This place has good prices if you need something done cheap. It's conveniently located next to the post office which is how I even found this place. However, I've noticed that whenever I bring my things to dry clean, the man is unapproachable and has a dismissing attitude towards me. The way he speaks is off putting. The lady is always kind. I notice that they treat their older age customers with much more respect. Unfortunately due to multiple occurrences I won't be returning. Randomly found Daylight Cleaners and Alterations through a Yelp search and am so glad I decided to get my dress altered here. I have an evening gown that I purchased as a bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding. It was too long, so I needed to find a tailor to at least hem it to the correct length. While at Daylight, I tried on the dress and collaborated with Jazmine on what alterations to make. We landed on hemming it, opening up the leg slit, shortening the shoulder straps, and opening up the neck/chest area. I asked if the work could be completed within two weeks and she said yes. Fast forward two weeks, I received a text the day before I was supposed to pick the dress up saying that it was ready. When I went to pick it up, I was asked to try it on, and it was perfect. All the alterations Jazmine made were seamless, and the dress looked like it came that way without any modifications. Overall, giving Daylight Cleaners and Alterations a 5/5 for their friendly, quick, quality and reasonably priced service. I found Donnie and Jasmine's business on Yelp because of the high praise, and I can attest that they deserve all of it. I have two beloved skirts, I purchased over 10 years ago, that needed altering. I needed the waist for both shirts to be let out two sizes. Jasmine is an artist! A true talent! Both skirts feel comfortable. And I cannot see where she made her incisions. I can continue to wear my skirts, thanks to Jasmine. In addition to my skirts, Jasmine hemmed a brand new pair of pants. The length is perfect. Jasmine is a master tailor! I also appreciate the communication from Donnie. When I dropped off my skirts, he noticed a few stains that I had from my own doing. Since school is about to start and we know how much private school uniforms can be I decided to just get my daughters uniforms altered. The uniform still fits her but she just grew a tad bit during the summer so I needed it to be altered longer. The lady did a good job on altering the uniforms and I think for the price I paid for was worth it.
