    Chicken breast Roulade

Loved the location, menu and wait staff! Very accommodating & friendly service staff. Our party ordered the wedge salad plain ( asked for only lettuce, tomatoes & dressing on the side) emery house salad which was fresh & very tasty, emery clam chowder ( large portion & seasoned well), twin fillets by two at our table & both were enjoyed & the filets were very tender. Finally tried the chicken breast roulade which was delicious- sufficient amount of each ingredient & cooked to perfection. We visited during the week so not very crowded. Loved having time to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Two floors & lots of tables & booths to accommodate varying party sizes. Love that they have a seasonal menu. Too full to try the desserts but perhaps will try on our next visit.

Stopped in on a Friday for a quick drink and appetizer. We showed up around 5:15 and were the first ones there, but it filled up pretty quickly. Happy hour on drinks only, specialty cocktails were $11. We had the rum punch and old fashioned, both were well balanced and tasty. But the real star was the pork belly bao buns. They were fantastic! The buns were steamed to perfection, light and fluffy. The pork belly was tender and all the flavors complimented each other well. We will definitely be back to have a full meal!

I came her for my birthday with 3 friends. The food was good but not exceptional. The space was unique and enjoyable. The service was very good. I think this is a good spot for a nicer dinner out.

First off, this restaurant is absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect restaurant for an intimate celebration. Our service was impeccable, she did a great job being attentive, giving recommendations, and comping a dessert since we were celebrating my recent match at Cincinnati Children's. Now for the best part, the FOOD! I cannot say enough about the food, all of it was delicious. Genuinely one of the top 5 meals I've ever had! Definitely a place you have to check out!!!

Richard was our server and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and conscientious of the food allergies of 2 in our party (corn allergy and gluten allergy). I'd go back just for him. My in-laws (with the allergies) were blown away by the variety of food available to them, a rarity. My father in law got the fish sandwich (a haddock) and said it was one of the best he ever had. My MIL got the filet. The clam chowder was thick and creamy - hard to believe it was gluten free. My husband got the lobster shrimp BLT and loved it - such a unique dish. The whipped feta is an absolute must order. Not a spot of it remained. I have been twice and both times I got different things and both times I have thought my main entrees were good, not great. However, I tend to like a lot of seasoning. If it were based on just my tastes, I'd say 4 stars. However, both times I've gone I've been in the minority, the service (again, Richard ) has been great, the ambiance lovely, it bumps it to 5.

I found this restaurant on OpenTable, and I'm so glad we went! It has a cute dining space on the main floor by the bar. But the upstairs area was really cozy and quant with it's separate dining spaces. We felt like we were eating at someone's house. Service was excellent, and pride themselves on being accommodating to people with food allergies. There are lots of options on the menu, and they have the same yummy donut holes as one of their sister restaurants, S.W. Clyborne!

We had a truly lovely 80th bday dinner for my mother in law at Emery. Thank you to our server Stevie and all the chefs. *chefs kiss*. It was a special treat to have the manager comp our appetizers for the delay in bringing them out. Such a Nicki touch! Also thanks Shannon for letting us use the elevator! :)

Came to Emery to celebrate a friend's retirement. We had decided on seafood and when I saw the photos of Emery, I knew this is the place. We missed the building because the trees outside hid the sign. The inside looks much bigger than the outside. I think there's an upstairs dining area. We were seated by the windows looking out into the patio. We started the meal with a cocktail. The elderflower and pear cocktail was wonderful! For appetizers we had the crispy pork belly buns and calamari. The buns were recommended by the wait person. The calamari was our choice. We were hesitant about that because although the dish is simple, most places will have it wrong. The batter will be too thick and all you taste is the batter and not the calamari. Emery got this right. The batter was very light and the flavor of the calamari still comes through. Two of us tried the clam chowder. Thinking that it is the usual white creamy type, we were pleasantly surprised by a bowl of light creamy soup filled with clam meat and bacon bits. It was the best clam chowder we have had. Definitely a must get dish. For entrees, we had the be recommended walleye, the chicken and the the pasta dishes. Every dish was fantastic. The walleye taste bland and plain on it's own but with the crab meat on it and the sauce, it was tasty. The chicken and mushroom is so good. I tasted a piece and love the mushroom with the tender chicken. One person in our group who seldom finish a pasta dish finished the whole dish. That's how good it was. Highly recommend Emery if you are celebrating a special event.

