our son wanted our pup to feel the sun as he said goodbye and the staff sat outside without pause

What an amazing company handling a very hard situation. Thank you for great communication while we scheduled. Thank you for walking our 12 year old son through the process of saying goodbye. Thank you for letting him lead the timing and showing him and our pup compassion and dignity. As the owners of multiple pups we will inevitably need your services again and will not hesitate to refer you to others in their time of need.

I had to put my pup of 13 years down, Luna. I was having the hardest time coming to terms with it. I found Luna Veterinary care and it felt right. setting up the appointment was easy, the gal was so sweet and accommodating with my needs. And I love that they communicated so well with text. I wasn't in the mood to talk on the phone and catered to me. Dr. Lauren is one of the most caring vets I've met in a while. Her and her team. As soon as she got here she made me feel comfortable and we even got to give my sweet one some yummy bread and talked about her before she left us. Start to finish they were incredible. I felt I did the right thing. For something so horrible, they left such a positive experience for me. They allowed us to have our privacy, have our baby feel no pain here at home with all of her loved ones. And I got a paw print along with a lock of my baby's hair. Their card made my day, they remembered sweet little details. I hope I don't have to deal with this for years to come but if I ever needed to- I'll always recommend them.

We had to face that awful decision this week with our 8 year old Cane Corso, when his adenocarcinoma took a leap into hyperdrive. Having heard great things from close friends, we turned to Luna Vet Care. While this was a sad moment for us, I cannot imagine it being a more peaceful and beautiful process than what we experienced with Luna Vet Care. Debra and Liz were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and a source of great comfort in such a delicate moment. They allowed time for our grief, last moments of snuggles, and were so unbelievably kind. What a treasure, to be able to release our sweet boy from pain and suffering surrounded by our family. This was a poignant experience to say the least and while our grief is heavy, his last moments were beautiful, and I cannot thank Debra or Liz enough for that precious gift. Highly recommend.

Warm, compassionate, responsive, patient - all of the things you need when making the decision to euthanize your beloved pet. I am so grateful for the service Luna Pet Care provides. I was able to keep my beloved 19 year old cat in our home for her final moments, and then openly and safely grieve her passing. Dr Debra and Liz were gentle, compassionate and patient with me. They took a few minutes to get to know my Sadie cat before she passed. It was one of the worst days of my life, but the staff at Luna did a beautiful job of helping me and my beloved girl through it.

    Rysha

We used their mobile euthanasia service for our beloved dog Rysha. Dr. Klein and Tina were incredibly kind, caring, and gentle throughout the process. Dr. Klein first administered a pain-relieving shot to our Rysha, allowing her to relax completely before starting her IV. She patiently explained each step of the process to us. After Rysha had passed away, they gave us time to say our final goodbyes before placing her on their stretcher. They gently positioned her head on a pillow, tucked her in with a blanket, and showed us so much respect for our beloved pet even after she had passed. It was an incredibly difficult time for us, but they made the process as smooth and compassionate as possible.

