Quick service. Ellen was so great and amazing. She helped tailor my dress that I needed by the end of the week and it was perfect.

She truly listens to her clients and delivers exactly what you ask for. I highly recommend Coco for any alterations. She is talented, professional, and such a wonderful person. I couldn't be happier with how my wedding dress turned out. Thank you, Coco, for making my dress absolutely perfect and helping make my wedding day so special!

I came to Miss Coco's Alterations to alter my bridesmaid dress that I got off Azazie. I went in…read morewanting just a hem, but after consulting with Coco, she suggested tightening up the shoulder seam so that the bust of my dress didn't sag as much. I had read the reviews before going to her, so I was aware of Coco delivering a day late on alterations. I went in on June 18th to get my dress altered, and Coco told me to come in on July 2nd to pick up my dress. On July 2nd, I actually called her beforehand to confirm that my dress would be ready. She asked me for my dress color and then said to come by any time before 5pm. My dress was not ready. I drove over, and Coco told me that she was still working on my dress. She also mentioned that the person who usually steams all the finished pieces had already left for the day, so she needed an additional day. I was fine with her needing extra time, but I wish she had said that over the phone before I made the drive. I thought that was inconsiderate, especially since I had already been proactive about calling beforehand to confirm that the dress could be picked up. Nonetheless, the alterations turned out nicely. The hem of the dress worked beautifully with the heels I chose, and the tightened shoulder seams made the dress fit much nicer. I felt so confident wearing this dress at my friend's wedding. The hem and shoulder seam adjustments totaled $80. I don't have a frame of reference for the average cost of alterations for formal attire, so I can't tell if it was reasonable. I would definitely recommend getting your clothes in earlier rather than later to accommodate for any potential delays.

A family member and I found this tailor here on Yelp and we gave it a chance by visiting the place. We came in with two pieces: an oversized hoodie and a piece of formal wear. The owner, Ellen, took the time to carefully assess the clothes. She was thoughtful as she walked us throughout her entire thought process, pointing out specific seams and fabric details that made the alternation challenging. She patiently answered all our questions, outlining every potential step and its associated costs. This meticulous breakdown showed she genuinely cared that we made an informed decision, not just a quick sale. This was further confirmed by my family member (who was with me), who has extensive tailoring experience themselves and fully agreed with Ellen's assessment. Overall, what impressed us the most was her honesty. She told us the complexity of the alternations were simply not worth the expensive cost. She prioritized giving us practical, honest advice over making a sale. That kind of integrity that Ellen showed us during our first visit is rare. We are grateful for her kindness and will *absolutely* be coming back for any future tailoring needs. We highly recommend this shop, Ellen's Sewing Café, for their trustworthy service! :)

I walked in right when it opened and the man at the front told me they were busy and that he would be able to do same day hemming but not taking in the sides of the dress. I guess the woman that usually does that kind of work was not in that day. I was super sad and left but was in the parking lot trying to see who was open early before had to go to work. There was no one lol. I called again and begged and he said to come in and he'll see what he can do. I was able to pick up after work around 4:45 pm!! I told him I don't even need it clean it just need it wearable at this point. To my surprise it was done better than I expected for what he couldn't promise me (being as quality and clean as the other woman could do on a line time frame)! The tailoring was clean enough and definitely wearable. Super sorry for the inconvenience I caused but very happy and extremely grateful for the nice man that was able to get it done for me.

They came back with wire hangers, a protective sleeve, and a neutral, clean smell. My only gripe is I was told by the gentleman that the system would text me when it's done. I never ended up getting any sort of notification at all, so I came back after 5 days to pick up my jackets.
