I was on vacation, my flight was due to arrive at 2pm, pickup time is 6pm...I should have had plenty of time however my flight was delayed twice and we didnt get in until 545....the guy working was kind enough to tell me to take my time, get my car, get my luggage, and just get there as soon as I could!! Gaby and her new sister, Bert, are just back from a week at D Pet Hotel in Arcadia. Bertie was dismayed when we arrived as it meant detaching herself from her two new best friends. I insisted she come home with Gaby and I and within no time she was back within the family fold. Both of them enjoyed their vaca at D Pets and are insisting we not unpack their suitcases as they may need to unwind there again shortly. They don't return your calls Like they promise to. I took my dog to them for grooming before and they did a great job. I wanted to continue to use them but when I called for an appointment they said they had to check with the groomer and never called me back..twice. It is unfortunate. read more

This was our first time using D Pet Hotels and I couldn't be happier. We had to do a temperament test before he was able to stay, so I knew that all the dogs were nice and that he was going to be comfortable during his stay before dropping him off. Zeppelin looked to have a great time. Every day they sent me a few photos of him. I loved knowing that he had a normal bed to sleep in and wasn't locked in a kennel all night, plus they have a night crew so the dogs are never alone. We decided to board our two pups with D Pet Hotels Arcadia for 7 nights while we went on vacation. This was the longest amount of time we had ever boarded them (and the very first time at this facility) and naturally we were a little nervous on how'd they do. However, D Pet Hotels absolutely exceeded our expectations! From the initial meet and greet to pick up, the entire experience was stress free. One of our pups is 2 years old and high energy and our other is an old man (almost 13 years old) so obviously both have very different needs, but each was cared for with the same compassion. Communication between us and the staff was phenomenal. Every single employee was friendly, professional and loving towards our furbabies. We love this place for our fur babies and they always come back to us the way we left them, HAPPY. We leave them at D Pet for daycare and boarding and both services have been great. We love when they send us update pictures while we are on vacation. That always puts my mind at ease. My hubby doesn't seem to care as much. Lol He's like "somebody is watching them, so they are good" lol Anyway. My doggies get a ton of exercise running with the other dogs and I like that they keep the littles separated from the biggies. This is the only place we trust with our dog!!! We recently boarded with D Pet Hotels Arcadia for 8 nights, the night before we were to board, our dog had an accident and cut his back toenail off which landed him at the Emergency Vet. D Pet was awesome at giving him all of his medication that he was then required to take and watched him to make sure he didn't lick the area. His toenail did bleed once while we were gone and they were quick to text me to let me know they stopped the bleeding, put ointment on it and were watching him to make sure he didn't lick. We picked him up and he was happy and healthy! They sent me updates and pictures everyday we were gone. I cannot thank them enough for caring for our baby! I've boarded my 2 kids here, and I have never had to worry about them not getting enough attention or being in a kennel all day as they get included in the doggy day camp everyday while they are there. So instead of them only having 2 or 3 walks a day (as is generally standard) they are out and about around people and other dogs basically all day starting at 7am. The staff at D Pet Hotels are also amazing at giving any special attention or fulfilling any needs for your doggy babies. My dog Farley needs to be given medication twice a day, and it was so easy to go over the routine and confirm that he will get his meds when needed. It's so nice to feel 100% confident that your dogs health is being taken care of while you are away. I highly recommend bringing your furry babies to D Pet Hotels anytime you are out of town for your overnight boarding needs :) read more

Absolutely amazing and beyond our expectations! Not only was this our first drop-in daycare experience with our 4 year old Akita, but we are visiting Phoenix from out of state. The staff made us feel so at ease during our initial meet and greet, and were genuinely engaged and attentive to our needs and concerns. We dropped Kuma off the following day and he was greeted by the same familiar handler from his meet and greet. Kuma has to be kept separate from other dogs, so the supervision and one-on-one interaction definitely put him at ease. We intend to take him back in a couple days for a final daycare experience before we head home. Our only regret is that we do not have a comparable quality service near our home. We highly recommend this company to locals and out of town visitors. read more

I used to leave my dog here quite often (3-4 times per week) for daycare. They accept cash and electronic payment, and I never had an issue paying with cash before. About 3 weeks ago they claimed that I had an outstanding balance when I paid in cash. They double charged me, and when I told the bald man at the front that I already paid he just stood there and looked at me with a blank face without saying anything. If you can't accommodate for cash payment, don't accept it! Won't be bringing my dog here again. I'm very grateful that I have found a pet hotel that I feel comfortable leaving my dog Gracie. I live in Buckeye was not happy with the reviews of other boarding facilities in my area. I have no problem driving to the other side of Phoenix knowing my dog is getting the best care. We have lived in the area for a few years and have two Golden Doodles that require grooming. We also travel a bit and board the pups when we leave, but not longer than 4 days. Recently I brought in Brodie to get a groom- WOW ! They did such a great job that I brought back Blaine for a bath, nails and ears. The other groomers we have been to are good, and the dogs always looked good but the D Pet Hotel groomer was enough better that I felt okay with paying a little more. I look forward to using them for day care and overnight boarding but so far my experience is great. The only complaint is that my Medium Golden Doodle is considered "XL" for pricing. Be exact in your dogs weight when bringing them in for a cut ass pricing goes by weight. read more

We've always boarded our dog at a facility our vet has, but they were booked for the dates we were going to be out of town. I was stressed because our guy is a sensitive baby (wait, maybe I'm the sensitive baby...) and started searching for an alternative. Luckily, we recently moved about 5 minutes away from D Pet Hotels and their good reviews convinced me to try them out. We did a short temperament test for free first, and then I had his vaccine records sent over. We had him stay for 3 nights and also added on a bath before we picked him up. I love that they just play all day, but can take breaks as needed as well--basically, they will keep your dog on whatever schedule you want. I LOVED the fact that they email out pictures of the pups every day. Made me so happy to see he was playing with the group. I'm sure people will think this place is too pricey, but it's worth it to us to find a place where we feel safe leaving our dog and where he gets play time all day. They also do drop-ins for daycare which is convenient. So happy to have found this location!! read more

Their grooming is hands down the best! I've had my dog groomed at Arcadia and Scottsdale, both do a fabulous job! My dog has boarded at both places and he does fine! They know his personality isn't Mr. Outgoing and when he is done with playtime, they take him out. They completely understand your dog. Great place! read more

I have two massive puppies that are also extremely hairy and unruly. They are both about 100 pounds. I wanted them shaved. I called many places. Some places refused. D Pet Hotels Arcadia was willing and also extremely well priced for the services. I brought in my two beasts this morning. It took four of us to wrestle them up the stairs to the grooming room. I was pretty convinced they were going to call and say come get them, they're too bonkers and please don't come back. Amazingly, the only said to come and get them, they were done. And my girls looks awesome! I have shaved them before but I am terrible at it. I am so grateful they took care of this for me and did a good job at it! The facilities here are beautiful. They do day boarding and long term boarding as well. This place is really nice. Swing by and take a look around. I just went out of town for the first weekend since I've had my 4 month old puppy Farley and was nervous about who would watch him. He loves playing with other dogs so I figured a pet hotel would be a better distraction for him than staying at a friend's house. D Pet Hotels in Arcadia was amazing! the staff is so friendly and the facility is really nice! I got updates and photos each day that I was gone about what Farley did that day and who his buddies were. I'm so happy I decided to have him stay here because I think he had too much fun with all the other dogs to be sad that I was gone for 2 days.
