Luckily as you may have already guessed from my 5 stars review it was an entirely painless and stress-free process. I'll start off with my initial meeting with the Roof Evaluator a man named "John Scott". I can safely say that my entire conversation and evaluation with Mr. Scott was a delight, from the beginning he was an exceptional conversationalist and gave me (someone who was experiencing their first major Home maintenance project) not only an amazing price for the materials (Owens Corning Architectural Shingles, and Titanium Underlayment) for my two story 3450 Ish square foot home, but also talked me through the entire pricing process in order to make sure I knew where the price was actually coming from. Like all of you Homeowners should (If you haven't already) make sure you acquire at least 3 pricing estimates from separate companies in order to fully understand what exactly your project cost should be). I bring this up now because previously to acquiring my estimate from "Precision General Contracting" I acquired 2 previous quotes; 1 From "TIDAL Remodeling" and another from RC Roofing and my final quote from Precision General, I will leave the actual numerical values to the quotes blank (For personal Privacy) but I will say that TIDAL's quote was nearly Twice the amount from Precision General (The salesman responsible for selling me the roof was using my ignorance of my situation to his advantage at the time and trying to extract as much money from me as possible something that Mr. Scott did NOT do) Moving on, after acquiring the quote along with a great price for solar panel removal and reinstallation (Which unlike most other companies Precision has a qualified Subcontractor who does all their removal and installation needs), the actual job was scheduled for around 2 weeks later (which is generally fast for Roofing jobs such as this.) Now I will freely admit there was a little issue on the first day of the job, due to some misinformation from a weather app they had to postpone the start date by a day (Which is good considering even a small chance of rain when you entire roof has be torn off would cause tons of housing damage, there's no point in risking it!) What I will say is that the following 3 days (Which is all it took from start to finish) they worked were some of the hottest in my area, around 90- 95 degree cloudless sunny weather, and the workers still worked 8 Full hours and got everything done in an orderly and efficient manner, from the 1st day with the tear off and trash removal, including but not limited to 2 Layers of shingles, and around 200 feet of wood that needed to be torn out due to old water/ Termite damage. To the second day where they installed all the new wood Soffit / Fascia/ Drip Edge/ and the Titanium Underlayment, and the Third final day where they installed all the tiles in an efficient manner. (Something else I should mention would be that the workers would end every day by cleaning up all the trash and Debree from the workday, ensuring the grounds were as clean or more so than they found it.) Now here is where I would like to leave some advice for any and all peoples who plan to get a new Roof Installation, make sure you acquire the paint and primer before the job begins so you can paint all the wood before it is fully installed. (This will save you a ton of time and money in the future because although the workers do paint and prime the top half of all the new wood, it will be your responsibility to do the bottom half) another heads up that the Wood cost is in fact Extra because you never know how much you need until the roof itself has been checked from underneath the roofing material. (I am not entirely sure how much on average wood costs are in San Diego, but Precision did seem a tad pricy. But considering the great deal I got on the Roof itself I am entirely satisfied with the ending price) Besides the expeditious manner in with the job was done, I would also like to mention the Two employees of "Precision General Contracting" who not only helped me with any and all questions and concerns I had Before, During, and after the Project. The First would be a "Mr. Christian Strasser" who was the Foreman / Middleman for the entirety of the job, stopping by on sight or calling me for any issues or just to update my on the job itself, he also saved me the hassle of mailing or dropping off the payment (A Cashier's Check) to their address so I could acquire the receipts and Lien Wavers in an efficient and timely manner. Effectively going out of his way at the drop of a hat at times. The Second would be a Miss "Carly" who was the one who took care of all the incoming calls to the company, she made sure to not only answer every question I had to the best of her ability but also put up with my back-to-back calls whenev