In May we reached the difficult point in our dog's life when we had to make the humane decision to help him pass with some dignity. This was our first dog and we have never had to go through this process, so it was very difficult. Our dog was a 15.5 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Finnigan. His quality of life had declined due to age related changes (blindness, hearing loss, incontinence) as well as severe hip dysplasia and cognitive changes. He still ate and drank but he didn't seem to enjoy anything but food, and seemed to just be going through the motions of surviving. Every quality-of-life questionnaire, as well as our own vet, indicated it was time to consider euthanasia. Luna was on the list of mobile clinics that our vet provided us with. I read reviews for all of the mobile euthanasia providers in Phoenix and while there are other companies that have been around longer and had more reviews, and yes, they had mostly great reviews, all it takes is one bad review to push me away, and I mean a bad review that indicates that the pet had a bad experience, not a review where the owner is clearly just grieving and being understandably sensitive but no one actually did anything wrong. That being said, Luna was the ONLY company that did not have a single bad review. The most important thing to me was finding a company I could trust, who didn't think of each visit as just another job but rather as the serious and heartbreaking ordeal that it is. I didn't want someone who is numb to the job to come in and just go through the motions and not really care about us and Finnigan. I needed someone who would make the process as peaceful as possible for my sweet boy so he could pass without stress, pain or any negative feelings. Luna was the most expensive option, but I can't put a price tag on ensuring a peaceful passing for my boy who has trusted me for almost 16 years. I wasn't going to let him down at the end.... I reached out to Luna to ask questions, and they were so kind and helpful over the phone, and they said I could text them if I came up with more questions after, which of course I did. They were never anything put patient and understanding. My husband and I booked the visit and Dr. Amanda Dorn and Sydney came out. We had already decided Finn would be in his bed in our bedroom since that is where he was most comfortable and at peace, so when they arrived we brought them to our room and while Sydney started to get things set up, Dr. Dorn said hello to Finn and pet him and fed him treats that she brought. We already knew that the vet would give a shot of a strong sedative and pain medication before putting in the IV so we planned to feed Finn a special treat to distract him during the shot. Dr. Dorn let us tell her when we were ready for her to give the shot, and even though we kept apologizing for the tight fit, maneuvering around his bed and ours, she was not bothered and assured us she had plenty of space. We fed Finn his favorites, a blueberry Chobani yogurt and sliced banana while Dr. Dorn gave the shot and he didn't notice a thing. He never paused his enthusiastic eating. We pet him while he ate and soon his eyelids were drooping as he got sleepy so we took the food away and just pet him and loved on him until he was sound asleep and snoring. Dr. Dorn and Sydney placed the IV while they had us look through a box of charms to choose some for them to would place around his clay pawprint (which they took while he was asleep, so his arthritic paws were not bothered), and during that time they also took a fur clipping to put in a tiny bottle for us to keep. Then we sat and pet him some more until we let her know she could administer the euthanasia drug. It was very quick. Seconds after she gave it, he had passed. The snoring just stopped. He didn't move or make a sound, so I know he went peacefully from a deep sleep to another realm. We were warned that dogs often don't close their eyes when they pass but his stayed closed. He really looked like he was still just asleep. They gave us as long as needed to pet him and sob and only when we said it was ok did they take him. They had a wagon with a nest of blankets in it and they swaddled him and placed him in the nest. Only his head was poking out as they wheeled him out to the van, as if he was going on an adventure. We waved as they drove off and that was it. From there we received updates via email regarding his aquamation process. We received an email to check in on us a couple days later, and a card in the mail thereafter. We opted to have his ashes delivered to us and a well-dressed gentleman arrived at our door to hand him off to us and give his condolences. He was kind and professional and we appreciated that he was dressed nicely as if going to a wake. It felt like he was respectful of the ashes he was delivering as well to us as the grieving owners. I hope this helps others when they are faced with this difficult decision.

Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. She didn't rush me at all. I also loved that she didn't seem to try to fill the space or give me sentiments. She sat with me in my grief. It was such a wonderful gift. With a decision like this comes so much doubt and guilt. You question whether you're doing the right thing, whether they might somehow pull through, and the emotional weight can feel overwhelming. On September 21st, 2023 Dr. Ryan Pearce lifted that weight from my heart. From the moment he arrived, he approached everything with compassion, calm, and professionalism. He gently explained just how sick Rambo truly was and gave me reassurance that choosing euthanasia was an act of love, not failure. He answered every question we had, never rushed us, and gave our family the time and space we needed both before and after Rambo passed. His wife, Jessica, was just as thoughtful and kind. She later hand-delivered Rambo's ashes in a beautiful wooden urn. They also provided two paw print molds, one for me and one for my mom along with several stamped paw prints. One was even framed and sits on my dresser to this day. Although I may have read about these keepsakes on their website while searching through my grief, receiving them felt like the most meaningful and comforting surprise. Being able to share those pieces with my mom meant so much. Two years before losing Rambo, I had used another in-home service that was good but Dr. Pearce and Jessica were truly exceptional. Their compassion, attention to detail, and genuine care made an unbearable day more peaceful. On February 11th, 2026, we chose them again because of the experience we had. It was time to say goodbye to Cinco, my sister's dog, who my mom had taken in and cared for. Cinco was 16 years old and had outlived all of our other dogs. Losing her felt especially heavy for my mom. There was something about her being the last one, the one who had been there through everything, that made the grief deeper and it still is. In a time when it feels like you cannot possibly make it through the pain, Dr. Pearce's kindness and steady presence helped relieve some of that weight. That kind of compassion stays with you. We are forever grateful that both Rambo and Cinco were able to pass with dignity, love, and gentleness. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Selena, Jeanne and Tyree

