I came to visit my sweet boy (Steve) to paint his precious little paw baby blue to make a print. Brooke and Daniel were incredibly kind and gentle with me through that. I was in shambles, absolutely inconsolable, crying like a baby and Daniel was so kind helping me take the print because I was truly shaking and crying from sadness. I was also a bit shaken from seeing him after he passed, he was cold and I was scared to touch his little body. Brooke gave me a cold water bottle and Daniel made sure I was okay to drive and advised me that it would be unsafe due to how upset I was. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. Steve was my best friend, baby and guardian angel for 16 years and that's most of my life. He meant everything to me. I'll attach a photo of what he looked like before his kidney disease. Had a nice experience here. They have a new location with very nice facilities so call to confirm the address as the one listed in Yelp was incorrect. We went through this process some years back with a different company in an industrial complex in downtown Phoenix that was outdoors where they just handed us the ashes in a paper bag when they were done. All Pets was so much better and extremely professional. They provide an indoor air conditioned viewing area and provide complementary bottled water. I find it quite cathartic seeing my pet placed into the crematory and being there when the ashes are removed and placed into the urn. I was able to take my dog to the vet to be euthanized and immediately take her to All Pets to be cremated. They have ovens (for lack of a better word) set aside to handle same day services. You pay a premium for this service, but this isn't something we do everyday and it is well worth it. Grateful to this business for being sensitive to our emotional well being that day. They have urns for sale, but there was no pressure to purchase and they were honest and mentioned there are less expensive urn options with online vendors. And when done the free urn they provided was a nice temporary home as we look for a permanent option. Way better than a paper bag. Highly recommend! read more

This is the tale of two stories with All Pets Great & Small. Our dog, Rocco (a Shih Tzu) passed away. I called All Pets Great & Small to see if they had a pickup service. Within an hour, they had two extremely nice men to our home to pick up Rocco. Prior to the men coming to our home, we wrapped up Rocco in his favorite blanket. He was still wearing his collar and tags. My wife and I specifically stated we wanted the tags and collar back. We were told they would deliver his ashes to our home by mid week. Wednesday came. We got a call stating that someone would be coming to our home in the afternoon or early evening to drop off the ashes. We waited, and no one ever showed. We never received another call. The next day, my wife asked me to pick up the ashes. When I went to All Pets, they found Rocco's ashes immediately. As promised, they were in a small, plastic container. They couldn't seem to find his paperwork though. Once they found it, I asked for his tags and collar back. I could see the panic in everyone's eyes. Here is where the second story starts... One of men who came to our home said that he didn't remember Rocco having a tag. In fact, he didn't remember Rocco being wrapped in a blanket and placed inside a box by me either. He said that he had no tags or collar. The owner stepped in and said I was mistaken, even though I had never seen him before. He wasn't one of the people who came to my home. He told me that if I didn't specifically ask about the collar, it probably went into the incinerator. I asked how metal would be incinerated. He then described the melting temperature of aluminum; however I pointed out that Rocco's tags were not made of aluminum, and I hadn't mentioned what they were made out of. In fact, I mentioned that just one or two seconds before, his own staff member told me that there was no collar. I then described the entire conversation step by step when the men came to my home. I stated to whom I handed Rocco's body. I told them that he handed it off to the older man, who then placed it in the back of the van. The person to whom I handed Rocco's body was in the room with us today. I looked at him and asked if that was EXACTLY the way it happened, and he said "yes." The owner took a forceful and unprofessional stance with me. I asked him what he was willing to do for me to make it right. He said, "so what do you want me to do?" I told him I wanted him first apologize for saying it wasn't his fault. As the owner, EVERYTHING is his responsibility. I then asked him to simply apologize to me, and then to call my wife and explain to her what had happened, since she was the one who was crying. Initially, his answer was, "I can't do that." I again insisted he call my wife and admit to his company's mistakes. He reluctantly called her and did apologize for the mix up. I asked the owner for just two things: humility (because of their mistake) and an apology. Eventually, we got (what I believe) is a very insincere apology. As for whether I would use them again....to be honest...I just don't know. Right now, this experience is very fresh in my mind and the owner seemed very disingenuous, unsympathetic and insincere. What I will say, is that we have another pet. If something happened to him tomorrow, I would not call this company. Maybe that will change with time. Hopefully, my experience will help guide you with yours. read more

