I bought a car from Enterprise and shortly after, it started having issues. I called and asked if they could provide a loaner while it was being repaired, and they agreed, telling me I could keep the vehicle until a certain date. When the car wasn't ready on time, I called to request an extension and was told it was fine. However, I later found out they did not honor that agreement. Bought a 2015 Nissan Rogue and paid $1,300 to get it shipped here. Supposedly once received they have their mechanic check it. NOT. First thing I noticed was missing antenna. No book in glove compartment. Not premium floor mats paid for and pretty sure not Bose speakers. Most important issue is airbags show not working on dash so I have been driving my granddaughter around in a car with no airbags. I totaled my car! Fortunately, I had full coverage insurance and was able to get a rental car from Enterprise. I asked if they knew where I could buy another car and they told me about their sales lot. I had already looked online at Carmax and others. The Enterprise website seemed to have newer, lower mileage cars than others. I went to the lot and had a wonderful sales rep, Fabian Rosales. He was so helpful. I test drove a couple of vehicles and bought one that first visit although I'd really only gone to look. I am so happy with my Nissage Rogue! The vehicle I purchased only had one key fob. Salesman told me he would get me another one. Three weeks after purchase, vehicle is dead. I called in to ask about that, and reminded them of the other key fob. They said they would get me the other key fob. The vehicle had to be towed in to a local dealership that is six weeks behind in diagnostics. Battery needs to be replaced. The battery has to be programmed and the keys have to be reprogrammed for the anti-theft system. I only had the one key and it takes two to reprogram. After calling and talking to the GM on Friday afternoon (about 2:45 CST), he was going to call the dealership to get an understanding of the reprogramming. The cost for all of it is $797.00. Had they not dropped the ball twice, and gotten me the second key fob like they said they would, the programming would be free. It is now 11:45 PM on Monday and I have yet to hear from the GM at Enterprise Car Sales of Austin TX. Customer Service from my very first interaction through document signing was amazing. Once I took possession of the vehicle, some of the worst I have ever seen. I will be paying to get my own vehicle out of the service department because Enterprise Car Sales of Austin TX does not know customer service after they make a sell and the dealerships service department does not need to be in the middle of their lack of customer service nor does my vehicle need to be taking space there, where another's could be there. read more

When my 12 year old car was declared a total loss I was not really prepared to buy a car. I was hoping to get one more year to save up and figure out a plan. My insurance paid for a rental car from Enterprise and they asked if I wanted to hear from their Sales team. My brother recommended Enterprise Car Sales so I said yes, and Tom Z called me the same day to set up an appointment. Tom Z was really nice and listened to what I wanted to pay and what I needed in a car. He was also really patient and showed me quite a few things in my price range while I was figuring out what I wanted . I did not want to jump into anything that day. In then end I test drove cars at 5 other lots around town. None of the other lots listened to me or treated me as well as Enterprise. Everyone else either ignored me, or just tried to up-sell me into more than I wanted to spend. I was glad when Tom texted me with car that met all of my requirements, no pressure, but also exactly what I wanted. He found the perfect car for me and at the best price! After having a long term rental due to an unexpected auto accident which resulted in a total loss, I got a call from the car sales department telling me they had a total loss department that worked with people in my case. I went back and forth about dealing with them in my mind, but because they had a total loss program and my previous car loan showing up on my credit months after the accident, I figured I'd give them a shot. I explained to them my entire situation, how I needed a car but the previous car was still on the reports so if they did like any other dealer and just pulled my credit, it would be there. They assured me it wouldn't be a problem as they dealt with this before. So, I came down and found a car that I wasn't particularly a fan of, but met my basic needs that I would simply trade in and I decided against my better judgement to try them. After all that, they told me I needed to put 3k down to get approved. Now, I won't admit that my credit is perfect, it's not, but I pay all my bills on time and I have no major debt, since the car is gone. The car loan has even paid off, just not showing up yet as such on my reports, but I made sure to email the salesman all the appropriate documents and information showing this. The salesman who ran the paperwork hid in the back, instead of being brave enough to come out and face me and tell me the situation so he sent someone else, who decides to start telling me about his upcoming moving company giving referrals since I work as a property manager. I had to cut him off so I could read the documents. My information was never asked for, they just ran my credit through the ringer and said I needed a 3k down payment. I knew that, being a 28-year-old female car shopping alone, I'd run up against a few prejudicial challenges along the way. I had no idea it would be as bad as it was at Enterprise. There were a few other (unrelated) offenses in the first few minutes of my time there. Straight off the bat, the man working told me that they operate on a no-pressure sales system which includes not filling out any forms. He showed me the forms that he was going to set aside for me to fill out later, at home. He then got out another form, and a pen, and asked me where I was from and all other kinds of personal details. Naturally, I pointed out that he had said we weren't going to fill out forms that day at ALL and that the personal details seemed irrelevant. I felt at this point, it was strange we had not yet started talking about the kind of car that I was looking for. Then he flashed a big smile and told me I have beautiful skin. Excuse me?? I asked if we could talk about the cars. He said, "No problem!" this is what he said in response to everything I said or asked. I was confused. It had not occurred to me that walking into a car salesman's office and asking to talk about what kind of car I wanted to buy was going to be a problem. Whew. Glad he confirmed that this was going to be an ok topic of discussion! ...? He asked what kind of car I used to drive and whether I wanted to trade it in. I told him, but I also told him it didn't matter much what I used to drive because it had been totaled so it was now the property of some insurance company north of town. He then asked me, "Did your dad buy you that car?" This was an affront so incredibly rude and disrespectful, it was almost funny. Almost. I answered curtly, "No." He continued. "Oh, did your mom buy you that car?" Here's what really got me. If he had asked "Who bought that car?" I would have been somewhat offended, but I was ready for that. The question of whether my dad bought it, and if not, it must have been my mom, removed any possibility of my having bought it myself. Which I did. I bought my car and paid for it outright after working my ass off in college. Not only is that true, I don't feel like it's any of this dude's business. Sheesh. read more

