Just posting a second review for "Need for Build" contractors showing off the completed project. Danny, the owner, our program manager, Osher and the entire design/build team all came together, seamlessly matching the existing features with all the new additions. We started with a hill erosion issued that needed a retaining wall with French drains. The design and execution effectively addressed the erosion problems and drainage issues, while the aesthetically pleasing wall emerged as the central feature of the entire backyard. Osher was very thoughtful, he knew I was going to be installing all 25 landscape lights by myself after the contactors were finished. Osher suggested that his team could skip the gluing process every six feet on the cap stone, this would allow me to easily install the landscape lights without having to drill holes for the light wires of each light. It made the job much faster/easier, this is what you get with "Need for Build". You also get a team that cares about you and your projects, and they not only stand up tall behind their words, you can literally see it in their finished projects, take a look at the pictures for yourself and you will see the magic of "Need for Build". Please look at the pictures of the completed projects including the beautiful nighttime ambiances provided from the gorgeous wall/tree lights in direct harmony with the huge fire pit and the extended Arizona Rock wall. The area is now the perfect place for grandkids, pool parties, grilled burgers and fire pit smores for desert. Thanks Need For Build

I recently hired Need For Build to redesign and execute a full backyard sanctuary of my dreams and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. From our first meeting, Mike Watts took the time to really listen. He asked thoughtful questions about how I envisioned using the space, what style I loved, and what practical needs I had. He presented a design that struck the perfect balance of functionality and beauty, weaving in the features I'd been dreaming of and deeply tailored to me.The build quality is outstanding. The crew was professional, punctual, and respectful of my property. The craftsmanship shows in every detail. My backyard is now nothing short of my personal oasis. It's become my favorite place to relax, entertain, and unwind. Every time I walk outside, I feel a sense of calm and joy. If you're looking for a company that will actually deliver on the dream, Mike Watts and Need For Build is absolutely worth it. Thank you to the entire team for bringing my dream backyard to life. -- Kara Brem

Everything went well. Good planning and execution. The workers are very good. They followed whats on the drawing. We did not feel rushed. Thank you so much Need For Build!!! I look forward on having your company again on our next project.

Need for Build transformed my front yard from what was essentially a parking lot of paver stones, to a beautiful oasis! The difference is so stark that many of our neighbors have complimented the work. Isaac, Jonathan, and Mikey were a great team to work with. Working with Need for Build was easy and collaborative. Isaac sent over a proposed landscape design, we worked together to finalize it, and I submitted it to my HOA within a few short days. Due to the way the company staffs its projects, Need for Build was able to get me on calendar within 2 days of my HOA approving my landscape design. During the project, the team was efficient and asked questions when appropriate, to make sure I would be happy with the final product. I was able to give them some direction as the project was ongoing, and they were open to tweaks without issue. They completed the project within 2 weeks--which is exactly within the timeframe they proposed--and we are so happy with the end result. See for yourself! I would absolutely hire these guys again with all my home renovation needs.

Finished master bathroom project. With new countertops, sinks, faucets, painted cabinets, textured and painted walls.

They worked very hard to make sure they understood what we wanted and where we wanted it. We are picky and didn't know what we were doing. They were patient and walked us through all the options, with good suggestions and ideas. At times they really went out of their way to give us exactly what we wanted, rerouting vents and pipes so we could have niches and medicine cabinets exactly where we wanted them. All in all the most positive experience I've had with a contractor.

Ultimately I chose ADR because of my project manager Darrell who was easy to work with, attentive to my needs, paid attention to details, and provided helpful tips and suggestions throughout the experience. I had a very specific vision with choosing the materials, updating the layout, and paying attention to the details -- and Darrell made sure everything turned out right. His crew was very professional and did an excellent job with taking care of the details in the renovation project. I was most impressed when they laid down thick cardboard on the floor to prevent any scratching during the construction. They really take care of their clients. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Our first contact was our designer, John De Luca, who listened to our vision and brought it to life with his ideas for both layout and functionality. He maintained complete control of the project from the very beginning keeping everyone on task and ensuring that even the smallest details were handle with care. The entire team - including Ben, Ashely, Chris and Tim - was professional, efficient, and consistently made sure we were happy throughout the process. Communication was clear, and we always knew what to expect. Kim and Edwin from Scanco were excellent master craftsmen. Their pride in their work and attention to detail really stood out in the finished project. Marcos did a fantastic job on our backsplash and was accommodating when we made a change along the way. Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.
