The specials were Ramen and Ribs, both portions was very generous, I got the steak po boy, such good flavor I ate everything there was nothing left. Honestly this is one of the best places to eat in Gardiner, Montana after finding this place we kept eating here. Hours were 12:30-9 so by the time we got there after driving Yellowstone it was still open. They had picnic tables for you to sit at while you are or you could take it to go. The place was very nice. Hidden gem right outside the town of Gardiner. Around mile marker 5 north of town sitting on the side of the highway. The food was delicious. The options were surprising for a food truck set up as there were lots of healthy and unexpected dish options made with lots of fresh ingredients! The quality is high. It was such a refreshing change from the types of foods we felt we had been limited to during our trip and with our budget. Prices were very reasonable for what we got here. We loved the ambiance as the sun was going down! Definitely need to be careful walking up to it from the parking area, especially after dark, as it's not level ground to the truck. They had just enough lighting to help you see the path up to the truck. There was one table set up on the level area beyond the truck that was easy to get to (on flat ground) but the other tables required navigating a couple steps down or around a few little rocks. We didn't mind it at all as it adds to the unique vibe, but wanted to point that out for others who may have mobility issues. The parking off the highway in front was very spacious (plenty of room for RVs) and lots of people were picking up food for takeout and eating inside their vehicles as it had become a little chilly after the sun had set. Delicious food that is huge! The food truck serves fresh food that is made to order. It's on the pricey side so thankfully the portion and quality make up for it. There's tables with umbrellas set up so you can eat your food right there. I ordered the bahn mi wrap with chicken. The chicken was very moist and tender. The wrap had rice, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and a teriyaki like sauce on it. I wanted more sauce on the wrap because it was so good. There was a little more rice than I like. We also ordered a side of fries. The fries were crisp and delicious on their own. My husband ordered a shrimp poor boy. The bread it came on with nice and soft with a flakey crust. I almost wished I had asked to substitute the roll for the tortilla on my wrap. The roll was that good. My husband said there was a little more mustard than he preferred on the sandwich. read more

Stopped for dinner on our way out of Yellowstone. We decided this is one of the best dinners we have had on a 2 week road trip. We each had the pulled pork sandwich and were lamenting that we hadn't gotten the ribs and the staff overheard and brought one for us to try - fantastic and huge! We were worried about the size but they would have been plenty for a full meal. There are plenty of picnic tables and we watched the sunset and enjoyed some beverages purchased at the nearby Sinclair. They also had great vibey music playing. Highly recommend! read more

Legit food truck just outside of town. The food is better than any of the restaurants we dined at in town. Portions are generous and price is right (for a tourist town it's a deal). Alright, the food probably is more like 3.5-4 stars. We were really craving for Asian food after eating hamburgers and hotdogs 3-4 meals in a row. This is the only place that serves rice and noodle in Gardiner and it saved my day! That's why I'm giving it 5 stars. The food truck is about 2 miles away from the town and has some benches for you to sit. The rice bowl is really good and I would recommend the bison one if you haven't tried bison before. The ramen is just so so and the noodle is actually rice noodle rather than ramen noodle. Definitely not the Japanese ramen you are thinking about. read more

I went there in summer, 2019. Nice outside picnic style eating area. I had a noodle, which is very American and not bad. It is not "ramen" at all, but it's very good option of food. If you expect Japanese Ramen or something, you will be disappointed of, but if not it is a great variety from Pizza, burger and steak food. Saw the good reviews and decided to stop by and pick up dinner while in Gardiner. The Bear's Blood slushy was good and perfect for a warm summer day. The food was not great. We had the ribs, rice bowl with chicken, fish & chips, and ramen. The rice bowl was the best of the three but we would rate it 6 out of 10 (good amount of rice and chicken). The ribs were tough. The asian fusion style ramen was beautifully presented but should not be called ramen. The rice noodles are not meant to be in ramen. The broth was hard to taste or detect since there was so little of it. The pork was tender but so salty that it was not edible. It seemed like the chef was trying to mesh together a Vietnamese rice vermicelli bowl with the concept of ramen but it was not executed well. read more

We stopped here for dinner last night after a day at the park. The [grilled] shrimp po boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Not sure how much more descriptive I can get than that. It was a work of art. My wife had a ramen bowl that was equally delicious. Driving a few miles out of Gardiner to find this place was the best decision we made on our trip. Very friendly service, too. I was really excited about eating here, something fun and different. It's a stationary food truck. There are picnic tables to eat on, with a roof over several of the tables. We ordered pork nachos, buffalo wings, bottle of water, huckleberry lemonade. The lemonade was room temperature and nothing impressive about the flavor. When I asked for a cup of ice, he looked at me oddly and said there was no ice and apologized. The bottle of water wasn't cold either. The buffalo wing had a slight Asian flavor but they were quite bland. The nachos were pretty good. Much better than anything else we had. This meal definitely was not worth $28. I would suggest skipping this place if in Gardiner, outside Yellowstone. read more

This place attracted me because their Yelp page says they're lgbtq friendly, which made me assume a more chill environment and that's what we got. Reggae music and outdoor seating with beautiful views. Two gentleman were so friendly and extremely quick. I ordered their ramen with veggies and the taco special with chicken. Tacos were to die for but I got pretty full fast with the huckleberry lemonade (amazing) and could barely touch the ramen! Took that home though. Hubs got the fish and chips and the rice bowl with chicken, coconut curry, pickled onion, mushroom and arugula. I wish I could give this zero stars. My husband and I came here on our way out of Yellowstone and it was disgusting. We got pork nachos and the cheese was cold and there was barbecue sauce on them even though it doesn't say that on the menu. We stayed in gardiner for 7 days and the past 4 days we are tired of burgers, pizza and breakfast offered by our lodging. Prices are high as expected as this is a small town in the middle of nowhere. Finally found them on yelp and went over, staff are friendly and as for the food they are one of the best in gardiner conpared to the other restaurants and food trucks. Wow...we roll into Gardiner not too late but not too early on a Sat night. We look at the reviews of the restaurants in town and cannot believe how many poorly rated restaurants there are in this town, and it appears from the looks of the food and how the reviews are structured there's some definite truth to this. Soooo after wasting time trying to find something in town...we see this food truck Grizzly Grille a little ways out of town is rated fairly well and is open until 10. We call first and no answer. We think 'hey there are just swamped' so we head over...and there are no lights on and its dark, and we see they are closed. We were there about an hour and 20 mins before they were supposed to close. Long story short we had nothing to eat that night but the few car snacks we had. This is a horrible food culture (poor quality, high price, terrible hours) for one of the most beautiful places on earth. The town leaders should be ashamed. read more

This place was chosen mainly because it was within walking distance of our lodging. But it was really good. We had pizza and the waitress had our order confused. In her defense it wasn't a straight forward off the menu choice, and we distracted her by asking her where she was from (Turkey) and talking about her home country. We decided not to say anything but just eat what she had brought and it was good. We would have eaten breakfast here the next day but it wasn't open. read more

A great lunch spot with a beautiful view. I ordered the pork ramen-- the portion was very reasonable and the flavors are good. It is not the type of ramen you would expect from a Japanese style ramen shop. It comes in a much lighter (less fatty) broth that seems to be flavored with soy sauce. a bit too salty for my taste, however. The pork is tender and has a shredded texture.
