I have to disagree with the other reviews. I changed dentists, and my new dentist referred me here to check out a root canal that he couldn't make out properly on X-ray. I came here. I first was given a fancy x-ray which I was told was not covered by insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket. Dr. Lea then came in, never talked to me, and informed me the root canal would have to be redone, and that it might take up to a year to heal. When I went to schedule it, I was told it's a special kind of root canal ("unstructured"?) where they can't guarantee the results. I asked the receptionist, why hasn't the doctor talked to me about this? She said she didn't know. While I was standing there, I heard the receptionist tell another patient the exact same thing, and he asked the same question.
I went to another endodontist for a second opinion. No fancy X-ray, and he asked for my previous x-rays from the original root canal. I was able to get those, he compared the before and after X-rays. Not only did I not need a new root canal, but the tooth was actually much better than it was before. It's healing. He did simple tests like applying ice to my gums to check for nerve damage, and called me to follow up.
I was left with the impression: Endodontic Solutions is a place trying to get your money, moving fast and telling people they need unnecessary expensive work. Go somewhere else! This office is needlessly fancy, and you'll understand why. read more
