They are sincere, caring, compassionate, consoling, gracious people who truly love animals. When our Ozzy was nearing his journey on a weekend; I called them and they provided me with a number to call during non business hours. They told me if he started his journey during non business hours, call the number, they would arrange a place for me to take Ozzy and someone from their office would be there to take Ozzy. The lady stressed call this number any time of day! When we brought Ozzy home, he came back in a lovely cedar box with his name on top, a memorial clay paw print and a card from them. We knew that they were respectful to our buddy of 14 years. read more

I'm so touched by how well organized and thoughtful Lasting Paws is. At every step of the way they show respect for the situation, making it as simple as possible for grieving clients. They also share grief resources online and in your packet. Receiving your pet back as cremains is no one's favorite thing, but I was immediately touched by the quality of all the packaging and clear labeling so you feel confident its actually your pet. Everything from the bag they put your items in to the certificate of date is on the highest quality materials and they are careful to spell your pet's name and last name correctly. I was especially touched that they managed to get a really good paw print of my Great Dane. He had huge paws, even for a Dane, so I wasn't expecting it to come out that well but its perfect. Thank you to Lasting Paws for all the ways in which you make a sad experience respectful and honoring of the love we have for our pets. I'm truly grateful. read more

I can't thank Lasting Paws enough for making our experience a very pleasant experience. Our 21 year old cat had been blind for 4 years, she suffered from a heart condition, had arthritis and was going senile. We made a very hard decision to have her put down. Lasting Paws came to our home where we knew Oreo would be comfortable. They went over the details and explained what was going to happen and made certain it was what we wanted to do. They gave us enough space and time in her final moments. They placed her in a beautiful basket after she had passed and gave us more time with her. They covered her up and took her. I arrived a week later to pick up her ashes. They made me comfortable while I waited for her ashes. They paid me their respects when they handed her over and asked me if there was anything else they could do for me. Very respectful, compassionate and caring. read more

Professionalism, kindness, attention to detail and care not only to the one I lost but to me as well.

My Shar Pei passed away on May 19th and VetMed in Phoenix referred me to Lasting Paws (Eternal Memories) for his memorial. I was completely devastated by his loss but wanted to place my order as soon as possible so I could receive his ashes, etc. quickly. However, I was in such grief when I ordered that I ordered the wrong urn and forgot to order pawprints. I didn't realize my errors until the next day when I was a bit calmer. I called and spoke with SABRINA and requested the changes. Sabrina was so empathetic and sweet - she made the entire process as easy as possible and assured me the corrections would be done. When I received my pet's remains and keepsakes, everything was very professional and PERFECT. Sabrina helped me a great deal in a traumatic and devastating time in my life. Please thank her. Your company is wonderful and does such a fantastic job. Thanks to all of you! read more

Much better than the place that is a few miles south of them. The only thing that I can think of that I didn't like was that parking was less than to be desired. read more

I have had three pets and one foster cat cremated through Lasting Paws. In the most recent experience, I engaged with them directly as I dropped the pet off after death and picked up the remains soon after. I have always been impressed with Lasting Paws, but having been to their facility and spoken with their representatives makes me appreciate their work even more. With each loss, the pet has been returned to me in a timely manner and in a complementary urn. They have also done paw prints for two of my pets, which were beautifully done. I cannot recommend Lasting Paws enough at the time of a pet loss. read more

Lasting Paws is a Partner of VetMed Emergency Services (whom I DO NOT recommend), and we coordinated our cat's Private Cremation with them. Having recently used another company a couple months ago for our pup's cremation, I can say with confidence that this place is absolutely top notch. When you part with someone you love, you want to know that they are being respected, and cared for in the afterlife; there was no question with Lasting Paws. Transaction was easy, pickup was confidential & confirmed, and their presentation was that of a company that truly cares for their clients. We received our beloved cat's remains in a beautiful wooden box, inside of a velvet bag, tucked in a coordinating gift bag, with a Certificate of Cremation, a Grief & Loss Support Booklet and a number to call for support. If the day comes when I have to go through this again, I will definitely use this company. read more

Our pet rabbit died suddenly and we didn't know where to turn. Fortunately, we found Lasting Paws. They were very helpful, kind, considerate, and never tried to upsell at a difficult time. The service they provide isn't inexpensive, but it is reasonable and in-line with what I expected. I hope to not go through this process again anytime soon. However, I will recommend Lasting Paws to all family and friends. read more

