This may be the most difficult review I've ever had to write, but the quality of the service provided by All About Restful Pets on the hardest day of my life warrants powering through and sharing my experience in the chance it helps someone make the decision to choose AARP. Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better. read more

On December 13, it was with great sorrow and broken hearts that we had to send our loving Ivy Grace over the rainbow bride. She was our beloved rescue for over 12 years and our baby girl. She explained what was going to happen thoroughly so we had no surprises. She talked with us for a while and made us as comfortable as possible. She gave us all the time we needed to be with Ivy. We were never rushed, but the time had to come. When it was time to say our final goodbyes, we didn't know if we could cope, but Ivy passed over in our arms peacefully and with dignity. We received Ivy's paw print as a remembrance. Dr. Gina was so so kind and gentle. She wrapped Ivy in a paw covered blanket like swaddling a baby. All About Restful Pets was wonderful to work with. We got an appointment very quickly. I'm sorry, but we don't remember the name of the person we spoke with to schedule the appointment, but she was so understanding. They even sent a thoughtful card a few days later. It is very sad when we must send our fur babies over the rainbow bridge, but for us having Ivy pass at home was the kindest last thing we could do for her. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have raised and loved my two kitties from the moment they first opened their eyes, for twenty and seventeen years; my Isis and Osiris. I first met Dr. Gina Sarnelli when my furry companion and little Lynx point buddy reach the end of a valiant fight against intestinal lymphoma and when it was time, I reached out to All About Restful pets to have his end of life at home in the comfort of my lap. Dr. Gina was so kind and wonderful, given the circumstances, this is pretty much the worst time to meet someone, so I genuinely appreciated how she didn't rush me, how the pain meds let him try to eat and feel better for a while until it was time to say good-bye. So three years late and a couple weeks before Christmas, when Isis was twenty and suddenly over night grew a concerning black welt on her gums that turned out to be the most aggressive form of gum cancer possible and was given two to three weeks, I once again reach out and requested for Dr Gina who was kind enough to come on a day she wasn't originally available. It was already emotional given that it came out of no where and Isis had been healthy but added the holidays, family pictures, and her being my first baby, I was a mess.
