Yesterday, 06/26/25, was the last day I got to spend with my ride-or-die Misty, a 15-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. I knew saying goodbye was not going to be easy, but her decline over the last week made me sure it was time. I was referred to Dr. Kelly Collins, and as luck would have it, she was exactly what we needed. For a small additional fee, she was able to make the drive to my residence later than usual and provide the services we needed, in a quiet, dignified, professional, and caring way. After Misty passed, I was given a few extra minutes with my girl. I then carried my baby to Kelly's vehicle, hugged her, and watched her drive away, knowing my baby was in good hands. She scammed $685 off of our family. No return. To this Day. And worst of all, our dog died an excruciating slow death By NEVER returning the money we were not able to have her peacefully put down by another company (Being out the $685 we had set aside for this specifically). We needed someone to come out the same day as our cat was suffering. We called several other places, but they were booked. Dr. Collins had an opening and we were grateful for that, but she wasn't our first choice. She arrived at the front door without a mask. Upon coming into the house one of her first questions was if our cat liked people. We thought that was an odd question because she wasn't holding or touching her. The entire process seemed rushed. She didn't ask if we were ready before giving the anesthesia. He phone wasn't on silent and she answered two phone calls while she was here including a personal call from her son. I appreciate the vet's compassion (toward us and our pet) and her professionalism and excellent communication on the day we chose to euthanize our senior tabby cat who had normal energy and looked fine, but was increasingly ill inside (kidneys). Her services were the second least expensive of ones I looked at in the Valley and she's in Scottsdale. I liked all that I saw on their web site and it stated she was fully vaccinated as well. Moreover, the vet allowed me to text her to see if she could take us same-day out of area. She was willing for the usual small $25 charge. It was worth a lot to me - it needed to happen that day as Tommy was now gagging at the smell of his food. When she arrived, she was polite but wanted to know if Tommy would put up a fight. We said only if he saw her bag, so she quickly put it down and from there, suggested that one of us get him and hold him through the sedation. She was clear to tell me it's not that she doesn't care if she doesn't greet Tommy - that is to disarm him. I really appreciated her doing that and explaining it. She gave Tommy the sedative and then checked 2-3 times to be sure it took full effect. She looked at his face one time and called him "pumpkin" which was nice. (I've seen this done strictly business before.) She really comforted me with a short conversation where she affirmed that kidney disease in cats is tough and she told me "better a week early [to euthanize] than a day too late." Once Tommy was sedated, she had already laid out a nice lined paper medical blanket on our couch and she had my husband lie him down. She checked all the right places with her stethoscope to be sure he passed. For me, I like to be present with pets until the end. I have this fear of a pet still being alive and seeing me walk away from them. :( So for me, I liked seeing how this vet nicely placed Tommy's body snug into a nice blue printed drawstring bag up to his shoulders, tucked him under her arm while carrying her bag, and offered her condolences. I liked how she treated Tommy even in death. A few days later, we received a nice card in the mail from them. I would highly recommend this company for this type of service. read more

I made my appointment online after researching mobile euthanasia services for weeks and after speaking on the phone with Dr. Kelly. My appointment was made 2 weeks in advance and my entire family prepared for the time to lay our sweet girl to rest. Our appointment was set for 9AM and Dr. Kelly sent me a text message at 3pm the day before saying she'd like to arrive 30 minutes early. Unfortunately that didn't work for us because of extenuating circumstances which I shared with Dr. Kelly. She then complained that my house was an hour of of her way (even though I paid in full for my service and additional for her travel fee). I asked that I she give me a call so I could further explain. We talked and she very rudely said that she found me to be very inflexible and she was stunned that I thought she'd be on time at exactly 9am. She said I should have assumed there would be a time frame window (even though my appointment was specifically for 9am). I kindly asked that she please confirm if she could make it at 9am the following day and she begrudging agreed while groaning. I found her unprofessionalism devastating during one of the most difficult times in my life. She had absolutely ZERO compassion for me and expected that I accommodate her need to change my appointment so she could still squeeze in her other appointments of the day. As if that was not bad enough she sent me another text (again NEVER a courtesy call) to cancel my appointment at almost 9pm at night claiming she suddenly didn't feel well and "had a fever". Convenient . I took the time to write this after having to take my extremely anxious, blind and ill dog to the vet 20 minutes away this morning to properly lay her to rest. I was treated with kindness, compassion and dignity the way I expected Dr. Kelly to treat me. If you are looking for an at home euthanasia please consider looking elsewhere. I got this business confused, when in reality, I was looking for the business "restful pets" https://www.allaboutrestfulpets.com/ - but this business somehow gets pulled up in google when searching for restful pets, so beware. I called the number and a lady answered. Her demeanor on the phone gave me some pause and I should have gone with my gut to find services elsewhere. We were looking to have euthanasia services for our German Shepard, but we weren't entirely sure if he was suffering or just old. We scheduled an appointment for 12pm (which the lady confirmed over the phone prior to submitting payment). However, she did not arrive until almost 1:30pm. My mom (an elderly lady) and whose dog it was, was struggling with the decision. This lady, Dr. Collins, was like it will be more money if she assesses the dog and then we continue on with the euthanasia. I was like, but you were over an hour late, it will take you like five minutes to look at him, but you want more money? We had already paid $600 for her to come and perform the services and to take the dog to a crematorium. Her attitude lacked any sort of empathy or compassion given the circumstances. She was very money driven, even claiming that she "didn't take other appointments to be here". I get that if this is your line of work, maybe you become immune to what you are actually providing, but maybe take a break if that is the case. Instantaneously had bad vibes from this lady (who is the only one responsible for the business, so I can't reach out to "corporate" or anything). And she had what appeared to be a bed bug crawling on her without her feeling it. I was extra afraid that if I let her in the house with her bag and used blankets, we probably would have been infested. I understood that if we canceled, that we would forfeit the fee for euthanasia, but I asked her to refund the money we paid for the cremation services. She was very unsympathetic and was like no. I was like, but you are not cremating an animal, we should be able to recoup those costs and she doubled down saying something asinine about how it can't be separated.
