I wouldn't say that they're inexpensive, but I also don't have a strong frame of reference regarding how much alterations should cost. A third updated review. I've been going here for years and Ken and Kate run a lovely family business that is hands-down the best dry cleaner I have ever had. Like Wolverine of the X-Men, they're the best at what they do. But no, they don't use adamantium claws to alter your garments. In the various areas where we've lived in different cities, including this area, I have probably tried collectively over a dozen dry cleaners, and Zion continues to be the best! Even Tony Stark would stop upgrading his armor long enough to appreciate the consistency here. He'd likely trust His nanotech to the family shop. * They are very efficient from the moment you walk in * Helped with dozens of alterations and cleaned hundreds (maybe over a thousand?) garments. * Measurements are spot on: feels like Shuri from Wakanda is tailoring each one Ken and Kate are super friendly (but not Super Friends, as that's the DCU) and thoughtful (like the brain of Bruce Banner, the Hulk). There have been times I needed rush cleaning or last-minute fixes, and they always came through. Feels like the kind of help Peter Parker gets from Aunt May: sweet, kind, always there. Parking is easy and right near the front. No Quinjet required. Or X-men Blackbird. Or Fantasticar... I'd give them 10 out of 5 stars. Nick Fury would sleep easier knowing his suits are handled here. I took my jacket to this dry cleaner for a sowing repair, and they ended up breaking the zipper instead. When I brought it to their attention, they denied any responsibility and claimed they had video footage proving they didn't damage it. I asked to see the video, but they couldn't produce it and eventually admitted there was no such proof. It was a very disappointing experience -- not just because of the damage, but because of their dishonesty and unwillingness to make it right. I would not recommend this business due to their lack of accountability and integrity. read more

Quality dry cleaners. Had a dress hemmed and they did an amazing job with the delicate flowing fabric. Dry cleaning was fresh and didn't smell of any odors. It has taken me a long while of trying out various cleaners after my local cleaners retired. My clothes at other dry cleaners come back smelling like they did a big batch of clothing and had lingering smells. But not this cleaner, you can tell they don't just throw all the items into one big batch. The clothing is clean! Highly recommend! Words can't describe how lucky I am to come across someone as skilled as Kate! Everyone needs a go-to alterations place and let me tell you... this is now mine! I bought a wedding dress in 2019 for my wedding in 2020, but like any Covid bride, I had to make other plans and had to postpone my wedding. WELL, I ended up getting pregnant and gained 50 lbs. In the back of my head I was SO sad because I knew I wasn't able to fit in my wedding dress in time for the wedding. A month after having my baby (and 3 months before the wedding) I ended up finding Zion and set up a consultation with them. Kate was very nice and gave me a few recommendations on what she can do to help me fit my dress. We ended up deciding on adding a lace-up corset backing to replace my zipper. I came back a week before my wedding and my dress fit like a glove! The corset was done beautifully and she also added material that matched my dress perfectly so the lace up backing wouldn't expose my bare back. She sewed my belt directly on my dress so it wouldn't move around. She also hemmed my dress and instead of cutting the lace bottom and leaving as is, she meticulously added lace material so the hemline looked beautifully finished. My daughter had a very long summer dress she needed altered and Zion (specifically Kate) did the alterations in just a couple of days. She not only shortened the length as desired by my daughter, but also took the back in so it fit more snugly. Ready on time, and done extremely well! We were very pleased and Kate and the gentleman (didn't get his name) were friendly and helpful. We live 350+ miles away, but visit the area 2-3 times a year. whenever i need to get things tailored, this is my spot! i got my prom dress tailored here back in 2018, and have had great experiences ever since. they always have gotten my clothes back to me in a very timely manner and are very friendly throughout the whole process. i think that their services are very fairly priced for the quality of service they provide. i have recommended zion to my mom, and she has also loved the interactions she's had when dropping off her clothes here for cleaning/tailoring. highly recommend! :) read more

They saved my wedding dress!!!! I don't visit the dry cleaners often but my friend recommended this place to alter my wedding dress but this was my last hope!!! I brought in my dress after already having altered my dress from the place I bought it, but the "place that won't be named here" refused to fulfill what I asked for and kept trying to persuade me that it looks fine. I bought a dress that was a size 8 (I'm around a size 2-4) and they assured me that they can shrink it down for me so I purchased it. And I absolutely loved the dress so I didn't hesitate when they said it can fit me perfectly...only to find out they actually couldn't. So I came to this place and they helped me fit into it perfectly! Everything the other place said they couldn't do, they were able to fix! At this point I was only a month out and my dress is covered in lace so this was a big job but she was able to complete it in about 2 weeks and even had me come in again to try it on so she can do last-minute fixes if we needed to. I'm so happy these guys are still open!! I'm short and pants never fit me... so I've been going to them for a while to get my pants hemmed and taken in. Working strange hours and being a compulsive online shopper, I've been sitting on a pile of pants waiting to be altered. Now thanks to them I'll finally have proper pants that fit. I went in with a chiffon dress for my engagement photos and needed to add a slit (okay, I didn't NEED to, but the dress needed a little something; you know?) So I went in maybe 3 days before, of course last minute, and though the seamstress was shocked at the timeline (rightfully so), she hooked it up with A BEAUTIFUL alteration. Just what I asked for! I now know to give them at least a week in advance for something like this, and the more time the better. They do amazing work! TRRIBLE!! I went there first time to ask for cleaning 3 sweaters and some others. Although we were a little late to pick up finished clothes, it was just 1 week later than the date I was told to pick up. After bringing back home and hang them in a closet for a while, I just opened the plastic cover and got shocked!!! One of my sweater is heavily damaged....... It's a normal black sweater, but now it has a huge hole below collar...and all the materials (yarn) are so messed up and entangled... Couldn't believe my eyes...!! It's never happened to me before. I was looking for a new dry cleaner close to my new home and i had many options but after seeing the reviews from previous customers I had to try them out since i had 2 suits (gray and navy) and 5 dress shirts (laundry and dry clean) and they did great. Price was fair granted the economy and i had no problem taking care of payment and picking up my items. Even though my office building offers its own in-house dry cleaning services, I still go out of my way to bring my business to Zion. They are the only ones I trust with my work wear, especially my beloved Ted Baker dresses. They also do garment preservations. I just had my daughter's flower girl dress cleaned and preserved and they did a great job. Prices are definitely reasonable and customer service is excellent.