After I totaled my vehicle, I rented a car from Enterprise. The guy behind the counter asked if he could have their car sales division call me. He said they could search for what I specifically wanted as well as let me browse their options. I was skeptical about buying a former rental vehicle, but I know my credit union sometimes advertises Enterprise Car Sales, so that gave me some confidence. I wanted something specific, a Toyota Yaris, but I couldn't find anything at any of the local dealerships that was in my price range. I was shocked when Enterprise called and said they had exactly what I wanted and exactly in my price range. If that wasn't good enough, they told me my car had passed a 109-pt. inspection through a 3rd party certification company. If it hadn't passed, they would have sold the car to a dealership because they only keep and sell the best of their stock. But there's more. We did most of the paperwork over the phone. They also gave me a 24 month/24,000 mile warranty on the drive train, and on all the 109 points that were inspected and certified. On a used car. That's almost as good as when I bought a brand new Subaru! Wait, there's still more. They had my car repainted. They gave me a full tank of gas. They put a bow on it. I mean seriously, they had me at the sticker price, but ok, thanks for everything! My sales person was Mandy, and the credit guy was Shawn. They were both wonderful. read more

On Christmas Eve, I was driving home from my parents' house, and a deer jumped out of a ditch on 360. I totaled the deer, but the deer totaled my car. I had been planning on replacing the car in six months or so, hadn't started saving money yet, and now I have to get a car right after spending all that money on gifts! Crap! I drove around in my Enterprise rental for a few weeks while insurance tried to decide if it was totaled or not, and when I returned the car, the sales chick said something about my car being all fixed now. "No, it's totaled," I told her. "Have you checked out our car sales?" she asked. "They're all pretty new--2008, 2009 models, and below blue book value." "Yeah, I don't think I can afford that new of a car..." "We'll work with your budget. Can I have someone call you? Can't hurt to see what we can do for you, right?" "Ok, have someone call me. Thanks." Then, lo and behold, I got a call the next (Tuesday) afternoon from a really nice guy. He explained how they work, that they have a total loss program for people like me, and that they have all sorts of financing options through different lenders. He even offered to come in on his day off if one of the available meeting times wasn't convenient for me. Friday afternoon had me driving off in a 2008 Envoy that was every single thing I needed in a car, giving me room for my great big dogs that hadn't been fitting in my sedan. I got a killer price, every option I'd wanted, and I got to take the car home then by giving them a post-dated down payment check once I'd been approved for the loan. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly, never pressuring. I got a vehicle history report, new tires, and a car whose fluids had all been freshly flushed and replaced. It was totally unlike every dealer experience I've ever been though, and next time I need a new car, I'll go there first. Can't say enough good things about them! read more

