I've used Entrusted Pets twice in the past; once for my White-Capped Pionus, Lola, and again for my cat, Bitsy. From the moment I called this place, I was met with empathy, patience, and understanding. I was helped every step of the way and they even put me in touch with a vet who could perform the euthanasia necessary for my 18-year old cat. Any pet-owner can attest to the depth of despair they feel when they have to say goodbye, so having someone there to help dispel any confusion was such a blessing. They went above and beyond. Fast forward to today, 11-29-25. I called Entrusted Pets right when they opened at 9am and the call was answered by someone who responded in a manner that did not align with what I've come to expect from Entrusted Pets. I explained how my 11-year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with cancer and we were told she had maybe a week left. I asked if they still offered assistance with setting up the euthanasia and I was told no. I was then told that a vet would have to come to my place, and we would then have to bring our dog's body to them for the cremation. This is in stark contrast to my previous experiences where I could bring my pet to their facility, say goodbye, and they took care of everything after that. But today, there was no understanding, no support - it was very clinical and matter-of-fact. The entirety of the call lasted exactly one minute, and that included me asking all my questions. Ernesto was amazing. Our sweet Sedona passed away at 4:30 am on February 15th. I called him and left a message since they did not open until 9:00 am. I was in a panic since we did not have an appointment but he let us bring her in for a private cremation and we stayed for the entire process (over 2 hours) so we were able to bring her ashes home with us the same day. He was very compassionate. I was about to give 5 stars but glad I waited. At this time I can only give it 1 star. If anything change I will update this review. I took my beloved kitty here 10 days ago and have not received her ashes. I have left at least 2 phone messages and tried to message Jimmy thru Yelp. He has never returned my calls. I am heartbroken that he did this to me. I was completely devastated when I found her dead but now not to even have her ashes is beyond comprehensible. I put my trust in Jimmy and have received nothing in return. UP DATED from 1 star to 4. After 3 weeks and no response I tried to call again and this time blocked my phone. Jimmy answered. Was this just a coincidence??? I told him I have waited 3 weeks for some news about my kitty. He was on his way and would call me when he got there and could find her. After he called I drove to the location and he came out to my car and brought her to me. I contact the place and sent the docs over 5 times for the worker to tell me my records for my dog is not updated. I explained to them that my dog is up to dates on the shots and your not reading it correctly. I was them told that manager said she need a updated version of the records that I got from the vet. This place needs to learn how to read the records and have better communication instead of having you text a number back. I called another place after I was denied and the paperwork was good. We were a disaster when we had to euthanize our cocker spaniel who was 17 years old. I spoke with Jimmy so many times regarding every detail and he was so empathetic and patient that he was a saint. We wanted Sebastian to be cremated alone so that we could be assured that we would be getting his ashes so we brought him down there and we witnessed part of the process. There aren't enough ways to describe how amazing theses people are. I dealt with Nancy, my husband with Jimmy. Anna both were so kind she went above average beyond. I was unable to afford vet care when my sweet little baby boy Meshie got parvo at 5 months old age he succumbed after 4 long brutal days. No one would take less than $275, their prices were 1/3 of that, not to mention also included a commemorative box with his footprints in ashes, as well as an ink print. These folks at Entrusted Pets are the best. Very empathetic towards me in my time of extreme emotion from losing a dog, family member I had for more than thirteen years. Lauren was awesome in making the arrangements and making me feel comfortable that my boy would be well looked after until I could meet him in two days at the crematorium. Jimmy took care of the cremation and again was nothing short of stellar. Explained the whole process and showed real caring almost as though my loss was his also. He called when the process was complete, about 4 hours, and I went back to pick him up. They had him in a nice wooden urn and there were two clay paw prints from him and one ink paw print with his name on it. We contacted this place after some research on google and talking to the owner Joe. We called late and he was eating dinner, so we apologized but he said he would call us back that same night. He called back about 30 min later and listened to what we needed and really went above and beyond to explain what the process was for