PALS has been my go to for pet cremation for several years now. My husband and I are suckers for rescues, particularly seniors and terminal cats, dogs, and ferrets. Sadly, we will be looking for a new provider as PALS is no longer family owned and operated. They have not updated this site in quite some time apparently. In the last 18-24 months we have watched the cost of services more than double since the corporation took control. The staff is still incredible but the cost is just too steep. A ferret cremated in Jan 2022 was $115. The same service for another in May 2023 was $245. Today, as we prepare for another to cross over, I was quoted $258. I was told that prior to the corporation taking over they offered a "pocket pet" rate. This is no longer offered. Very disappointing. read more

Our neighbor and her dog were struck by a hit and run driver. She went to the hospital, but her dog didn't survive. I was asked to take care of cremation for the dog. My wife called around and was referred to PALS. We called and explained what happened. They said to bring the dog in. Wyatt told us because this was a tragic situation, they would not charge for the cremation. We were willing to pay for it, but he insisted no. Well, what can I say other than this place deserves more than 5 stars for their empathy and compassion. They are angels on Earth. My elderly neighbor and her little dog were out for a walk when they were struck by a hit and run driver. She survived and went to the hospital, her dog unfortunately did not survive. My husband and I were asked to take care of cremation for the dog. I called around to several places and explained the situation, and was met with I'm sorry we can't help without express consent from the owner. I was referred to PALS, and when I called and spoke to Wyatt, I was met with compassion and understanding of the situation. He said we could bring the dog in anytime and there would be no charge due to the tragic situation. Even after me saying that's not necessary, they insisted. I lost my 12 year old beautiful girl on Sunday night. I took her into PALS after reading some very nice reviews. I know it is not about cost but the prices were really good. I felt very good leaving her there and coming back to pick up her ash's. I got her back today and the staff did an awesome job with care. The presentation was again above my expectations. I have paid a lot more for a lot less. Also go and pick your baby up, don't have them mailed!!! My drive home was very happy even though I am still in mourning, but I was happy to end her journey back we she belongs......Thank You I will using this service again. read more

As my friend and his wife were so distraught over the death of their dog, to assist them I contacted a local vet for a referral to a cremation facility that offered grief counseling. They sent me to PALS and I forwarded this info to my friends When my friends called PALS, no answer. They ended up having to research facilities on their own. Saturday morning we find out sweet baby, Blu deceased. Not knowing what to do we immediately started looking for services for him. We found PALS. The ladies were nice and gentle on the phone. They quoted me a price that seemed high for cremation, but it's not like options are abundant for this type of service, nor did I feel like shopping around for a better price. The ladies were kind enough to stay late on a Saturday for me to bring our sweet baby to them. I was told the price again, and that it would be 3-5 working days to process his remains. I left and waited for the call. Three days pass - no call. Four days pass - no call. Fifth day - I call and inquire about our baby. I'm told that his cremation is complete and he is now in quality control. His remains should be ready for pickup "today or tomorrow." Tomorrow is Saturday and the day we planned to have our Celebration of Life for Blu. At 10:30 AM I called PALS again to inquire if he was ready for pickup. Clearly there was a bad connection because the gal repeatedly interrupted me as I was trying to answer her questions. We finally get a good connection and are able to speak to someone who said, "let me see if I can find his remains and I'll call you back." Now this might not seem like a big deal, but this is what cost them a five star rating. The insensitivity of "let me see if I can find him." What? There's a chance you may not be able to find him?! What?! Anyway - overall it was a decent experience although a sad one. The folks here could definitely be a bit more sympathetic/empathetic but I suppose after years of being in this business you've seen every type of person ball like a baby. read more

