Mocha Monkey Shake

Super friendly staff! They recommended the Mocha Monkey smoothie. Wow! Spot on of exactly what I was needing. Ample parking right out front and nice music to listen to. It's right along the road so such a convenient spot. Skip the hustle and bustle down the street and come here!

Stopped here on our way to the park. Order at the counter then grab a seat! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted outdoors due to the amazing weather. The food was great and plentiful. Would definitely revisit again!

This place is delicious! We ordered the biscuits and gravy and added bacon to it. Servings are big so I'm glad we shared. We also couldn't pass up one of the cinnamon rolls. Oh my gosh they are so yummy! Probably one of the best I have had. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Coffee was great too, comes in a big mug. If we were staying 2 nights we would definitely come back tomorrow for breakfast. Staff was also very friendly!

I couldn't find a yelptastic page for this business so had to add one specifically to give them a 5 star rating! They closed at 1130 and still let us order at 1120, I felt so bad but the ladies were so nice about it since we didn't know! I had breakfast tacos with hash browns, eggs, your choice of meat, cheese (no salsa for me). They were EXCELLENT. I chose andouille sausage for meat it was a bit spicy but so good! Hubs liked his scramble as well but I think it was a little small for my big man. Anyways, probably going here tomorrow before we leave town. The town of Gardiner is super cute and this place fits that perfectly. Young ladies working super nice and considerate even asking husband if he wanted more coffee even though they were technically closed. We will be back whenever we get lucky enough to return to the area. Ok EDIT: when I came back to see if this business had been added, I was directed to the apparent already there Yelp page! ... however it was not searchable did not come up in search bar with many different attempts. and I'm wondering if people report businesses "permanently closed" when really they are only closed for the season... which is pretty much every business in the winter around Yellowstone ... if you see the most recent review after mine is over 2 years ago. Confused, is there a way to avoid this I wonder?

If you need to get energized in the morning before you go visit Yellowstone, then you have to come here to get some drinks and breakfast. Love their eggs and hash browns. Hash browns seems like fresh hash browns or they don't overcook it because you are actually biting into potatoes texture. Big portion, chill atmosphere and you can see the mountains through their roll down garage window. Service is fast. Pancake the huge. Size of the plate but the one I have seems like it is not cook all the way because the middle is sticky and gooey. Everything else is good though

Best breve mocha! Who'd a thunk it in Gardiner MT

Quality food, very busy so,understandably, took awhile for food. good atmosphere. Best breve mocha in a long time. Friendly service The pancakes looked amazing...I'll try those next time.

Vanilla Latte with Oatmilk. 10/10

What a great breakfast spot in Gardiner. You place your order at the counter and find your seat. Their Lattes are very delicious and come in cute cups! We got the Old Faithful breakfast (traditional) and Breakfast tacos with sausage. All were excellent at a fair price. My husband said the eggs were cooked perfectly. Hashbrowns were a little oilier than I would like.

You order at counter. Food was just okay. Pancakes were big but very dry and dense. Cinnamon bun was good!

I believe it was around $15-17 per foot long sandwich and so worth it with it lasting us all day. The bread is soft and not too much, with a generous amount of fillings and meat inside. On our last day, tired of snacks from the grocery store for breakfast, we looked for a restaurant to have a real meal and found the Deli very close to our hotel. As I mentioned, subs at lunch were great and, since they are open for breakfast, we ate there. Not many tables inside but most of their business is takeout so no issues there. Breakfast offerings are limited but great. I had a bacon/egg/cheese croissant and fishing partner had the waffles. Both highly recommended. Other items offered included omelets which we did not try. If we were thinking correctly we would have grabbed a couple subs for lunch and regretted this oversight later in the day!

There is a shelf right next to the cash register where you can grab whichever ones you want and bring it back to your table. We were already trying these before we had our food. The cafe itself is super cute and cozy with plants all around and different pieces of art. They even sell items from local artists including beef tallow lotion and earrings. They have a clean bathroom and an outdoor eating area. They have a vast menu for lunch where the sandwiches are names after dogs and a smaller menu for breakfast. We go there around 11 and were able to order from both so unsure if there is a time limit for either. The staff were so sweet and gave their recommendations and even though it's a cafe, they will bring out your food for you when it's ready. We did still bring our dishes back to the counter, unsure how they generally do that though. We asked for pickles and they kindly gave us some. The burritos were huge and filling but the sandwiches themselves were also good. Unsure what names were but I didn't love the one with the carrots in them. The staff recommended the breakfast sandwich with the biscuit, and although it was good, the biscuit was not the best choice. It broke so easily and made a mess. Unsure of the name of the drink but it was like a lemonade and it was delicious. Definitely would come back and try more hot sauce though

There is a variety of artwork, from fun posters to beautiful nature photos along the walls. For the dinner service, we also appreciated the candlelight feel with instrumental pop music in the background. We stayed primarily in the dining area but also noticed that the restaurant appears to have a bar and maybe casino in the backroom? A huge plus is a souvenir shop featuring tons of Huckleberry products next door. Now on to the food! We were very impressed. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and I ordered the bison burger. The servers were all so friendly and kind and super helpful, recommending the bison to be cooked medium. The food portions were generous, the fries were crispy, and the bison burger was juicy with the right amount of tomato, lettuce, pickles, and melted Swiss cheese to make the flavors pop. Could you tell how much we loved the food? To top it all off, we ordered dessert and had the most delicious Huckleberry cobbler with Huckleberry ice cream. I asked the waitress if that was too much Huckleberry, and she said the ice cream was a hit -- it really made the dessert. Oddly, it was reminiscent of breakfast, but in the best way. The cobbler was warm, the Granola was crunchy, and the ice cream was cool and sweet. The medley of textures honestly made this the best dessert I've had this year. Hats off to the Yellowstone Mine staff and chefs for making the start of our trip so memorable!

While small in size and selection, GSG (solely an acronym and not meant to sound like a new street…read moredrug) is the closest shop to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Since addresses are practically non-existent in Gardiner, MT (check out Google Maps if you don't believe me), just go all the way to the far west end of the main shopping strip on Park Street or simply ask one of the locals. GSG is a gift shop with a lot of key chains, bumper stickers, knick-knacks and cute children's t-shirts. Next door, like all the other souvenir shops in Gardiner, is a little cafe selling sweets and coffee. GSG's cafe seems to be the only cafe in town to actually have locals in it drinking their coffees while passing countless hours of the day away (most likely gossiping about own townies and homely, outdoorsy tourists). I recommend Yellowstone Gifts & Sweets down the street but both stores have different items for sale unlike many other tourist towns.
