Hmm...if only the rest of the city was this easy to navigate. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and lounges, but the best terminal is the international terminal D. However, if you are not flying abroad, the other terminals have lots of amenities. There are even a complementary yoga spaces in terminals D and E. There is a good assortment of local and international stores/ restaurants. Definitely check out Pappadaeux or Pappasitos in Terminal A for some excellent noms before takeoff. Even just catching La whiff the food here is enough to lift your spirits. Restrooms are plentiful but are in various states of disrepair or improvement. This is a work in progress and several of the restrooms are in renovation mode, while the ones that have been renovated have all the bells and whistles like touchless handwashing/ drying and spacious stalls. Overall DFW is one of the least stressful big airports and is like a city unto itself. It is larger than the island of Manhattan, and larger than LAX, O'Hare and JFK combined, but with it's smart design and constant strive towards continuous improvement, it's a more navigable and pleasant a place than it's size would suggest.

The staff were very kind and considerate all the way around. The restaurant downstairs was also excellent. I ordered the fajita salad and asked if they could change the steak to brisket because I was craving brisket. They normally have a brisket quesadilla, but they gave me a brisket fajita salad instead and it was very good. Ruby was helping me and she was very kind and took great care of me. Even the layout with the elevators worked well for us. It was easy to get around and get where we needed to go. Overall, a strong stay and good food. The Hyatt Regency gets 5 stars from me.

I stayed here this week for a business trip and overall really liked the hotel…read more Pros: -Comfortable and large rooms. I had one with two queen beds, the bathroom area (with a shower/tub combo, also) was also large. -Daily housekeeping if you'd like it -Hotel is very easy to get ahold of via text - I texted asking for a late checkout and they gave me 1230pm (checkout is at 12pm normally) only because they were having a busy week -Nice conference facilities -Pool although I forgot to bring a bathing suit -Free shuttle from anywhere in the airport - I flew Delta so I was in Terminal E, and the hotel is in Terminal C technically Cons: -The rumor was only 2 elevators were working ... they encouraged us to use the service elevators too -Going "off campus" is expensive - I went out to dinner and it was a 12-min Uber ride and about $30 each way -A lot of people at my conference said it was loud at night, between the construction and the planes arriving and departing. It definitely wasn't the most quiet room I've ever stayed at, but I got a good nights sleep every night (whether or not that's because I'm sleep deprived with a baby normally, who knows, lol). -Shower got hot quickly (this is a pro) but when I tried to adjust it, it stayed hot for a while (too hot). Overall I would stay here again, especially if it was a quick 1-night stay too (I stayed 3 nights for my conference).

You can walk to security and connect to any terminal quickly using the DFW Skylink, which makes early flights or tight connections much easier. The rooms appear recently renovated and feel far more upscale than a typical airport hotel. Warm wood floors, modern lighting, and a well-designed layout make the space feel calm and comfortable. The bathroom was a highlight -- the freestanding soaking tub and large glass shower felt more like something you'd expect in a luxury hotel rather than an airport property. Despite being inside the airport, the room was extremely quiet. Check-in was excellent as well. Desiree at the front desk greeted us immediately with a smile and offered assistance, which made a great first impression. Traveler tip: If your flight departs from another terminal, go through security in Terminal D and use the Skylink train inside security -- it's usually faster and very easy to navigate. Overall, beautifully updated rooms, excellent service, and unbeatable convenience for anyone traveling through DFW. I would absolutely stay here again.

The corner king room was quite spacious, and the decor is genuinely beautiful. The blue and gray decor reminded me of clouds and the sky which is perfect for an airport hotel. The room had a lovely runway view, but the room was super quiet despite being next to an airport. The bathroom was spacious with a large tub, a spacious shower, and double sinks. Bottled water is complimentary for elite members. The true value of this hotel is location! An elevator from the terminal (D terminal) takes you directly to your room floor and vice versa. It's literally a few steps to the American Airlines checkin desks. I recommend this hotel for a stay at DFW!!

For the record, no weather issue either here in Dallas nor in Phoenix where I'm going........3 strikes you're out, but I'm not falling for the banana in the tailpipe......I immediately booked another airline and called AA customer service for a refund on the front half of my trip, but keep the back end since I'm flying home with clients......Apparently AA won't issue a refund until after your entire round trip booking is complete - yet another inconvenience that screws the customer - moving forward, I will ALWAYS pay more to fly ANYONE other than American - oh, and when I did call customer service, got stuck in the queue because I didn't know my frequent flier number......for the record, I had my reservation confirmation number handy.....and when I finally got to talk to an agent, she immediately transferred my call to someone else - customer service? NON-EXISTENT and shameful!! UPDATE: After returning, I called customer service for a refund on the front half of my trip.....per company policy THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT COULD NOT ASSIST ON THE PHONE!!! She was great at helping me navigate the website in order to REQUEST a refund - on a positive note, once I finished jumping thru all of American's BULLSHIT hoops, I quickly received a refund
