In fact, it was the about the same as the Apple Store's but with none of the waiting time to get an appointment, not to mention the time I'd have spent waiting in the Apple Store even after I'd "checked in". His response was always swift, and coordinating the drop off and pick up was extremely easy. I got the computer back in half the time that I'd been expecting it, and not only had he fixed the issue I had identified, but he'd also just made it overall run MUCH better by doing some minor fixes, but stuff for me that I'd had no idea how to do. Honest, Fast, and Affordable Computer Repair!…read more I brought my laptop to Luchino Computer Solutions after it suddenly stopped charging. The team diagnosed the issue quickly--it turned out to be a damaged power jack--and had it fixed the same day! Their service was professional, and they took the time to explain what was wrong without using confusing tech jargon. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work, and I appreciated that there were no surprise fees. It's hard to find computer repair shops that are both trustworthy and affordable, but Luchino really delivered on both fronts. If you need reliable tech support, this is the place to go! Unfortunately, my computer began to slow down and became very unresponsive, which made me extremely anxious since I don't have an IT team to turn to. I found Acamar Computer Services on Yelp and decided to contact Evan based on his excellent reviews. Everything I read was accurate! After explaining the urgency of my situation, Evan was able to see me that afternoon. During the consultation, I mentioned that I was prepared to hear that I needed to buy a new computer, considering I had purchased mine in 2021. However, after just a few minutes, Evan informed me that my hardware was in good condition. He only needed to address the "software bloat" to get my computer back in order. He also assured me that once this was done, I would likely have another two years before needing to worry about replacing my computer. We spoke on a Friday, and he kindly asked if I needed my computer back over the weekend or if I was okay leaving it for him to start working on it the following Monday afternoon. I chose to wait until Monday so I could finish a few more tasks. I dropped off my computer on Monday evening and picked it up the next day. Evan took the time to explain in detail everything he had done and how each change improved my computer. Evan is extremely talented, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. His pricing is very competitive and well worth every dollar spent. His primary focus is on delivering exceptional customer service, which is exactly what Acamar provides. I informed Evan that he is now part of "The Chrysalys Team" and will be my go-to IT professional for all my computer needs moving forward. I cannot recommend Acamar highly enough. Evan is a lifesaver!

I am not technical at all, and in fact I secretly hate technology because things always go wrong and it takes forever to problem solve them and I have absolutely no patience for that. This move was no exception - if it wasn't AT&T not showing up for a week to connect the phone lines and internet, it was the inexplicable failure of my fax to not receive faxes even though I could send them. Not only did Daemon problem solve all my problems in stride, he seemed to actually enjoy the challenge and really brightened my day. He communicated articulately and often about what he was doing and how things were going - I was fully confident in his abilities during the whole process. Although I think it would have been funny if Daemon was like Moss or Roy from the show The IT Crowd - socially inept geeks who get into wacky mishaps - I appreciate that Daemon was super personable and easy to talk to.