I am a customer of Paradise pet Hospital, and my dog passed away. This was the only alternative company that I had to use as I did not want to remove her body from where she was because of my loss of my dog it would hurt even more to keep removing her from place to place so I opt use their third company. The fee was $409.86 which included the urn and a ceramic paw print. I know the prices were the prices, but the product that I received for the urn was at Piece of poop for the price. I never expected to receive one in plastic. It reminds me of putting someone in Pottersfield in a pine box. I have one more dog living with me and I will definitely not use this service due to the quality of their product. read more

What is a pet? A pet is a friend and a companion, but most importantly, a pet is a family member. The loss of a pet is incredibly sad. The loss of a pet two days before Christmas is devastating. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to me at the end of 2019. I lost my beloved cat, Lexi, after a long illness. She died at home, on her terms, surrounded by her family. Fortunately, it happened early on a Monday morning - I was able to take her to her veterinarian (San Tan Animal Hospital), where they cared for her body, and sent her out for her cremation service. I picked her up Friday of that week, and was very pleased with the presentation and care of her remains. As you can see in my photos, everything is labeled with her name and a barcode - the outer box, wooden urn, and the remains themselves. Out of respect for Lexi, I won't show a photo of her remains. I will tell you that they are neatly bagged, and that the plastic bag has the same barcoded label. This is a tough review to write - I wasn't going to do it, but I think it's important to show how respectful Lasting Paws was with my Lexi. Should you be in the unfortunate situation of having to deal with the loss of a pet, I would highly recommend using this company. Goodbye, Lexi - I hope to see you again someday. Until then, you will be in my dreams, my thoughts, and my prayers. RIP sweet girl - 8/29/09 - 12/23/19. read more

I was out of town when my dog, Jethro, passed away. The thought of not being able to say good bye was heartbreaking and I had gone the next week or so with the notion that I wouldn't ever be able to say goodbye, or ask for a paw print, or how I would get his remains back, -- I didn't handle that phone call. But I just opened up the box and let me tell you how much it means to me. To see his ashes in a beautiful box was more than I was expecting, going beyond that the note that had his name and our last name on it stating that he was treated with respect while I wasn't there made me feel at peace. Lastly, the best thing, was finding his paw print inside. I hadn't expected that. I thought I was never going to be able to get one and seeing it sent me into tears. Sad ones yes, but good ones because this paw print meant the world to me. Thank you so much. Thank you for taking care of my dog when I wasn't there to see him through this. And thank you for the wonderful reminder of my big goofy boy. It means the wold to me. read more

After visiting AVECC I made the decision to pit my pup down. Her remains were sent to Lasting Paws. I am so touched at the thoughtfulness of what Lasting Paws provides. I didn't pay extra through my vet and I received the certification of her remains, a lovely urn and the most amazing part of all, her paw print. When I first learned this is what I was going to get, I was telling my friends and they all said, yea, that's normal - you'll get a basic paw print and plastic box. So I wasn't expecting much. Let me say, me and my friends are shocked at what I received. Originally I thought the remains would mean that most... no, it's her paw print. The paw print is the absolute best. Thank you Lasting Paws for giving us such wonderful mementos of our pets. read more