Nobody wants to be here. If you have to be here it's because one that you loved has recently passed. I have dealt with them four times now within a year to have one of my beloved Danes cremated. Today was Matrix, he would have been nine (9) years on March 5th but alas his health quickly failed and he chose to depart in the wee morning hours. I picked him up from where he lived and we transported him here and I said a final goodbye to the sweet boy. On this occasion I had no wait outside and was able to complete the paperwork in a short period of time. How long this takes you may depend on how emotional you're feeling. The gentleman working is pleasant and willing to answer any of the questions you might have. Of course I had to inquire about rigor mortis and the time it takes to set in, how long it lasts, etc. The fee for cremation varies and I didn't inquire about that on this visit. I can tell you there are at least two options. The first is cremation and the cremains returned, this is called an *individual cremation. The other is basically a mass cremation and the cremains are not returned. *Individual cremation does not mean you pet is cremated alone. You animal will be playing ed in an area in which there is a specific amount of space between him/her and the other animals being cremated on that day. Also you should know they might not know an actual date your companion will be cremated. The office is cool, gray, and sparsely decorated. Does decor help the mood? Well maybe. I do think they could afford to add a more peaceful color to the foyer (? ) and a place for more than one person to sit, in case you have to wait, could help to alleviate the heartache you are already dealing with. They have an assortment of urns to choose from in the main office. In case you weren't aware, your pet is returned to you in something that resembles a black, plastic box. Purchasing an urn is not necessary but if that's the direction you want to go I would also recommend you check out Ryans Pet Supply in Phoenix or simply shop online. BTW, were you aware that the urns used for humans are basically identical to the ones used for pets? I mean the companies that make urns for people also make same for pets. *sigh* I'm rambling. The gentleman helped me unload our boy and although I didn't observe this I know he'll be placed in one of those freezers until cremation. If you deliver your pet with blanket (s) you should know that blanket will simply be disposed of. I take blankets to keep any bodily fluids/blood from leaking onto vehicle interior. So I also take home those blankets because they can be laundered and don't need to be filing up our landfills. So that's darn near everything. If you're checking out this place you're already an emotional mess. I am sorry for your loss too. read more

Wonderful pet creamation company. Jeff was great and had a loving tone during our sadness. We lost our Syrian hamster, Jesse and I called this company to have our love bug cremated. We discussed cost for her ($90) which came with a black plastic urn for her ashes. We took her there that afternoon. Jeff showed us to a room where we could say our final goodbyes & took care of the easiest paperwork ever. Two days later, Jeff called & said Jesse was ready to come home. We got there & Jeff went through the entire process letting us know she was cremated individually so we can rest assured we were only bringing her home. Thank you, Jeff & All Pets for all you do! Thanks firstly to Carolyn M. Without this review I would not have found this place. Nobody wants to experience the passing of a loved one. I just wanted to thank All Pets for helping with this difficult time. The owner was very comforting and helpful throughout the entire process. In our case we had to put our 15 1/2 year old Lab down. All Pets suggested Caring Hearts Animal Clinic and thats where we took her (I will write a separate review for them but they were great). We were able to shop for an Urn online via the All Pets website. I was grateful for this because it allowed us to grieve in private while still choosing something very custom for Kelly (our dog). All Pets followed up with us during the entire process. They called us before we took Kelly in and called us again to let us know they had picked her up. The cremation process took about a week and I was very satisfied with the quality of the urn. A few weeks later we received a sympathy card in the mail. This was done thru my vets office so I can't speak to the actual process of working with the people at this business but I will say that the "business card sticker" that was attached to the urn was extremely tacky and very hard to remove. There had to be a better way of including your business information than attaching a gaudy sticker to the urn and there also had to be a better way of including a beloved pets name. I was able to scrape it off in pieces and remove the rest with Goo Gone so that I can make something else to attach or just get a nicer urn with his name engraved. I'm assuming if you go there in person you do not get the sticker. read more

We Were 100% pleased. Our 14 year old female Cocker...."Bailee" had to take her final car ride. It doesn't make it easier but we knew she was dying and she could hardly breath. I had looked up on Yelp and found a good Vet clinic for her (Phoenix Mountain, also five huge stars) I also had checked and prepared for the cremation. I called All Pets, and they said we could come down immediately and they would handle everything for us. My wife and I drove there and asked for a individual viewed cremation. They were very caring and respectful of our dogs remains and several times offered their sympathies to my wife who was crying. We watched through a glass walled viewing room with cushioned chairs. They placed her body in the crematory and then we waited throughout the process. When completed, they returned her ashes to us and again expressed their condolences. It's hard saying goodbye to a loving family pet but the guys at All Pets Great & Small were great and made it easier.
