On January 12, 2026, I rented a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car under a signed agreement for a weekly rental rate equivalent to $27.80 per day. This rental was associated with an insurance claim through Lemonade, which provides reimbursement of up to $30 per day (maximum $900). At the time of pickup, I was informed by an Enterprise representative that they did not have my insurance information available, and therefore I was required to place the rental on my personal credit card (Bank of America). Based on this representation, I signed the rental agreement and took possession of the vehicle. After leaving the location, I contacted my insurance company (Lemonade), who informed me that Enterprise should have been able to bill them directly. I then contacted the Enterprise location and spoke with staff, who stated they had corrected the issue and updated the rental to bill the insurance company directly. Based on this confirmation, I proceeded under the assumption that everything had been properly handled. However, upon returning the vehicle, Enterprise unilaterally changed the billing rate to nearly $60 per day, which is more than double the agreed-upon rate in my signed contract. When I questioned this, I was told that this higher rate is applied when insurance is involved. This directly contradicts the written and signed agreement and raises serious concerns about deceptive billing practices and potential insurance overcharging of a bill which should have been at not cost, to being charged on my credit card over one thousand dollars. Attempts to Resolve I made multiple attempts to resolve this issue: Contacted the rental location several times -- calls were not returned by the store manager who was supposed to call me. Eventually reached the store manager, who stated he would follow up but never did Continued attempts to reach the manager were ignored Escalated the issue to Enterprise Corporate, who have not followed up as promised Due to the lack of response and resolution, I have initiated a formal dispute with my credit card company (Bank of America). If this matter is not resolved, I am prepared to pursue legal action. Last, a BBB review was posted and feedback online to help save others from this company. Last, the car they gave me died due to a battery that failed. I had to call to get it jumped, return it to the store, and leave with another car. read more

I would give this location negative stars if it would let me. I had family coming into town over night and needed a minivan. I went online, chose this location, and reserved a minivan first thing in the morning. I must have entered my phone number incorrectly when making the reservation. But enterprise had my full name and drivers license number. I assume they could look up my info. I walk in and say I have a reservation and I'm met with a women, who stated she was the assistant manager, she immediately (I haven't even walked 2 steps in the store) that I should have given them 24 hours notice for a specialty vehicle. Also she didn't have one it would be another hour. I offered to drive to a different location. If she could help us find one. She said "no, you just have to cancel this reservation and find one and set up a new reservation". Then she wanted to charge my cc the full reservation cost plus deposit. We've been renting w enterprise for at least the last 10 years and never had to pay up front. She refused to explain why. She told me I must not rent in dfw very often - when in fact I do. When i told her this wasn't good customer service - to blame the customer for their system allowing me to make the reservation, not being able to explain their deposit/pmt policy, not helping me find a location w a minivan she said I was rude and said she canceled the reservation. When I called enterprise to make a complaint she never canceled it. Worst enterprise ever. Go to hertz. read more

This is the only Enterprise Rent-a-car location that I have ever had any problems finding. None of the 3 GPS mapping systems I used know where is 1725 S Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX. They all know where is 1725 N Interstate 35E, but that won't get you to their location. Not only that, but they refused to pick up my wife for her appointment. After spending 30 minutes driving to wrong locales, we called cal them for manual directions, and finally got there; but I missed a very important meeting to find work after being laid off. Enterprise, we WON'T pick you up. Even though we were called 4 times! I suggest that as the new Enterprise crappy tag to go along with their crappy overall service. From the very start my experience with the Vandergriff Enterprise location was below average. I called, was put on hold for over 3.5 minutes before being disconnected. The next day Enterprise was called at 2:05pm to come pick me up (about 5 minutes away). By 2:30 still no pick up. I called and Enterprise had no idea I was supposed to be picked up; no one was ever sent. Then at 2:50 I called back and supposedly the driver was around the corner. It was after 3pm before the driver ever showed. Next I'm taken to a location where no cars are available and no one seems to care. Rather than taking charge of the situation and seeming slightly apologetic for forgetting to pick me up, I was treated rudely and just put into the queue of people waiting for cars. Rather than wait for Enterprise to figure out which end was up, I called Geico and got set up with a rental at Hertz. I made Enterprise drop me off even though he tried to tell me that was out of their way. I got to Hertz and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Had they been cool about their F'up maybe I could have just said, "hey, shit happens". But not only can they not do their jobs, they don't care that they suck. read more

This location is understaffed, dark, and sketchy looking. That being said, the staff members I've dealt with have been polite and helpful. The branch is located inside "Van's Collision Center" which is a crappy looking old building, so it's not the most pleasant experience. However, you're only alternative in the Valley Ranch area for an Enterprise is the airport. I don't like renting a car from here, but I probably will again. read more

