I've been using another business in Spicewood for countertops but passed by this place recently and decided to give them a try. We were extending a bookcase and needed a remnant to try and match the countertop. We didn't need an exact match but something close enough. We stopped in and were able to check some of the remnants they had outside and as luck would have it, we found a piece almost identical to our original countertop. I contacted the business and James came out and we discussed the project. Later, he came out to see the project and another person came out to take the measurements. Throughout the entire process they were very easy to work with. EGW was very quick to have the pieces ready and were very accommodating waiting on the cabinet makers to finish their part of the job. Once the lower parts of the cabinets were installed, the people from EGW were at my house within a day or two to install. The installation was quick. The people who do the installation are very professional and clean. The bookshelves after the countertops and unless you look very closely, you cannot tell the difference from the remnant pieces and the original countertop. The are efficient, professional and reasonably priced. The other company I used was good but the people at Emerald Granite Works seem to care more about their work than the other business I used. We have other projects and will for sure use them again. Can't recommend them enough for any of your granite, countertop or tile needs. read more

I had a contractor build our outdoor patio. When it came time to pick out the granite slab, he said just go to a granite store and pick out a slab. I found that countertop/ granite places that had slabs would not sell me a slab only. They wanted to do all the work. I had a company already contracted. When calling places they brushed me off just saying they don't sell slabs. I called Emerald thinking they might sell me a slab. I left a message and they called me back within 10 min. I explained I only needed a slab and the guy told me they didn't sell slabs only. However this guy was so helpful that he told me where they got their slabs from. He said that a lot of the slabs ( which by the way were amazing) that I saw on their website were from this place. Now I was not doing buisness with them so he could have brushed me off like the previous 10 places I called did. But instead he helped me find what I was looking for and where to go. I wish these guys were doing the work honestly. They do amazing work. My next project will DEFINITLY be done by Emerald. read more

If you are putting in new countertops, these are the "Go To" guys. Nice people to work with. Professional, prompt and a pleasure to work with. I had replacement cabinets put in place under existing granite. As a result the 2 angled seams separated and were uneven on both sides of the sink. They used special equipment to grind the edges to the same level and seamed them back together. Good as new! Additionally they repaired several chips around the sink. The 2 man crew was quick, efficient and professional. I highly recommend their excellent work. read more

This was by FAR the best counter experience I could have asked for as a new homeowner. Chad was so helpful - he explained every step of the process and gave me thorough insight into every option. From different stone types, costs, value and everything inbetween, I was never overwhelmed, neither was my wallet!! It was such an affordable project even with the highest quality stone & labor - they don't sacrifice quality for affordability, which was a total dream. I did this entire process remotely which I was originally so nervous about, but Chad sent me pictures and videos of everything throughout every step of the way - stone selection, demo, install, etc. He even gave me helpful design advise on different ways the stone could be cut to make the most out of the room.