We took our Missy to these wonderful people for cremation. We were treated kindly and compassionately and I would strongly recommend you take your fur baby here. Suggestion - please trim toenails and surrounding fur before doing paw impression. Somehow there are not only holes (a reminder of her declining health) but the impression is not clean. There are no clear pad boundaries and it really doesn't look like a paw much less her paw. My memories of her little feet are now that, memories. Not an impression of her foot I can touch. Next time I bring my pet, I will make a point to specifically request nails and fur be cut to promote a clean impression. Yes, we absolutely will use this service in the future. read more

Miss Kitty/Amelie tragically died early Monday morning while her mom/my daughter was out of state. The team at Pals took Amelie overnight while my daughter changed her plans to come home earlier. The team at PALS made her (Kitty) presentable for my daughter to say her final goodbyes (one full day after her death). Despite our devastation and sadness we were welcome with kindness; they never rushed us during our extended goodbyes and really looked after us. I will be forever grateful for the team at PALS. I had my boy cremated with PALS last Thursday. They take the time to make sure your pet is taken care of the way you would like. I know they offer pick up, but I brought my pup to them. They offered to carry him in for me and then took me into a room to explain what they offer. They were very accommodating. I even had my boy back within a few days! Prior to last week, I have worked with Tanya and she took the time to really explain the process of how everything works. My sweet fur baby left this world too soon and I was hesitant to find a cremation service near me. However, most of the places I called wanted to charge me $280-$300+ for a 10 pound cat until I found PALS and was told that my cat would get his own cremation without other pets for only $245. Though it was a 30 minute drive from where I live, I didn't bother to think twice and took him straight to PALS where I was greeted by Wyatt. We were brought into a closed room where you answer some questions and choose their Urn. Then you are free to say your goodbyes for as long as you'd wish. Reggie our cat of 15 years was cremated at Pals today 7.6.2022. Reggie was euthanized yesterday at our home by a vet euthanizing at home service because he hated going to the vet. Reggie was losing the use of his back legs due to arthritis and muscle deterioration. His front legs were now weakening as well. We knew it was time to free Reggie of his pain and discomfort. We wanted a private service with a witness cremation (nothing graphic but you get to be a part of the process). We met Joe the cremator a retired firefighter. Joe, a very kind man, explained the entire process step by step. We got to have one more final moment with Reggie in our own private viewing. Not many pet crematoriums offer this service but we had experienced this once before with a prior pet in another state in 2006 and this method was important to us for closure. Pals has streaming in their facility compared to 2006 no streaming. We have come along way. Wyatt the intake person was compassionate and a professional at the same time gathering information from us. Joe was above and beyond. The entire staff was kind and attentive. I brough my own urn because I wanted the urn to match my cat with his ginger-colored coat. Pals has their own urns for purchase or their inclusive cedar box with lock, key and pet's name on a heart tag. I kept the cedar box to put some of Reggie's hair and whiskers he shed around the house from time to time. We watched TV in the evenings (we watched he wanted to get petted while next to us). Reggie was with us everywhere all the time by our side. We miss Reggie terribly. His ginger-coat was the sunshine in our house and now the sunlight has gone. There is no sunshine coming out of any of our rooms. The house is quiet without him. He was family for 15 wonderful years. We loved Reggie dearly. We got him from an animal shelter as a kitten. I can truly say I cannot say enough good things about Pals. I suddenly lost my cat Merlin, and with no time to prepare for his sudden death, Pals was there in our time of need. Josh and Daniel were both extremely comforting and supportive when we needed them. Josh came to our home and picked up Merlin's body less than an hour after we had called and made the arrangements. He was absolutely amazing and let us have a last moment with Merlin and treated him with the utmost of respect. He listened to our story of Merlin's life without making us feel rushed, it has helped us grieve his passing.   Merlin was very much our furry child and seeing how much respect he was given has given our hearts some peace. We had Merlin mailed home to us and when we opened the mailing box we could clearly see the care that was put into packaging. The Cedar box is absolutely beautiful and the lock and metal tag look amazing. On the bottom of the Cedar box is a printed label with Merlin's name as well as his cremation date. His paw prints are in a paw print shaped box that has a place for a picture to be displayed in as well. I am extremely happy with Pals and I can truly not recommend them enough.   