Typically Zachary sees our Bella and is very thorough and explains everything. Techs have all been amazing and show compassion with our pups. Yesterday we took Bella in for her annual check up and some vaccines. The doc we had wasn't one we had before but she literally spent less than 5 minutes with us. Didn't ask us any questions. Just was quick, administered the vaccines and took off and her tech took over the rest. $80 for what? It's not like she was super busy,overbooked or behind. Appointments are what? 30 mins? I even made a comment to the tech how crazy quick that was and she replied saying well we don't want to keep you here all day. I get that and appreciate that. But 5 mins? Just the lack of any sense the doc cared is what bothered me the most. We live in a 15 mile radius of 8 Lovet locations so I guess we will try another location next time. Suggestion for the App developers: Please add the dogs vaccine history and transaction history on our profiles. It will help allow us that have to budget to plan our expenses better.

In the last 18-24 months we have watched the cost of services more than double since the corporation took control. The staff is still incredible but the cost is just too steep. A ferret cremated in Jan 2022 was $115. The same service for another in May 2023 was $245. Today, as we prepare for another to cross over, I was quoted $258. I was told that prior to the corporation taking over they offered a "pocket pet" rate. This is no longer offered. Very disappointing.

My dog was having mobility issues due to old age. Terry asked me if he could take my dog from the room into the back area (out of sight) to do additional evaluation and tests. When he came back, he casually mentioned that he "popped a pimple" on my dog's back and punctured/cut into his skin when I wasn't there to stop it or monitor him! I don't even know if he cleaned the area or used gloves. I was shocked and horrified. He did this without me asking or authorizing it. No consent. No apology. No follow up treatment. It was NOT a pimple at all; it was a mast cell tumor right on his spine that he had had for years. Terry tried to push a spine and hip surgery and offered painkillers and sedatives, which I declined. My dog got sicker and sicker after I left Apollo North, in hindsight it was probably a histamine overload from the toxins released by forced tumor rupture. The tumor got bigger before it ruptured and exploded a few days later. Then he started getting weaker and seemed to be dying. I ended up driving my dog to a holistic specialist in California who saved his life. I've had dogs my whole life. This is easily the worst vet (Terry Silkman) and animal hospital (Apollo North) I've ever been to out of all of them. My husband believed Terry "popped the pimple" to try to force us to get the dog an expensive surgery. My dog almost died because of him, and he caused him extreme pain and permanent scarring. Horrible real life example of veterinary malpractice. The time has come to deal with what you did. Real pictures of my dog's wound after Terry injured him without my knowledge or consent. I have to drive by this place every day and be reminded of this nightmare. First vet I went to in the state after moving to AZ. Btw, this place is owned by National Veterinary Associates via JAB Holdings, a large Private Equity conglomerate that is attempting to take their company public right now. They can afford to have many animal deaths, settlements, and unhappy customers. Their stockholders won't have to feel it or care. It's beyond me that Terry is even allowed to practice. Front desk lady is super nice, but that man almost killed my dog, could have cared less when he intentionally injured him, then tried to sell me a surgery that he would perform. What kind of idiot tries to pop a tumor on purpose? He didn't drain the tumor, which I was told is why it ruptured and make my dog so sick. On a 10-year old dog weighing less than 10 pounds that had no issues from the tumor, which was not the reason for the appointment anyway. Terry is self-admitted and advertised as an orthopedic surgeon--not an oncologist or dermatologist--and likewise he had no business addressing the issue, especially without my knowledge or consent. My dog's body is my choice, not yours. Nightmare of a vet. Buyer beware in the most literal and sick sense.

It was very difficult emotionally to process the loss, let alone trying to figure out what to do with his body. I called a few places that I found online, but the only person to call me back was Desmond (in 10 minutes no less!). He was able to drive over to our house right away. Desmond was kind, supportive, and very helpful. When he gave us his business card, I noticed a photo of one of his Dobermans on the card. It felt like a sign from above that my little Joey was going to be well taken care of. When Joey's ashes were ready, Desmond drove the remains back to our house and delivered the most wonderful package. The urn is a gorgeous wood box, and the clay paw print comes with a small display stand. Some of Joey's fur was also included in a little glass bottle. The note from the cremation center said a tree was planted as well. I've had other pets cremated in the past, but this is by far the most beautiful package I've seen. I would highly recommend Peaceful Pet Transport to anyone in this situation. Desmond is truly an angel and I'm very appreciative for his help through an extremely difficult time.

Today, Paul delivered Lucy's ashes, and he was equally wonderful, kind, respectful, professional, and very mindful that what he was bringing to me wasn't simply a package. He was bringing my little girl home. When you've loved a dog for so many years, their remains aren't just "ashes," and the people entrusted with their final care matter tremendously. Every interaction I had with this company made me feel that they understood that. There is no way to make any of this easy, but there is a way to handle the people grieving with tenderness, dignity, and humanity. This company did exactly that. I chose this company for many reasons, particularly that it came highly recommended from a friend, but I'd be lying if I said that part of the reason wasn't because of the keepsakes and the fact that I thought I was going to for sure get an ink print of his paw so I can get it tattooed. I will take some responsibility in the fact that I was not the person to directly talk with anyone as I had Less than 24 hours between realizing that my dog was terminal and needing to put him down, so I handed that responsibility off to my fiancé, who was informed that I really really wanted an ink print. But he didn't know/think specifically to ask for ink when he called the company and just said paw print. It is standard for them to give a ceramic paw print, but not ink. We just went and picked everything up and while everything else was absolutely beautiful, to say that I am absolutely DEVASTATED to not have a true ink print of his paw with all the little nuances specific to my baby is an understatement. I think it's important to add that in here because a couple other reviews that I read between yelp and Google specifically stated getting ink prints (they all said they weren't expecting them, but it did make it sound like it was a regular thing) which is why I didn't double down and follow back up myself to make sure that this happened The girl working the front desk was so sweet and did her absolute best to try to get a quick one from the mold that was used for the ceramic, but it's just not the same and it's definitely not exact With that said, this company was timely in pickup and absolutely everyone we've interacted with was so sweet. It truly does seem like they take care of your pet as if it were their own. What we got, which is the standard: ceramic paw print with his name, plain cedar box with his ashes, for clippings, and a heart shaped paper with wildflower seeds in it to plant. I called Entrusted Pets right when they opened at 9am and the call was answered by someone who responded in a manner that did not align with what I've come to expect from Entrusted Pets. I explained how my 11-year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with cancer and we were told she had maybe a week left. I asked if they still offered assistance with setting up the euthanasia and I was told no. I was then told that a vet would have to come to my place, and we would then have to bring our dog's body to them for the cremation. This is in stark contrast to my previous experiences where I could bring my pet to their facility, say goodbye, and they took care of everything after that. But today, there was no understanding, no support - it was very clinical and matter-of-fact. The entirety of the call lasted exactly one minute, and that included me asking all my questions. Unfortunately, this place isn't what is used to be. Instead, I'll just find a Vet to come to my home - as suggested - and take it from there.

The doctor opened with five worst-case scenarios, then took our dog to the back to run an estimate, we weren't allowed to wait with him. They recommended overnight monitoring and mentioned a possible blood transfusion, which felt extreme. We decided that if he stayed in good spirits, we'd take him home and follow up with our regular vet the next day. The quote was $5,000, for tests that couldn't even be run until the next day. When we said we'd leave, they dropped it by $1,000, then kept pushing to keep him overnight. Our regular vet ran the same x-ray and ultrasound for $800 the next morning; all clear. Glad we trusted our instincts instead of putting him through an unnecessary overnight stay.
