    Originally I was planning to get a rental car directly at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport,…read morebut daily rental rates for all companies ($500+ for 3-day rental at the airport vs $250 for 3-day rental at this Enterprise location via the Costco Travel website) were so ridiculously expensive that I decided to book my rental car outside of the airport. This Enterprise branch is located approximately 6~7 miles away from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and our party used a ridesharing app to get here (approximately $22 on Thursday afternoon.) I initially booked a standard car, but I ultimately got an upgrade (Nissan Rogue) free of charge. The only annoying part was that the staff asked for my car insurance policy number and I had trouble looking that information up due to poor cellular signal. After 10 minutes, the staff eventually just gave up and handed the car key to me. Hey I visited other Enterprise locations in California and they never ask me to fill out my car insurance information! Not exactly the best rental experience, but I do appreciate the free upgrade and hence the solid 4-star!

Unfortunately, our vehicle broke down on the side of (Highway 121 and Base Pro Dr 1.2 Miles from Location) with our kids in the car. We stayed in constant communication with Enterprise, letting them know we were delayed due to this emergency. While waiting for a tow truck, we attempted to get an Uber from the side of the highway and four different drivers canceled on us, making an already stressful situation even worse. We arrived at the Enterprise location at 6:10 PM, which was 10 minutes after closing. The lights were still on and employees were clearly inside, but the doors were locked. We stood outside with our children while they turned the lights off on us and made no attempt to help or even speak with us. We desperately needed this rental to continue our planned trip to Oklahoma for New Year's. Despite explaining our situation and all the communication beforehand, there was zero effort to accommodate us, show empathy, or provide any level of customer service. The representative we spoke with was Trish, and there was no attempt to involve a manager or explore any possible solutions. We ultimately had no choice but to order another Uber to the airport rental car location in order to secure a vehicle, adding even more stress, time, and cost to an already difficult situation. This experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. I do not recommend this location at all.