I know where I will be going when the time comes for my elderly dog, as I know she and I will be treated with the utmost respect and care. Our precious kitty passed away and we were heartbroken. This company did an amazing job guiding us through the process of what to do once she passed. I was able to arrange for her to be picked up from the house (we couldn't have possibly driven anywhere to drop her off due to grief) and the employee who picked her up was gentle and kind. Let's start with there are not enough stars I could give for PALS!! They are the most compassionate people I could have ever met on the night before. I didn't know them and they did not know me but they were there when I needed them. My baby Special had suddenly passed, and we had called around to get someone to come and pick her up. We had called several places, and no one was available!! It was after 7 P.M. My best friend (I call her sister) was also calling. She got a hold of PALS and they agreed to come get my baby Special. It is a unique situation as I did not have all the funds to get my baby Special picked up. As my sister explained to Nick that my son had passed and all of his organs had been donated, (July 24,2022) two days before. Nick spoke with his manager to get the price down and boy did it go down!! They decided to comp the whole entire thing!! That's right this place who does not know me, has comped the whole entire thing!! My baby Special was picked in a matter of minutes, and Nick was so nice and understanding that I could just not see my baby Special taken out the house, that he waited until I drove away. I gave him my signature and he got the rest of the information needed from my children. I am so floored that as a company they have done this for me. It just lets me know that no matter what is happening in your life, there is still some nice people around and that is a plus for what's happening in the world today!! Thank you so much PALS!! I am disappointed with the service because my pet passed, they came and picked my precious Bella and said the ashes would be returned to me, and a receipt/invoice would be sent to my email address, well that never happened. I sent two emails and called, still never received receipt/invoice. They then called and said I could come pick up my ashes. Really disappointed in the service. I needed some time before leaving this review because it's never easy saying goodbye to your best friend. I just really want to thank the staff at PALS for their care and compassion in providing this service for our dear old pup. Being new to the area, they were recommended by our vet and we were very pleased. They honored our pup in a private service to assure us that we received only his ashes. They gave us a private room to say our final goodbyes and there was no rush at all. Then we were able to watch via a video screen until the process was complete and were provided his ashes in a beautiful urn placed in a blue velvet bag. It was just so beautiful. PALS' Crematory Manager, Joe, is the most compassionate, conscientious person. I had both my fur babies cremated elsewhere due to that's who the mobile vet used, but was not happy with the job they did. When Joe saw the remains, He insisted on taking them and doing a better job with them at PALS, and not only that, He went above what I asked for and put some in a necklace, which I never take off, and a small hanging urn for my car since my fur babies Loved to go for rides. These touching gestures both made me cry! It is for reasons like these that I would recommend PALS hands-down over any other company. I was extremely impressed with this company. We lost our sweet dog of 15 years this week. It was so painful and I couldn't even imagine how painful it would be to transport her somewhere for cremation. My husband and I just had a baby so funds were tight and I thought for sure that a service with such high reviews would be too expensive for us. However, they were very affordable. We paid to have them pick up which was a huge weight lifted from us. Daniel was the gentleman I spoke to to make arrangements and he was very professional and empathetic. They made the process a lot easier for us. Even the gentleman that came for pick up was professional and even knew how to approach our still living dog who was very apprehensive. We are very thankful to have found this company. My ONLY criticism would be that the truck used for pick up wasn't in the best shape. I was by no means expecting a hearse or anything but the bed of the truck was dirty and beat up and the tailgate had been damaged by an accident. It would have made us feel even better to have had our beloved pup transported with a little more dignity. But otherwise, such a wonderful company to work with. read more

This review is highlighting the service and care Wyatt provided to us. The hardest thing I've had to deal with was losing my big boy Gus. From the second I called and got to the location Wyatt was extremely understanding and very caring of the situation. In a calmly respectable manner he explained the process and options that are available.
