All About Restful Pets

This may be the most difficult review I've ever had to write, but the quality of the service…read moreprovided by All About Restful Pets on the hardest day of my life warrants powering through and sharing my experience in the chance it helps someone make the decision to choose AARP. Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better.

From the moment I called this place, I was met with empathy, patience, and understanding. I was helped every step of the way and they even put me in touch with a vet who could perform the euthanasia necessary for my 18-year old cat. Any pet-owner can attest to the depth of despair they feel when they have to say goodbye, so having someone there to help dispel any confusion was such a blessing. They went above and beyond. Fast forward to today, 11-29-25. I called Entrusted Pets right when they opened at 9am and the call was answered by someone who responded in a manner that did not align with what I've come to expect from Entrusted Pets. I explained how my 11-year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with cancer and we were told she had maybe a week left. I asked if they still offered assistance with setting up the euthanasia and I was told no. I was then told that a vet would have to come to my place, and we would then have to bring our dog's body to them for the cremation. This is in stark contrast to my previous experiences where I could bring my pet to their facility, say goodbye, and they took care of everything after that. But today, there was no understanding, no support - it was very clinical and matter-of-fact. The entirety of the call lasted exactly one minute, and that included me asking all my questions. Unfortunately, this place isn't what is used to be. Instead, I'll just find a Vet to come to my home - as suggested - and take it from there.

Even though I knew this moment was coming, no one can truly be prepared to wake up to find your beloved pet has passed away overnight. It was very difficult emotionally to process the loss, let alone trying to figure out what to do with his body. I called a few places that I found online, but the only person to call me back was Desmond (in 10 minutes no less!). He was able to drive over to our house right away. Desmond was kind, supportive, and very helpful. When he gave us his business card, I noticed a photo of one of his Dobermans on the card. It felt like a sign from above that my little Joey was going to be well taken care of. When Joey's ashes were ready, Desmond drove the remains back to our house and delivered the most wonderful package. The urn is a gorgeous wood box, and the clay paw print comes with a small display stand. Some of Joey's fur was also included in a little glass bottle. The note from the cremation center said a tree was planted as well. I've had other pets cremated in the past, but this is by far the most beautiful package I've seen. I would highly recommend Peaceful Pet Transport to anyone in this situation. Desmond is truly an angel and I'm very appreciative for his help through an extremely difficult time.

From beginning to end, Lucy was treated with such dignity, and I was treated with genuine kindness. The woman who called to arrange the delivery of Lucy's ashes was incredibly gentle and compassionate. I'm so sorry I didn't get her name, because the way she spoke to me and handled such a painful conversation meant more than she probably realizes. Today, Paul delivered Lucy's ashes, and he was equally wonderful, kind, respectful, professional, and very mindful that what he was bringing to me wasn't simply a package. He was bringing my little girl home. When you've loved a dog for so many years, their remains aren't just "ashes," and the people entrusted with their final care matter tremendously. Every interaction I had with this company made me feel that they understood that. There is no way to make any of this easy, but there is a way to handle the people grieving with tenderness, dignity, and humanity. This company did exactly that. Thank you for taking such good care of Lucy, and thank you for bringing her home to me with so much kindness. I will never forget it.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am, but my review stands in that this should never have happened in the first place, and I hope it doesn't happen again. I am writing this review on behalf of my friend who lost her beloved friend Rilo. She used Lap of Love at home euthanasia and their connection with AquaCrossings was what led her to this company. She realized shortly after they departed that Rilo's collar had gone with them. She immediately contacted the Lap of Love veterinarian who assured her he would contact AquaCrossings to let them know to save it for her to pick up with Rilo's remains. They did not save it. She was informed that they "don't make a practice of saving personal items". This is devastating. From a supposedly caring company, I would hope she could have expected at least a confirmation or reminder from the transport service that Rilo's collar would not be saved. That way she would still have that physical piece of her best friend that he was never without.