"Judged", "very cold, detached and rude", as another review put it, is an understatement for our interaction. Unfortunately, what should have been a peaceful goodbye turned into one of the most traumatic experiences of my life because of how Dr. Christina handled the situation. From the moment she walked in, she barely acknowledged us. There was little to no warmth or compassion--just a quick assessment and then we were told we could begin. I stood my sweet girl up to walk outside, something we had been doing all day because she hated being carried. Instead of showing understanding, Dr. Christina abruptly told us we were hurting her and making things worse. In the middle of my grief, I asked her to show a little compassion. She completely shut us down and told us she was "the animal's only advocate," as if we hadn't spent 16 years loving and caring for our dog. Dr. Christina made NO efforts to de-escalate the situation even in the slightest. I won't pretend I handled it perfectly either. I was overwhelmed, heartbroken, and shocked by how cold she was given the circumstances. While I was outside cradling my dog, Dr. Christina stayed inside arguing with my crying mother and brother. Eventually, my family managed to calm things down enough so we could move forward--because it's not like you can "cancel" something like this once it starts. When she came out to where my pup and I were in the backyard, she administered the sedation and, through my tears, she looked me straight in the eyes and said, "I just want you to know I'm not in the wrong here." Then she left us outside and went back into our home. I sat there, absolutely shattered, trying to focus on my dog and give her the goodbye she deserved. But instead of peace, we were left with trauma. My mother stayed up all night second-guessing everything, searching the internet for reassurance that we had done right by our pup--because of how judged and dismissed we felt. On top of grieving, my family now had to process the implication that we were not advocating for my baby and how cruelly and coldly it was all handled. This was one of the most painful, dehumanizing experiences I've ever been through--and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. While I understand that Dr. Christina's job is extremely challenging and emotionally taxing, it is important to acknowledge that with such a role comes a responsibility to show compassion and professionalism. Families who make the heartbreaking decision are already enduring an incredibly difficult experience. A basic level of bedside manner is not optional--it is essential. The people saying goodbye to a beloved companion deserve empathy, respect, and care from the professionals entrusted with such a deeply personal moment. We pay for a service, not personal opinion and judgment.

Our husky Sloane was very sick very fast and my husband and I had to make a very difficult and…read moreheartbreaking decision before she got worse. We called Dr. Morrison as heartbroken and desperate pet parents, unsure of what we were calling for and just guidance from a kind vet who may understand our grief. Dr. Morrison not only answered the call but explained in detail her services and promised us a peaceful night. It was EVERYTHING and more. Dr. Morrison's approach may not be for everyone and that is ok. But what I will say is she absolutely makes this time about you and your pet. She's completely honest with her approach, what to expect during the night and what you may help with during the process. Dr. Morrison really eases you into the moments, tells you to tell her your pace and is considerate of your heartbreak. After it was done, she gave us all the time in the world to grieve and say our goodbyes. We took an hour and not one word from Dr. Morrison because she knew we needed that time. We kindly said the boa didn't really reflect our girl and she immediately understood and took it off. It didn't take away from our grief or the moment because you know everything she does is to try and help. I cannot recommend her services more and I'm without a doubt convinced that there is a reserved seat in heaven for Dr. Morrison because of what she does for families everyday and the peace she brought us will always be appreciated.

She helped us thru the grief involved in this process and I would suggest you give her a call if you are in need of assistance. Thank you Dr. Morrison
