French dip

We've had four trips to this establishment in the last two weeks. I love supporting local businesses. What is stellar about this place is the people - Chuck has a great team who hold it together, even when the place gets jammed! The food is generally very good and we love the variety - burgers, steaks, fish, pizza, and bbq. Their salads are huge! We also love the special nights with live music on the patio. Special shout out to Tamara who served our party of 20 for my birthday. We had made the reservation weeks in advance and Chuck offered us a special menu for the group. So it rained and we were a bit cramped indoors (not their fault), and the food came out in groups. The one disappointing part is that the two 9-year-olds were served last. Some items were fabulous and some were okay. The wings and onion ring appetizers were really popular. Overall, they hit more than they miss. And we like the people. So we will be back.

This place was fantastic. The vibes is totally cool and live that it's a local spot. The food was amazing, the drinks were great as well. Our server was extremely friendly. I would most definitely tell people to come here. 10/10. Everything we had we cooked perfectly and taste was on point too! Not what you would expect from the outside!

It's mainly a bar inside, but the prime rib is great! We'd rather be outside with the view if it weren't winter time. The bartender and cook are very friendly.

We enjoyed a great meal this afternoon here. The food, service and ambiance was great! I'm sure we will be going back! The menu has a great variety to choose from. Shannon did a great job! Turners from GA

Went in for lunch. Ordered fish and chips because nothing else really interested me and I was not going to pay $18. for a Chicken Ceasar salad in a Dive bar. The fish resembled two overdone Giant fishsticks. Like long tubes? And first time I've had salty tartar sauce. No lemon for the fish and no straw for the drink. No silverware either, had to ask for after my food arrived. Keep driving, the next restaurant is only 50 miles away.

Fun local bar/restaurant just off highway 89 a half-hour north of Yellowstone. The inside is very unique with lots of taxidermy and other Western flare (I am a tourist so that part was super fun!). We enjoyed our take-out meal during the Covid pandemic. A large pizza had us full with plenty of leftovers. The crust was a bit soft but it was very cheesy. The wings were breaded and very crispy, kind of like fried chicken. Definitely worth a stop on your way into or out of the park.

Laid back and casual atmosphere with servers who have reliable recommendations. Burgers are huge, and onion rings are the bomb

They even have vegan cheese, which was such a nice surprise! The food had so much flavor and the portions were perfect. Plus, the NA margaritas were super yummy. This is definitely something Bozeman needed, and I'm so excited to finally have a great Mexican restaurant in town!

When we arrived around 5 p.m., I noticed a sign near the entrance that read, "Everyone is Welcome Here except I.C.E." with additional commentary beneath it. Seeing that felt politically charged and out of place for a restaurant, especially when all we wanted was a relaxed dinner with friends. After discussing it, our group decided to leave. I politely told the hostess we were leaving because of the sign, and she replied, "Oh, you must've voted for Trump. We believe everyone is welcome here." I responded that politics shouldn't be part of dining out, and she said, "You can take your business elsewhere." We did just that and went to Alberto's instead, where the food was great and the staff was kind and professional. If you're looking for a welcoming environment focused on good food and service rather than political statements, I recommend Alberto's over Tres Toros.

Old Saloon was closed for the first half of the week we were there (along with all the other food options) but we managed to pop in Wednesday night after a long, exhausting day. We found half of the dining area was closed so there were only about 6 tables available, plus bar seating (we had 8 people). Service was ok, but we did have to ask for refills each time we needed one and for sugar when it was forgotten. The menu was super limited (different than what their online menu showed which was disappointing because we went for certain things and none ended up being on the menu) and really expensive for what we had to choose from (ex. $4 to add jalapeño and $4 to add bacon to a burger- insane). The food was not great. I got the Big Sky (grilled chicken sandwich with bacon) and it was dry/overcooked. Asked for it with the ranch on the side (I don't like ranch) and it was put on it and on the side. Sweet potato fries were all stuck together and just not great. Overall, maybe we caught them on a bad day, but it was the worst stop we had on our trip. We got food, we ate, it did the truck, but it was over priced and just meh.
