on read. This was well over a week ago - I never heard from him again. I really liked Rafa when we met in person, but it's really important not to overpromise. It would have been nice to get an explanation on why he never was able to send the quote. Was he too busy to take on the project? Not enough help? Whatever the reason, I'd recommend he try to be more honest and straightforward. read more

This guy could sell a monkey a banana that's how he ended up getting our business. So Rafael and his team did an amazing job on our backyard that was not the issue. The issue was the lack of communication and ability to follow through. Rafael, the owner of this business had a hardship and during that time of hardship, he decided he was going to close down his business. He had advised me and my husband through text messaging that he would follow through and do a final walk-through for items that were not completed along with some issues that we had. Now Rafael will probably respond and say oh, but I gave you money off for this; I gave you money off for that. That's all great and wonderful but your word means so much more than money. So just be aware that if you decide to use this business they are not great on communication, and lack follow through. For me personally communication and customer service is what wins every time. I would've loved to have given them a five star review but unfortunately, after seeing that he has reopened his business and not made the effort to reach out or touch base made it a hard no for me. He has left us with an open permit with the city of Peoria for a gas line. Not to mention like another reviewer stated my husband had to hire someone else to come fix some of the issues that we had in the backyard Ie the gas from our outdoor grill Leaking (which is a high priority but our messages went unheard/no response). I had a great first meeting with Rafa and then never heard from them again. I called and was told if have an email in the next few days and that was 2 weeks ago now. Don't waste your time ***UPDATE*** I was never asked for my final plans on another project. After first meeting I was told you would be back the next day with the grading guy. No one came. Called the office. They said you didn't realize you couldn't make it out and you would come that Saturday. I told her we weren't home Saturday. No idea if they did come because we never heard back from anyone. After that, our last communication was 5/27 and I was told to expect something the following week when the family was back in the office. I understand there was a loss in the family and am sympathetic to that. I followed up after receiving nothing that week. I texted and called the office. A woman said to expect something in the next few days. Still nothing. So I didn't try to engage many times in my end. This was the last communication. read more

You've heard the nightmare stories and talked with at least 10 different businesses to find the right person to take on your project. You can stop looking now. From our first interaction with Rafa, his professionalism and understanding was immediately evident. He spent most of the time listening, really listening, to what we were struggling with and what we wanted to see in our yard. He was responsive and provided extremely high-quality modern designs. We were very nervous about the design and materials, and Rafa came over to our house with a bunch of samples to sooth our nerves. Of the 5+ bids we got on the yard renovation, Envision was in the middle, but our relationship/trust with Rafa was one of the most important parts of our decision. We were prepared to sign the project documents and get started when we received some news that changed our life situation, and had to scale back our budget and timeline significantly. Rafa handled the change with supreme professionalism and we were able to work out a new plan to fit the new budget. Rafa didn't have to do that, and we are very appreciative that he did. For the project itself, we had the weeds/grass removed from our yard, an drip irrigation system installed, replaced our worn artificial turf, and covered the yard with existing rock. The workers were very professional and respectful of our property. When it came time to finalize the plan for the artificial turf, Alberto came to the property and marked out all the options and talked to us about each one. We had one small incident where our water was off for most of a day when installing the irrigation system, but I reached out to Rafa and he immediately resolved the delay. Our project finished a few days ahead of time and on budget. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend Envision Landscape and Design to friends and family looking for these services. Rafa and his team brought our backyard TO LIFE! They designed and executed an absolutely immaculate back yard for my husband and I. We came to AZ specifically to find a landscaper for our house we are building here. Envision KILLED it! They haven't posted any pics of our job yet but ours is the King job. If you look at it for a quick glance you'll be blown away. Everyone who comes over is very impressed with the finished product. The thing that I see most is the attention to detail, and they did that perfectly (and I'm picky). The spacing between all my travertine steps is uniform and perfectly square. The rock borders around my paver walkway is uniform on all 4 sides. The spacing in-between plants is correct, the trees are facing the right way (it's a thing). The irrigation is well hidden yet easily accessible. And the drainage!!!!! My yard had flooding issues before Rafa and his crew came out but those issues are GONE!!! Get your quotes (I got more than 10). You'll find Envision to likely be somewhere in the middle but they did TOP TIER work. Great value, great experience. And his crews have been with him for years. He's got a great team- no dirt bags. I'm using them again when we do the front yard in the spring. Get them to come quote you! read more

Editing my initial review from October 2022. Let me start off by saying Rafael and his crew did a decent job at first when installing our turf. BUT it has been less than two years and there are flat spots along with separation of the turf in five different areas of the yard. I contacted Rafa about the issue, he came out after having to reschedule to look at the issues. Then I didn't hear anything from him for three weeks until I contacted him for a second time. He gave me some excuse as to why he ignored my messages. He finally put me on the schedule after I messaged him for a third time. I confirmed that time worked. Well today is the day his crew was supposed to come out and fix the issues. I was give a four hour window from 12pm-4pm. So I left work four hours early to be home and it is now 4:30pm and they're a no show. Rafa is a flake and makes empty promises. Rafa is an unprofessional person and I'm disappointed with this company. I suggest you look elsewhere unless you like paying for work that will need to be redone less than two years later. They clearly don't take pride in the work they do nor do they back it. Pointless for them to offer a labor warranty since you won't ever see them again after you pay them. read more

He finished our back yard around our recently installed saltwater pool both in half the time he estimated and weeks ahead of schedule. Because his quote was so reasonable, we were able to add both larger box trees and landscape lighting to our yard, giving it a very welcoming, finished look. I wish my experience with Envision was great, but it was not. I feel blown off & cheated out of money & final product. The issues started toward the end of the project, first was missing weed barrier within the border of my decorative rock, which wouldn't have even been caught if weeds/grass didn't start growing through. While it was "corrected", the rock was merely scooted aside and mat laid, which caused large gaps to which there is still weeds/grass growing through my rock boarders. The largest issue was the "clean" fill dirt & top soil. The entirety of the fill was not clean and had massive amounts of rock in it which sod cannot be placed on due to root contact / irrigation issues. I contacted Rafa advising of this (which should have been caught) but again, wasn't & he said quote "its not our fault" - you are the professional proving a service, it is 100% on the company not ensuring your product is up to standards. He sent two people to rake the yard of rock the next day however it was not successful. His crew before leaving for the day advised me they need to re-do the entire fill/top soil as the more they raked the more rock came up. When I asked Rafa to call me to discuss, he said he was at a Dr. Appt and would call me after, that was April 19th, I have yet to hear from him. He got his money, and I am no longer important, I waited plenty of time to give benifit of doubt before writing this. Additionally, after the crew raked, they exposed PVC pipe for irrigation which should be at a minimum 4in under the ground. All around there were too many issues that were not caught, not corrected and the owner could have cared less. I'm sure some excuse will be posted in response, but please take this review not as being spiteful as it won't change the issues I now have to deal with out of my own pocket, but as a warning and my experience with Envision to search for a "professional" elsewhere. read more

They were prompt, courteous and professional. We selected them to complete the work and we are thrilled with the results! We're so happy with the results that we are looking into having them complete another project we were thinking about having done. We had our front yard updated, which included tearing out the front concrete walkway and replacing it with pavers. We had pavers and a 4 ft wall installed around the pool equipment in the side yard. And the other side yard we had rock replaced and our faux grass reinstalled after it was torn up for some foundation work.