I am a Retired USAF Veteran and I know the meaning of "Great" customer service. Smeddy, Brittany, and Abdella at Lasting Paws gave me just that; "Exceptional" and "Outstanding" customer service. My little son Rocky passed on February 18th 2021. Myheart was devastated and crushed. His pancreatic cancer spread rapidly and I had to put him down. I did the in home euthanasia through "Fetch A Vet", I wanted him to go at peace at home; Dr. Brown and her staff were amazing, thoughtful, and compassionate; just like Smeddy, Brittany, and Abdella. I've been very distraught since my little son Rocky has passed. Rocky has been in my life 16 1/2 years and he was more than a pet. He was my second Son. We had a long journey since I found out about his illnesses (pancreatic cancer, diabetes, and kidney disease) back in September of 2020. Rocky and I have been visiting his primary care doctor, Oncologist, Internal Medicine, and his Cardiologist sometimes 2 - 3 times a week for the past 5 months. It was very stressful, but I was not giving up on his care. I've tried every medication possible; prescription and natural. I wanted to make sure he had the best care and best medications for all of his illnesses. I've talked to Smeddy at least 10 times over the phone when I knew Rocky's health was decreasing. He made me feel comforted every time we spoke and that my little son Rocky would be in the best hands and they would take care of him. I went to visit Rocky at your crematory on February 22nd 2021 before he was cremated. We spent 2 1/2 hours in my truck. Even though it was just his body and his spirit was in heaven I needed that time with him. Brittany had wrapped him beautifully in a basket with his blanket and toys when we spoke on February 19th 2021 awaiting my arrival on February 22nd 2021. She texted me a picture of Rocky after she wrapped him in the basket; greatly appreciated. Smeddy brought out my little son Rocky to me on February 22nd 2021. He was laid out so beautiful, he look like a little angel. From step 1 to step 10 Smeddy took his time with helping me get through a very difficult time, answered all my questions, and gave me impeccable knowledge on the whole crematory process; the service I received was "Exemplary". Rocky was cremated on February 23rd 2021. He was cremated with his favorite blanket and some of his favorite toys. I organized his toys and blanket when I visited him on February 22nd 2021. At my time of deepest sorrow Lasting Paws assisted me through the worst time in my life losing my little son Rocky; a compassionate group of employees. Smeddy was very helpful in assisting me even after Rocky had passed. I will never forget you and what you've done for me and my little son Rocky. Rocky came home on February 26th 2021. Dr. Brown from Fetch a Vet delivered Rocky to me in a beautiful urn. I miss him dearly every day. My healing will take time, but most importantly...he's not suffering anymore. I know God is taking care of my little Son. He was the "Greatest Son Ever." Rocky knows I'll always Love Him. Smeddy, Brittany, and Abdella were wonderful to me during this very trying time. I truly appreciated everything that Smeddy, Brittany, and Abdella did. They went above and beyond for me; thank you for all your kindness and gratitude. I can't thank Smeddy, Brittany, and Abdella and their team enough for making sure my little son Rocky's remains were done in a very professional manner; "Extraordinary" service. Thank you very much Smeddy, Brittany, and Abdella in my time of grief; greatly appreciated. I will definitely recommend to my fellow Veterans the service I received from Lasting Paws located at 3131 W Clarendon Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85017. Sincerely, James H., Retired USAF read more

Lasting Paws cremated our boy, Sam. They did a private cremation. Receiving the paw print, condolence note letting us know when he was cremated, and that he was treated with respect and dignity made a huge difference to me. I still think about it and am forever grateful a year later when I look at the note, his paw, and urn. I lost my 14 year old cat Jerry recently, and was seen at the Arizona Veterinary Emergency &Critical Care facility. Euthanasia unfortunately had to be performed. Do not let these people anywhere near your pet. My service animal had to be put down on October 13th. We paid nearly $600 for his cremation and an Urn that had a plaque with his name on it. We received his remains and the Urn. They did not put the plaque on his urn. We went back and forth with them for three days! They took zero accountability and gave several different answers all of which they blamed someone else. I asked several times for them to send the urn I ordered with his plaque attached. They demanded I drive accross town and return the urn they sent to them. Then they changed and offered to send me the plaque for me to attach as some sort of do it yourself pet memorial after paying them to do it. I declined as I have already suffered enough. I sent one last email asking them to send the urn with the plaque attached and include a return label for the urn they did not attach plaque on. Two days later I received a new urn just like the other with no plaque attached instead it was in a plastic bag for me to treat the memorial of my deceased service animal as some sort of do it yourself project. They included a letter saying they could not accept the other urn they previously demanded I return. The urn they sent was still not the memorial I paid for just a $600 do it yourself pet memorial. At this point I am at a loss they have caused my family so much pain, disrespected our grief and our Handsome boy. There has to be something done to hold them accountable for the damage they did to my family . I plan to pursue all available remedies and resources against them. read more

I want to thank Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services for all the compassion and assistance they provided, during the loss of my sweet persian, Angie. Brittany H. was professional, courteous, and kept me informed throughout the process. In the past, I had personally viewed the cremation of all my pets, but due to COVID, I was not able to. This was understandable, but Brittany went the extra mile and ensured me that my Angie would be cared for with dignity and respect, and this helped to erase any doubts I had, and I could take comfort in knowing that the ashes returned to me, would be of my sweet Angie. Brittany also sent me a lasting photo of Angie, before the service. I so appreciate her for doing this, and she should be commended for this, and all her actions. Thanks again to Brittany H., Bill (manager) and all the staff at Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services. I would recommend Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services to all pet-owners, during this over-whelming time; the loss of our furry loved ones. Thank you so much. Brenda WF. read more
