So I ordered this burrito today. It had hashbrowns, beans, salsa, cheese, ham, and egg wrapped in a tortilla for $11 for some reason with all that stuff in it, it still had no flavor. Order at the counter, kind of cozy like your own trailer home.

I only got a cold brew with the suggested flavor combo of shortbread and brown sugar, but this place is such a cute calm atmosphere. They do breakfast and lunch and have all kinds of fun things to look at and purchase. What I loved most was the local feel. They have pictures of local dogs that they named their sandwiches after, they have books for purchase and one was about the wolves in Yellowstone and written by someone who at least frequents the area if not a local person. (complete assumption) There were plants and just a cozy place. When we go back to Yellowstone we will be stopping by for some food and I will update them, but they put coffee ice in the cold brew! What?! I have never had a place do that before. Love it. The service was great too. Very friendly.

Great food. Good variety for everyone in our family. Service is excellent. The workers are friendly and helpful. The cafe provides a very welcoming vibe. Also utilizes their space by providing local artist space to sell their work of art.

Came in the morning at 7:50am, as Yelp said open at 7am. The owner changed the open hours to 8am without telling the world. Standing in the freezing cold with my kid. The owner refused to let us in even 5 minutes to open, and said it's store policy. I don't appreciate the hospitality.

We are staying close by and tried this place for lunch. It's a small place with dine in and outdoor seating. My son got the Cooper sandwich which consist of ham, cheese, turkey, genoa, spinach on a tomato wrap. My wife had the Bella which is roast beef, cheese and got her in a gluten free bread. I got the Banjo which is turkey, roasted red pepper, chipotle dressing and spinach on focaccia bread. Our sandwiches were really well made and you can taste the love. Our sandwiches had depth and just hit the spot. Very charming place and highly recommended.

I believe it was around $15-17 per foot long sandwich and so worth it with it lasting us all day. The bread is soft and not too much, with a generous amount of fillings and meat inside. On our last day, tired of snacks from the grocery store for breakfast, we looked for a restaurant to have a real meal and found the Deli very close to our hotel. As I mentioned, subs at lunch were great and, since they are open for breakfast, we ate there. Not many tables inside but most of their business is takeout so no issues there. Breakfast offerings are limited but great. I had a bacon/egg/cheese croissant and fishing partner had the waffles. Both highly recommended. Other items offered included omelets which we did not try. If we were thinking correctly we would have grabbed a couple subs for lunch and regretted this oversight later in the day!

While small in size and selection, GSG (solely an acronym and not meant to sound like a new street…read moredrug) is the closest shop to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Since addresses are practically non-existent in Gardiner, MT (check out Google Maps if you don't believe me), just go all the way to the far west end of the main shopping strip on Park Street or simply ask one of the locals. GSG is a gift shop with a lot of key chains, bumper stickers, knick-knacks and cute children's t-shirts. Next door, like all the other souvenir shops in Gardiner, is a little cafe selling sweets and coffee. GSG's cafe seems to be the only cafe in town to actually have locals in it drinking their coffees while passing countless hours of the day away (most likely gossiping about own townies and homely, outdoorsy tourists). I recommend Yellowstone Gifts & Sweets down the street but both stores have different items for sale unlike many other tourist towns.

Owner Jerry is great, he makes an awesome specialty coffee as compared to the pharmacy/coffee shop next door. Nice quaint sitting area, a full view of park entrance arch and the mountain range ahead. Think bean nachos but with fries instead of tortilla chips. The kids liked the chicken strips and fries quite a lot. I loved the bison burger, and was glad I ordered it cowboy style with bacon and grilled onions. Very cute cowboy decor and nice classic country music playing. It was fun.

Its like they torn a single piece of bacon into thirds, and called it 4 slices. 3.The scrambled eggs were under done. 4. Also, microwave the sausage a bit more, please. 5. Coffee was lukewarm and flavorless. 6. All the silverware was on the table. More than just for the seating, but enough for the day. Nice way to share germs, and ensure no one has a clean fork. Have I had a worse breakfast? Yes. Dehydrated eggs in boy scouts. But they some how made real eggs (I could tell by the shell) taste like bad powdered eggs. I'm still trying to identify the after taste. Maple maybe? I won't be back there. I'm sure I can find better food elsewhere, there at least two other places near it that serve breakfast, and the market sells protein bars. This is the kind of touristy place that gives a town a bad rap. Overcharging for bad food and hoping to get away with it.