We went in to get two vehicles and walked away with only one dangerous vehicle after the deliberate mistreatment of the staff. From the blatant disregard for what was clearly being communicated to the sales rep, Estee, to the abusive treatment from the so called "manager", it was the worst sales experience we have ever had. We were flat out lied to about the quality and safety of the vehicle we purchased. Additionally, it was not communicated to us that other documentation would have to be provided to Enterprise for the sale to be completed. And when we did not immediately respond, harassing text messages and voicemails were sent by not one, not two, not three, but FOUR different employees from Enterprise. The worst of these messages from the "manager".   The one and only thing that Enterprise agreed upfront to take care of became a nightmare to try to get resolved. We were turned away after we were called to get the part installed and it was actually ignorantly encouraged to install the part on our own. Upon arriving for the appointment that we were forced to make, we discovered that was too much for Estee to handle, and that she had not correctly scheduled us.   We were told the vehicle had passed all inspections and been certified without any open recalls. Yet, the Dodge dealership that took 2 months to get us in, because Enterprise insisted we go to a dealership as it was under factory warranty, found that to be false. The vehicle is still not safe, and being pregnant and subjected to the risk that the vehicle poses, is negligent and criminal. We are not happy with the experience we had or the vehicle itself. If we had been able to have the vehicle evaluated and serviced within their buyback guarantee time, we would have done so. It is obvious we were no longer customers in Enterprises' eyes once we had driven off the lot. After the horrific treatment we received from the staff and "manager" we do not wish to continue with any sort of business with Enterprise. What kind of establishment, especially one in customer service, allows managers to yell at their customers and leave threatening messages? The "manager" promised to make it right and make it up to us, but instead did no such thing. He had the audacity to refuse to apologize and kept belittling us. We would much rather part ways and give the vehicle back instead of enduring another moment of deception and harassment from Enterprise. read more