Jesus wept...because every last thing out of the kitchen tonight was DIVINE. The flavor notes in the beet salad were light and crisp. The scallops with pork belly and Brussels on sweet potato purée...I have no words. Perfection on a plate. Feed me more. Chef's kiss. No really...can I kiss the chef?

My husband, baby, and I came here for an early birthday celebration for me. Reservations were made online and were pretty easy. So I'm actually rating our experience 3.5 stars. So our overall experience was good but nothing amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice, definitely kind of my vibe and style which I really love. Our server was good but nothing amazing. She was a little bit awkward while my husband was finishing up the last piece of bread of the appetizer, she kind of just stood there waiting for him to scoop everything so she can take the plate. So he felt kind of rushed because she was literally standing at our table waiting. Anywho here is our review of the food. Whipped feta appetizer. This is probably my favorite dish out of all three things we've ordered. The whip feta had a lot of flavor and paired well with the fig jam and peppers, I could probably eat an additional order of this. Highly recommended. Braised short rib. This was pretty good but I felt that it needed a little bit more of the red wine demi-glaze because by the time I got halfway through the short rib it became a bit dry. The broccolini was a bit tough to cut through with a knife given to me so I didn't really finish that. Blackened ruby red trout. My husband ordered this and he said that it was okay and the fresh lemon curd could have been more flavorful - he said it was a bit too subtle for him. He added some salt and it was a little bit better. So overall it was a good experience but again like I said it wasn't anything amazing. But honestly I would come back here just because of the ambiance itself. Perhaps during a happy hour would be really good.

My husband and I tried Emery on NYE and I'm so glad we did! Service and food were top notch. We tried the scallops and short rib for our entrees, and the scallops were our favorite! Not pictured were the donuts we got for dessert but they were just as good as they sound. Can't wait to come back!

Exceptional flavor, great deal, cooked right -- the kind of wings that make grown adults nod silently while chewing like they just heard the national anthem. You've clearly cracked the code there. Now... the rest feels like a restaurant that needs Ken back in the building doing what he does best: tightening Quality Control like a Marine inspecting bunks. The good stuff first:The ambiance is cozy. The TVs with the Olympics everywhere? Fantastic touch. It felt festive, communal, almost European... if Europeans watched curling while eating fries. Our waitress (who has served me a couple times before) is kind, attentive. Whoever is doing hiring and training deserves a raise...but today many of them seemed checked out. Now for the reality check -- delivered with affection: The dining room seating is uncomfortable. The enclosed patio high-tops are noticeably better. The regular chairs feel like they were designed by a chiropractor trying to drum up future business. The chili had good flavor but arrived just barely warm and missing onions, like it stopped just short of finishing school. The potatoes came missing bacon at first. When it did arrive, the portion was... let's call it "symbolic." About one crumpled strip -- not worth the price, even though the bacon itself was perfectly cooked and the aioli made the dish taste very good. Great ingredients, sloppy execution. Some plates are awkwardly shaped, which turns eating into a geometry problem. Our daughter -- a 23-year-old self-appointed restaurant expert -- liked the pancakes, (wanted the goetta burger but it was 86'd) and the sauce had developed that thick film that says, "I've been sitting here longer than a Senate filibuster." Again, good flavor... just tripped by execution. We also watched a neighboring table wait a long time to cash out -- long enough to turn a good experience into a frustrating exit. Julie said the girls bathroom felt like an outhouse in the Arctic on this snowy morning. Hand dryers are below the belt, so low you could dry your shoes. Take your Doan's Pills if you're over 60 and want to dry your hands. One ironic upside: those wobbly hard dining room seats do ensure fast table turnover. They also strongly discourage lingering for after-dinner drinks -- which I'm guessing was not the business strategy. Bottom line, Ken: This is a good restaurant that should be one of the best neighborhood spots in the city. The bones are strong. The staff is usually strong. The wings are elite. What's missing is your signature tightening of the details.... the last 10% that turns "good" into "people won't shut up about it." Because right now, this place feels like a Ferrari that just needs a tune-up. And everyone knows you're one of the best mechanics in town.

