This may be the most difficult review I've ever had to write, but the quality of the service provided by All About Restful Pets on the hardest day of my life warrants powering through and sharing my experience in the chance it helps someone make the decision to choose AARP. Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better. read more

I was referred to All About Restful Pets when a friend knew we were struggling with our aged dog to determine if we had more time with her and if she was in a lot of pain. While we thought she was in pain due to her constant panting and no longer wanting to be petted or held, we needed confirmation before making a very hard decision. The vet was very honest with us on her visit. She took her time with our girl and us. Giving us plenty of time to ask questions, as well as explaining the very humane procedure you would ever want with your furry animal. When it was time to let our girl go their process was peaceful and provided us with the exact amount of closure. There are not enough amazing words I can say about All About Restful Pets. read more

No matter what it will be the saddest situation ever. But this is the second time we've called all about restful pets to help us out. Mrs. Beasley our good girl senior was ready to cross rainbow bridge. She never liked going to the vets office. So it was wonderful that all about restful pets come to your house. The vet that showed up, gave her less sedation medication, so she was very calm and sleepy. We were able to pet her and be with her until she crossed. It was the same with our beloved Bianca. The Vet talk you through it. It was just the best in a horrible situation. I am very thankful to do it here at the house where my babies are most comfortable. Like I said, we use them twice in two years and as will always be dog lovers I'm sure we will have to use them in the future. Thank you for your service and everything you do to help us on our Pets final journey. read more

In both cases, the representative from All About Restful Pets was caring, empathetic, and genuine in how they treated my family and we now have our puppies' ashes safe at home. On December 13, it was with great sorrow and broken hearts that we had to send our loving Ivy Grace over the rainbow bride. She was our beloved rescue for over 12 years and our baby girl. Ivy had the biggest loving heart and loved everyone. Dr. Sarnelli was so compassionate and kind. Ivy loved the treats and affection Doctor gave her. She explained what was going to happen thoroughly so we had no surprises. She talked with us for a while and made us as comfortable as possible. She gave us all the time we needed to be with Ivy. We were never rushed, but the time had to come. When it was time to say our final goodbyes, we didn't know if we could cope, but Ivy passed over in our arms peacefully and with dignity. We received Ivy's paw print as a remembrance. Dr. Gina was so so kind and gentle. She wrapped Ivy in a paw covered blanket like swaddling a baby. All About Restful Pets was wonderful to work with. We got an appointment very quickly. I'm sorry, but we don't remember the name of the person we spoke with to schedule the appointment, but she was so understanding. They even sent a thoughtful card a few days later. It is very sad when we must send our fur babies over the rainbow bridge, but for us having Ivy pass at home was the kindest last thing we could do for her. I had to put my very sweet 11 yr old Abby down this past week and it was my first experience with that, and at home. Abby was extremely anxious both in the car and at every vet visit. What a wonderful service this is. Dr. Gina was very kind. Abby got a lot of loving from both of us while she gently went to sleep with the sedative, and then the final stage is done when you are ready, Dr. Gina does not rush you. Note: my profile location was outdated; I live in Phoenix, AZ. All About Restful Pets was one of the companies recommended by my cat-sitter and vet when my precious kitty declined suddenly. She was 17 but it was still such a hard decision to make. Dr. Falcone was wonderful and made a difficult, devastating experience as peaceful and gentle as possible. She was sympathetic and patiently answered my questions and shared her knowledge and experiences. She was so caring and respectful towards my cat and I was so impressed by how she took care with her body after she had passed. The cremation process went smoothly and the ashes were delivered to my vet's office as promised. Dr. Falcone's team also sent a sympathy card that was so appreciated. Sadly . . . though, with all my heart, I'm writing to again to share my immense gratitude for All About Restful Pets. Unfortunately, 3 times in just over 3 years, I've called upon them to help me put one of my 4-legged friends to rest. Words cannot adequately express the support and caring I have received from this group and, in particular, Dr. Gina Sarnelli. She has been the veterinarian to attend and care for each of my kids and been there at the end to make it peaceful for them and for me. And all 3 times have been on her days off - and one was the middle of the night - but she came every time! Over the past 6 months Dr Sarnelli and All About Restful Pets has cared for our beloved 17-year-old dog Lola, through her transition last week. We had never supported a dog through end of life before, and contacted All About Restful Pets based on a friend's recommendation of compassionate and skillful care. Dr Sarnelli came to our home and spent 2 hours with us explaining what to expect, and how we could be keep Lola comfortable through hospice support, as well as took over her medical care. She and Shelley were my life-line through the last months, including helping us to decide when it was time for Lola to transition to her next adventures. They went above and beyond with emails, phone calls, and texts over these months, and we feel so blessed for their genuine support, care, and kindness. Lola was celebrated and loved to her last minute.