The most Aggressive pushy and compassionate sells rep was clearly somebody that I did not need to do business with. After being in an car accident I had several people reach out to me from different car lots wanting to attempt to sell me a vehicle. First of all I've never experienced at a total loss from a car accident or been in a car accident or I was injured. So when, I pick up the rental from enterprise they were exceptional and the best Customer service ever. They probably could teach the sales rep how to talk to customers treat customers and how to be more professional. So many of you should know when you have a head concussion there can be good days and bad days and it's a process you're supposed to follow doctor's orders when you feel fatigued and tired your head hurts you're supposed to follow what the doctor says not the cells rap and rest and take care of yourself FIRST. So when the sales rep (F.E) 1st reached out to me he was a little bit more professional explain to me what the differences were said that they had several lenders to help get into vehicle and how good their vehicles were he made an appointment for 7 PM I told him that I would try because I didn't even know how long I would last that day unfortunately the concussion the pain from the total loss vehicle was a little bit more than I could handle . The way that it all played out is I received an email reminding me that I didn't keep the appointment I didn't think that he was a family member and I need to tell him where I was at and if it's just the way that he addressed it. The vehicle that I was the most interested in from a car dealer He called again I told him that I was in the process of narrowing down what I was going to try to get into. He stated how I didn't give him a fair chance unfortunately I reached out to him to let him know that I was sorry and I couldn't keep the appointment the day after but his aggressiveness and his rough rude personality is what turned me completely away from him. So once I replied back to him via email he reached out to me when I was leaving the car lot and I took the car and even though I still was in the process of waiting for the approval His exact words were in front of other sales rep at the car dealership his exact words were you're going to end up paying too much you didn't even give me a chance and then when it doesn't go through then it's going to require much work on my part because that's what people do all the time to go somewhere else and a ding your credit in the messes up stuff and then I have to work twice as hard to try to get you into a vehicle. I said well I'm sorry I can't tell you why I ended up at the dealership but I did and lesson learned . I mean what can I say , he was like you should of told me that's what happens all the time people go to the places that dealers screw up your credit and pull your credit and all this stuff and then it requires me to work harder and and you end up coming back to me and I was right and they were wrong so I told him that I felt as if there was nothing else to say, his reply was then why are we talking about this. I did not lose my temper I did tell him that I was on my way home to go rest because I have a head concussion again having to remind him i was injured and trying to recover , but he kept on so I hung up on him because I don't lose my temper. But what happened to the compassion of me recovering from an injury what happened to the professionalism of trying to let the customer speak and not be rude and shove you into a car what happened to not telling the customer that they made a dumb choice or wrong mistake. What's wrong with this picture but wait it doesn't end there after I hung up , on him but a few minutes later somebody else called back stating that me & the salesman had gotten off to a bad start , it doesn't matter who he was he clearly should not have called me to tell me anything about the salesman, the bottom line is he never should of spoken to me the way that he did.. listening that I wasn't interested and back down . And even if I didn't end up with a car I would never go there not to do business with him. Needless to say I came home that day took a hot shower had to apply ice packs because my head was pulsating and that little episode of his temper tantrum &not getting his way and irritating me the way that he did and for was telling me that I made a big mistake not OK.. I had to wait a couple of days to think of how I would post a review and address this. I am certain if he recalls who I am he will probably reach back out to me and that would be 10 times and professional. Our usual representative Hillary was not in office when I went in to get a new car and replace my totaled car. She paired me up with Samuel and he was phenomenal! He was able to get me out of the office THAT DAY with a car that I was extremely satisfied with and is easily within my price range. The car I bought was late to be delivered to Austin for inspection. Within a month the car would randomly not be able to start to which I soon found out was because they did not install the battery correctly. I met with Frankie the sales rep, very nice guy. I felt Frankie was a little pushy and told him I was looking for a car but wasn't ready to make a decision since this was the first place I was looking. I decided to test drive a car and he help me select one in my price range and when we got back he was ready to start paperwork insisting I will not find a better deal out there since I had lost my job and he could still help me get a car. Then we ran the numbers which were not that great and I told him I wanted to think about it over the weekend. Frankie ask if I could leave a deposit which I said that would be ok. Frankie also said if I took the car the deposit would go to the car he never said I would lose the deposit if I didn't take the car. Yes he had me initials a paper but the way it is worded is sneaky. I went to Enterprise since my company works daily with them and decided to give it one last try and was not disappointed. I let the rep know up front what I was looking to pay and what make and model I was interested. I let him know of my poor frustrating experiences with other dealers trying to sell me different makes and models with higher interest rates and no attention to my personal preferences. The rep understood and said he'd call me before the end of the week with an available car. I receive a call just 2 DAYS LATER and he tells me he has a car a year NEWER than I was looking, make and model I requested, in a color I preferred, FEWER miles AND!!!...$1500 CHEAPER than one I was looking into!!!! I finalized in a week and paid the exact amount I told him I would pay. They even waived my transfer fee! Super professional, no hassle, the officers even sat me down to help explain the paperwork I was about to sign BEFORE I signed. No one else does that!! I was a return customer to Enterprise car sales,but after my most recent experience - I'll NEVER go back. I completely agree with the other reviewer who said you can't trust them. I'd been looking to downsize from my mom-mobile so I was undecided whether I wanted to trade in my vehicle or purchase a second smaller one for my commute. Although all this was explained to my sales person - I don't think he heard a word I said. I explained the makes and models I was interested in purchasing in great detail (fuel economy, dependability, etc.). He recommended vehicles that didn't fit my criteria at all. When I finally located a vehicle online that fit my criteria, I contacted the salesperson to move forward with my purchase. The price he listed on my paperwork was MORE expensive than the online price. When I pointed that out to him, he claimed it was an "honest" mistake and blamed it on the online manager and said he'd give me the lower price. I couldn't shake the odd feeling I had and ultimately I didn't purchase the vehicle. After this experience, my confidence in Enterprise is GONE. I've experienced very poor customer service with their rental division and after this experience I won't do ANY business with Enterprise nor will I recommend them for either a car rental or used car purchase. read more

I would have given Enterprise 5 stars, but the paper work required to buy a car is very complicated. That out of the way, I can say they did great work. I like my 2011 2.5 L Nissan Altima although if you like a more quieter cab I suggest the Toyota Camry, my parents have one and it really simplifies driving. The Nissan Altima is more of a no frills drive for the purest who doesn't like all the power assist functions. On both the Toyota and the Nissan they put the oil filter way up to the left of the oil pan. Now I don't change my own oil anyways so it does not really bother me. I am guessing also that the Toyota's transmission is geared lower because I don't even know I am speeding in the Camry. If you like trucks I suggest the Ford F-150 XLT V6 for moving stuff. read more

They went beyond my expectation. I will continue to recommend Enterprise as the place to buy your next vehicle. The online special is for kelly blue book plus $500 for your trade in, pretty certain they totally manipulated the blue book value (left off vehicle features) and then took off even more $$ after that. Caught Detrich, the manager, holding another blue book print out for my car that was a thousand dollars more than the one he used for my value.