cremation, the cost, and how long it would all take. He also instructed us on what we needed to do with the body in the meantime until we could make it down there in two days. Other places we called were really not friendly, and didn't take the initiative to explain anything. He was very nice on the phone and we made an appointment, he was also the cheapest option of all of the other places we called. Pricing was not really a huge importance to us, but I felt as though some places were price gouging pet owners. We met Joe and we sat down and filled out the paperwork. He asked us about our pet and showed a lot of interest, like he actually cared. Then he walked us through the facility, showed us the crematory oven, and explained each and every step that he was going to do with our pet. He also offers a ceremony where you can be there when they put your pet in the oven. That was too emotional for us so we opted out of that. I am not sure what the cost was for that, but it was reasonable. We said our goodbye's, left our pet with Joe, went and ate breakfast, and Joe called us about two hours later. The whole process didn't take very long due to the size of our pet. We came back and the ashes were tastefully sealed in plastic inside of a memorial tube with his name wrapped around it. This would be nice to display by itself, but we opted to buy a lead crystal urn and put the ashes inside a velvet bag and into the urn. The whole ordeal was very respectful, affordable, and the owner really went out of his way to make us feel welcome, respected, and was very empathetic. I would highly recommend this service if you find yourself in this unfortunate predicament. Lauren and Ryan are so kind and were very patient and caring as they worked with us to make arrangements each time. The most compassionate people ever! I called them in advance of an anticipated euthanasia of my elderly Westie dog. Lauren was unbelievably kind and helpful. She explained how their "private" cremation was just that....singular for ONE dog. Other "pet crematory" businesses claim they offer "individual" pet cremations, but they are, in reality, several animal cremations at once, which each pet being separated by partitions. Sorry to be graphic, but if it is important to you that your beloved pet's cremains are not "intermingled" with other animals, Entrusted Pets is the place to choose. Virtually EVERY employee of ET that I dealt with was incredibly respectful and treated my beloved pets (my other elderly dog died 11 days after the first one!) and me with dignity and compassion. Truly, I would trust Messinger Mortuaries (of which Entrusted Pets is a division) with my human loved ones' and my own post-life needs, because of the experience I had with ET! Lauren is AMAZING.....seems to be an angel here on Earth...so kind and responsive. Danny was also very sweet and respectful. By the way, compared to what your vet (or even going directly to a pet crematory) might charge, ET is less than half the price. They returned my beloved fur babies in sweet red/black paw-imprinted wooden boxes, along with a clay imprint of their paws. Our dogs were treated with the dignity accorded a human! I lost my precious little boy Peanut, on December 19th after a long illness that suddenly worsened. I'm still heartbroken. We were inseparable. I did check with other places but this was the best price. Their response was the quickest and was in a very short time frame and everyone was nice. The only name I remember was Lauren and she was so kind. I have a beautiful wooden box which cost nothing extra, and a ceramic cast of his footprint. When I mentioned that I had always wanted to get a tattoo of his paw, but had never done it, Lauren offered the ink print of his paw as well, at no charge. I plan to get that done this month. I don't even know where to start.... I knew that my Lilly (dog) of 17 years was soon coming to an end, there were several times that I called Entrusted Pets in tears because I thought I was gonna have to lay her down to rest those days, they were so kind and patient and told me to take my time and not to rush, Nancy waited patiently on the phone as I cried. I kept apologizing and she said "please don't apologize, take all the time you need." about 2 weeks later when Lilly passed away and I was beside myself, I called them and made an appointment, I had also made a urn for her and they said to bring it with her and they will place her in there. When my daughter and I arrived, Jimmy was there to greet us with an open heart. I was a mess. he brought us to a comforting room and told us to take our time with Lilly, take as long as you need. He had brought a gurney into lay her down after I was done holding her. He started rolling her away and then I lost it again and went running to her and buried my head into her and cried. again with a loving heart he assured me that he would take good care of her and not to worry and to take my time with her. After I finally let her go, he took her away. One of the hardest things I ever had to do in my whole life. The kindness and epitheticness that these people hold is indescribable.
