Mediterranean omelet w/multigrain toast & coffee

The atmosphere is upscale diner. Love the funky paintings. Friendly service from the young staff. And excellent food! My breakfast was perfect. Tasty coffee, delicious omelet and crisp buttered toast. Chefs kiss Plus, not expensive!

This restaurant is located in a small shopping center off Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn. There's a parking lot. There's indoor and outdoor dining. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful day. We had the Hangover which was bacon, eggs, cheese, and potatoes on a hoagie roll and the Breakfast BLT which was a BLT with scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious. They have Coke products and Heinz ketchup.

What a hidden gem! I've heard people talking about this spot, but have never made it over. It's a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, with friendly staff too. They have a surprisingly large menu, with a nice weekly special section. The food we had was excellent. I was torn between a few options, but landed on the omelet. I'll have to return for the other items.

New to the area and was looking for a new breakfast spot. After my first visit I know I will definitely be a returning customer. We tried The Wise Man Benedict and The Reuben omelette. Both were delicious and so filling! The service was wonderful, everyone we met were all very friendly and provided everyone in the restaurant with great service. I look forward to my next visit and to try something new!

This was an amazing find! Looking to feed family with some members that can't have gluten. They make fluffy buttermilk style gluten free pancakes that are delicious. The staff is well versed with what is and what is not gluten free. The menu is easy to navigate. We also got two breakfasts that were just fresh and flavorful. The favorite dish was the Wise Man breakfast with gluten free English muffin. Hubby loved the Gruyère omelette. If we were locals, we'd be coming here every weekend!

The food is outstanding. I had the Mediterranean omelet with bacon. It had so much flavor. Even the potatoes had great flavor.

Good pancakes and breakfast. Brunch is also good. The staff are too nice. That's all I have to say. Best diner in town.

The reviews led me to also try a breakfast sandwich on their homemade focaccia as well. It was good , wasn't expecting forthe egg seemed to have been cooked like a frittata as opposed to a fried egg. The coffee is freshly brewed and high quality. All ingredients including non dairy milk options tasted so fresh and rich. Definitely can tell the quality!!

The staff didn't seem particularly friendly, and the cashier appeared irritated, which made the experience less comfortable than expected. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich that's listed as coming on a bagel, but they were out. I completely understand things sell out. However, I was surprised to be charged an additional $2.50 for a different type of bread as a substitute. As someone who works as a barista, I understand how these situations happen, but in a hospitality-focused business, small moments like this can really shape a customer's experience. Overall, the visit felt more transactional than warm. I hope this is something that can be improved, because good hospitality can make a big difference. Overall the food was good and the drink was also good. But like mentioned above there has to be good customer service to round out the experience.

So many times when I eat out and a savory pie is on the menu I find myself staring at a deconstructed thing. All the ingredients piled on a plate in a lovely gravy with a Pie Puff on top. Good, but not great. In this The Silverspoon already has my vote as they made an honest to god PIE. Full crust top and bottom and when you factor in that the filling was spectacular, the duck juicy and tender and the crust not too flaky and not too crunchy? I was in heaven. Piled atop the Pie was a veritable mountain of watercress and Pomegranate seeds (next time I will set them to the side so I can choose the proper amount per mouthful) and it's here that the Pie really took off. The Pomegranate seeds were little jewels of sweet and tart juice that gave a little pop of color and cool to the delicious duck with every bite. I was so very thrilled with it. I got an opportunity to speak with the new proprietor Michael and he was also an absolute pleasure. The service was friendly and the food was incredible. I will absolutely be back! The only thing I wish was that I had checked my doggie bag before I left, sadly my pie leftovers must have been placed in another bag. That's okay though, it just means that I have to go back and order again :D

When we had walked in, we saw a sign on the door asking patrons to please make sure the door closes fully behind them. However, there was no sign on the other side for people leaving. After the door kept getting left open, letting cold air in, I finally went up to the register to speak with the young woman there. I told her that people keep leaving the door open as they are leaving and asked if she could please put a sign for people leaving the cafe, which might help. I also asked if she could please keep an eye on the door, and let her know I had already had to get up 3 times to shut the door. To her credit, she did ask if we wanted to move to a different table, but it seemed like a hassle at that point. She did say again that she would be sure to keep an eye on the door. Guess what? She did not keep an eye on the door as more people were leaving. My mother also tried to catch her as she was going by, and she didn't stop. She basically ignored us the rest of the time. The young man serving us was polite but just kind of smiled and said sorry with a passive attitude when my mother mentioned the issue as we were paying (we told him we didn't want the coffee drinks after all, we just wanted to pay and leave at that point). I would think business owners would instruct their employees to try to please their customers and make them feel welcome. In the case of an issue, I would expect the employee to want to make an effort to make things right. This was a disappointing experience and I wouldn't recommend the place for this reason.