The partnership is celebrated with a barbecue. The food itself, for this event, must be made by the Fifty West Brewing Company restaurant/ chef. It is on par with the food I have eaten there. The food was plentiful, and we ate way too much. Many of the side dishes were on the spicy side. Macaroni and cheese was creamy. The Slopy Nancy was a surprise. It was one of the vegetarian options. A mix of quinoa, chickpeas, carrots, and other vegetables, it was filling, a little spicy, a little sweet, and went well with the brisket. I wish I knew the recipe. It would be great as a Thanksgiving side dish. The brisket was tender. The desserts ( brownies and bread pudding,) were decadent. All items were made with quality ingredients. Based on what we ate, I would look forward to going to this event again. Maybe I should have started with the beer, as this was brew and Que. A wide variety of brews were available. Some where on the traditional side. Others used less common ingredients like sweet potatoes, and Buddha's Hand. It was an interesting mix. I really enjoy seeing creative beers at events like this. The sweet potato went great with the barbecue. It became very bitter when consumed with the desserts. The people who work the event were awesome. They all remained upbeat and positive the entire event. They interacted with the attendees when they could. Towards the end of the event, they were definitely able to do this more. They seemed to be enjoying the event as well. Production Works is a great space for such an event. While it was crowded, it did not feel overly so. In terms of crowdedness, it felt like going to any Brewery on a Saturday night. I think they capped the event at a good number. There was enough room for people to move around, and enjoy themselves. People were welcome to walk around the grounds. A couple of fire pits were set up outside. Later in the evening, they were particularly enjoyable. There's something about sitting outside with a wood-burning fire.

I don't have too much to say about the drinks as I just had water, but the food was tasty and exactly what we needed on a cold afternoon. To start out, we ordered the famous beer cheese, and crab cakes for the table. The famous beer cheese was similar to a fondue but it was prepared well and had me wishing I had more. Very tasty and perfect for sharing. The crab cakes were equally tasty and tasted fresh with a nice consistency. As a table, we ordered the mariemont salad, the Cuban, the famous burger and a bowl of chili. I don't have too much to say about the burger. It was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. The salad was unique and was shared by 2 people at our table. The Cuban was filled well and good value. Its always nice to see a restaurant not skimp out and deliver a nice product. In my opinion, the star of the show was the chili. This was a hardy, filling and extremely tasty chili! And of course, it was exactly what I needed on a cold, cloudy day. I ended up ordering a second bowl, it was that good! I would reccomend this place for a casual meetup with friends or family. Plenty of cozy seating inside, fast and friendly service and great food!

It's a salmon patty on a ciabatta bun with basil pesto, arugula, tomato, and garlic aioli. It was DELICIOUS. A lot of times, fish based patties will be too flaky and won't mesh well with the flavors of the sauces. The balance on this dish between its flavors and textures was top notch. I am highly intrigued to go gather some friends and take them here try more of their menu! The fig & goat cheese bruschetta is calling my name Also pictured are what my parents got: fish + chips (subbed chips for a side salad) and the grilled chicken sandwich Our service was slow at start; we showed up right at 6:30 when it got super busy and so we sat for about 10-15 minutes without having been served. Once I made eye contact with the waitress, she was able to come by and our service there on out was very timely!