We got a truck that had to be delivered from a different location. That truck ended up being a dud when it wouldn't start the next day when we were on the way to a funeral. Later, we get a toll charged from when they drove from picking up the truck. We called to dispute- first person said it would be charged back, follow up call when it wasn't done said they couldn't do anything about it. It's $6 guys. If losing a customer is worth $6 you don't want to use this company, along with the truck not working anyways. read more

I made a reservation but they still had me outside for over half an hour waiting for the vehicle. Obviously that's not an ideal situation to be in given the Texas heat. When checking the vehicle she happened to miss a huge scratch. Luckily I pointed it out and didn't wind up getting charged for something I didn't do so look out for dents and scratches carefully bc they won't do it for you. When I returned the car I left my skateboards in the trunk (worth hundreds of dollars) I tried calling for three days then went up there and was told they were "thrown away" even though they had a drawer full of objects people have left behind. When I pointed that out the man in the front told me that that is for people who call right away even tho no one responded to my calls or voicemails for days. The man then kept repeating to me they aren't held liable. This place is absolutely terrible. Please for the love of everything good GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Enterprise never fails to delivery excellent and friendly service. I appreciate that this company pick ups and drop offs, these are the factors that I choose to use their services. Their reps are friendly and make efforts to rectify mistaken made. On one occasion, I left a small bag in the car; the office called and the rep turn immediately back to retrieved the item. The second occasion, a new rep miscalculated the pick up jurisdiction, the office called a closer location but the wait was an hour for pick up which was an inconvenience for me. Thus, that new rep came and did the pick up and offer an upgrade on my next rental. I will most defiantly be using Enterprise again in the future. read more

I had driven into Dallas and was in a bit of a panic as I endured a flat tire which later became undriveable. I called this Enterprise location who brought someone to pick me up. The staff was incredibly friendly and sympathetic towards my plight. They gave me a great rental car to use while my current one was getting served. Still super friendly when I dropped my car back off. I got a ride to the auto shop my car was fixed at! So glad I was able to utilize the services at this location! The guy who took my reservation (who doesn't even work at this location) was outrageously rude. He rushed me off the phone and failed to give me final details on things I needed to bring to get my rental. When I went to pick up my rental, Carlos accommodated me by apologizing for the inconvenience and gave me a free upgrade. He also made the process very smooth as it was about to become a big headache for me because the gentleman who took my reservation down didn't bother to complete it. Anyway, Carlos was incredible and he is the reason I will continue to use this location for my rental needs from now going forward. read more

I'm thankful that I picked this location for our rental car need. We rented a minivan for a family trip for the memorial holiday weekend. We had made an online reservation beginning on their open time, which was 7:30 am. But what a pleasant surprise, the store manager Craig called the day before the actual pickup date to let me know that they can arrange the vehicle to be picked up a day early so we can avoid the holiday rush. Of course he assured us by mentioning that the charge will not start until the scheduled pickup date. My sister and I stopped by to pick up the car and as soon as we entered the location we were warmly greeted by all employees including Craig, the store manager. He helped us going through the paperwork and made sure we understand everything. Even when we were returning the car (today) at 7:30 in the morning the staffs were so energetic and courteous. Craig made a short trip to take a final look at the vehicle and provided me with a paper receipt for transaction closure. I cannot stress enough how seamless the whole process was and the level of professionalism they showed was something extraordinary. Renting a car can be a hassle and it is not unusual to encounter unprofessional staffs during the process. But my experience with Enterprise (specifically this location) changed my viewpoint about it and I have no doubt that I'll be back again for rental car needs. Highly recommended! read more

The location is convenient and staffs are super friendly. I got stuck in traffic and was late for drop off and I called them and the staff confirmed it is OK to drop off an hour late. I think the intern 'Maya' is very helpful and courteous. She arranged a drop off and I got ride back home without much wait. The only down side is the Enterprise reservation system that did not alert me on available cars. I had to wait for the car I reserved to to be available and that took sometime. read more

Told them what happened at the first location and told me that I wasn't the first person to complain about that facility. When I was paying for the rental they told me that I had pay a deposit, $150.00, and that the deposit was going to be refunded when I return the vehicle. So a week later I retuned the vehicle, a little uncomfortable Hundai, but the guy said that there was no such thing as refunding my deposit. I was like really? You're charging me $330.00 for a week in the most uncomfortable little car? What a nice way of making easy money. Never again Enterprise read more

I have used this location several times recently while having car problems and then while waiting for my new car to arrive. These guys are pros. They know how to do their job well and they have some of the best customer service skills I have seen anywhere. If you go in on a Monday morning it can be busy, but they do a good job making sure to help everyone in order (just one small example: When the person helping me had to step away to double check something another rep on the other side of the room on the computer finished a phone call and made sure to step up over and help complete the transaction, and then handed it back over when the first rep got back. He could have just as easily sat at his computer and pretended to be busy). I almost never remember to write a review when stuff goes right but decided to create an account for this after several good experiences at this location. read more
