I had to put in window units upstairs even though I have central air conditioning, because it was always hot in summers. Ralph came by, looked at the crawl space, and suggested that it was my attic that needed more insulating. I didn't even know I had an attic because the home inspection report said a previous addition upstairs was the attic itself. Ralph was right. He gave me a quote, didn't try to upsell me, and answered other heating and cooling questions I then had. The crew, led by Francisco, were three hardworking and polite guys who neatly cut a small hole in my upstairs ceiling, blew in fiberglass, went into the crawl space, vacuumed it entirely, cleaned the transfer grille that was located at the top of the staircase (bad location), and closed everything back up. If you have uneven temperatures or think you need a new unit, get your attic insulation looked at, even if it's inaccessible to you. Not a DIY job. Let these guys do it, it's all they do and they know their stuff.

When I called Cowleys to inquire what happened, they said they don't actually confirm these visits - they just show up?? But then why would you knock on my door if you don't need anyone to be present? This is WILDLY unprofessional behavior - not just showing up unannounced with chemicals in a home with a newborn, but then trying to gaslight me for your lack of communication. The entire phone call felt like the rep was annoyed at me and she did absolutely nothing to help beyond adding me to a "list" where they would notify me to confirm future visits. I've received confirmation from them in the past, so I don't know what happened on their end, but I cancelled my service with the rep immediately. What a waste of money this whole ordeal was. I DO NOT recommend these people at all.

I resigned a contract with Orkin for services I had prior and all was good until they came out for the 1st treatment and advised my son who lives in a house off campus that the contract we signed is way too low in price and refused to treat the house. I called and manager refused to call me back, after 10 attempts and speaking to 10 different very nice ladies. At last After my last attempt he decides to call my son a 20 year and talked inappropriately to him advising him again that they will not honor the contract. I called again frustrated about the lack of calling me back an adult that signed the contract to deal with. But Brian only is man enough to deal with kids. I will be reporting him to corporate with no regards to how to deal with kids or honoring a contract... who is JOKER making his own rules. Never do business with Orkin my goal is make sure I make as many as can aware. Going to post this on every possible outlet. Kids are not in good hands with Brian Alexander at ORKIN SC.