We worked with TR Construction between August 2025 and March 2026 (8 mo) on a major interior…read morerenovation spanning multiple trades (structural, trenching, plumbing, electrical, tiling, drywalling, painting, etc.). We did demo, design, and permitting separately, so I can't speak to those aspects, but I believe TR's team can handle all of those internally as well if desired. Overall, I'll start by saying that TR has assembled a great team of thoughtful, knowledgeable, and thorough folks across all trades. I can see why they've been around for over 20 years. Along with this, cost was extremely reasonable and straight to the point, in contrast with the many other GCs we screened during our initial bidding process. From start to finish TR's team was highly responsive and easy to work with, and in several instances went above and beyond what I thought were our agreed upon expectations. Our finished home turned out very close to how we initially envisioned, with probably any differences being our own changing opinions around certain design choices. If I were to offer a few minor critiques, they would be the following , though I believe these are generalizable to the construction industry in general rather than TR, specifically: 1) Timetables/clear schedules can be an occasional friction point, though our PM, Joshua, Teresa & the rest of the scheduling team did their best to give updates when they could. 2) In general, I would strongly recommend homeowners to have a basic understanding of how different trades work. Throughout our process some hiccups did come up that needed to be pointed out by us. However, TR and team were extremely quick and thorough about rectifying once brought up - which we really appreciated. Overall - would highly recommend TR, his team, and his subcontractors, and I'm sure we will be working with them again in the future.

Victor and Hector were outstanding. Their professionalism, kindness and desire to do the right things were so refreshing. Our project was spot places that the builder had not done a good job on and they knew exactly what to do. They ensured us it would match and they even took into account what part of the house got hit by the sun more than other parts - complete care :). This job was completely different and involved a remodel where we wanted custom shelves and new windows added in a side room. We worked with Michael again as well as Haley to design the space. We loved the results, and were satisfied with all of the team who were pleasant, professional and did fantastic work. Michael and Haley kept us updated on current events and kept the line of communication open. It was great having them drive the work. In addition, company representatives regularly contacted us to ensure we were happy and if we had any concerns. We will be back!

We bought a house 2 years ago and the sellers had some pretty eccentric taste (see photos). We…read morewanted to modernize the primary bathroom, and got 4 quotes from various contractors. We went with Forever Builders, who also did some demo for us when we first moved in. Among other things, we 1) stripped and replaced the floor, 2) demoed the built-in tub and replaced it with a soaking tub, 3) replaced the vanity countertops, 4) installed a chandelier and sconces, and 5) installed a custom shower door. Steve was our project manager for the entire project, which took 3-4 weeks. We are so incredibly pleased with the result, and just as happy with the service and professionalism we received from Steve and his team. Steve managed every aspect of this complex project flawlessly, stopped by frequently to check progress and QC each phase of work, and was consistently responsive and professional. He took my calls on nights and weekends, and I always felt taken care of and valued as an important customer--such a rare occurrence these days. The craftsmanship was flawless too. I am a detail-oriented person and tend to demand perfection, and Forever Builders exceeded my expectations. As a bonus, they also installed a floating vanity for me in a secondary bathroom, as a complimentary part of the project. Since then, I have also asked Steve and Forever Builders to patch up a huge portion of ceiling drywall at my mom's house that was screwed up by another company, and they did an amazing job with that as well. You will not find a more consistently exceptional company. I'm a customer for life.

02/13/2026 Ben…read morecontinues to say their "inspection" found no active leak and claims the water must be coming from an exterior outlet or prior waterproofing. Based on that storyline, they're refusing to take responsibility for the flooring damage. The windows were installed without permits. I brought in four independent inspections, including three licensed general contractors and one home inspector. All confirmed active water intrusion and pointed to the window installation as the likely source. Despite that, Forever Builders continues to deny, redirect, and avoid addressing the actual installation. The floors never had water intrusion before the remodel. The problem started after their work. Instead of owning it and fixing it, they've chosen to argue technicalities and wait for CSLB to force the issue. For a company that promotes itself as 5-star, this has been anything but. When serious defects surface, there's no urgency, no accountability, and no effort to stand behind the work. Just excuses. That is not 5-star service. That is not what integrity looks like.

Ultimately I chose ADR because of my project manager Darrell who was easy to work with, attentive to my needs, paid attention to details, and provided helpful tips and suggestions throughout the experience. For example, he had suggested MSI and Reece Bath & Kitchen to help select materials, and I was able to buy products from Reece Bath & Kitchen that were priced lower than if I bought them from big box stores. I had a very specific vision with choosing the materials, updating the layout, and paying attention to the details -- and Darrell made sure everything turned out right. His crew was very professional and did an excellent job with taking care of the details in the renovation project. I was most impressed when they laid down thick cardboard on the floor to prevent any scratching during the construction. They really take care of their clients. It's also re-assuring to know that they have a 15 year warranty. After the initial install of my kitchen sink faucet, I noticed a drip leak the next day, and the crew immediately came back to address the problem. We've had no leak since then, and everything is working great.
