Heads up -- this is a detailed and honest review. I reached out to Atticare after PSE&G completed a home energy assessment on my hundred‑plus‑year‑old home. The assessment wasn't bad, but they did recommend re‑insulating my attic due to the age of the existing insulation. When I contacted Atticare for an estimate, I learned they partner directly with PSE&G on home energy‑efficiency projects, which immediately made the process smoother. Stephen (Inspection & Sales) - Stephen arrived exactly at the scheduled time and was friendly from the moment he walked in. He inspected my attic, measured the square footage, and walked me through all available insulation options. No upselling...just available options. Based on our conversation about my high winter heating bills, he also suggested that my outer walls likely needed insulation. Before giving me any pricing, he made sure I understood that Atticare would secure the best possible PSE&G rebate. They ultimately obtained a sizable rebate (free money!) and a 0% loan for 72 months billed as part of my monthly utilities bill, which allowed me to insulate all three floors of outer walls in addition to the attic. Nick & Crew (Attic Insulation) - Nick and his team also arrived right on time. He explained the scope of work clearly and determined the most efficient way to complete it. His crew worked quickly and had the entire attic insulated in under a day. Victor & Crew (Outer Wall Insulation) - Like Stephen and Nick, Victor and his team were punctual and professional. Because my home's exterior is stucco, he explained the indoor insulation process in detail. His team moved furniture away from the outer walls, covered everything with plastic sheeting, and got to work. I will note that dust mitigation could be improved for walls and furnishings -- not a dealbreaker, but tightening that up would elevate the experience even further. The outer wall insulation work took a bit longer than expected due to the number of holes that needed to be drilled, patched, and painted, but the team handled it diligently. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the services provided and am genuinely looking forward to seeing a decrease in my heating and cooling bills. Not only would I recommend Atticare -- I already have. read more

We had a bit of a weird situation. Our attic is finished, but behind the closet was a section of unfinished attic that hadn't been touched in decades. It was a complete mess, had signs of rodents, and something was leaking through to our bedroom ceiling below Bob was an absolute delight. In a couple days, he came and took a look, assured me it could be cleaned out, sealed to prevent rodents and energy loss, and even though they don't typically do wall work, could put a temporary seal in place A couples day later, the team was here. In under 3 hours, the space looked completely restored. I could even use it for additional storage space now if I wanted too. So in case it wasn't clear, I would absolutely recommend Atticare NJ and would use them again. The professionalism, timeliness, and attention detail are just a few of the reasons read more

Great service. Great crew. reasonable price. Amazed of how quickly the project was completed. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Moved into a new home and needed the attic cleaned out and insulated plus a new entrance way to get to the attic. The staff over the phone were professional. Bob was on time and professional and gave us a great quote. The guys that came over for the work were also on time and professional and did a great job. Highly recommended. read more

Really expensive and didn't take care of the problem. They advertised to get rid of pest by filling all openings in the attic No they didn't. A matter of fact they didn't complete the job and mice came into the attic. Then they removed my air conditioner duct tube and didn't reattach it. I wouldn't recommend. 15 thousand dollars later... read more

The best team!! Our home has had a raccoon issue for years and after multiple different companies attempting to handle the issue, atticare was the one to get it done. Our attic was a disaster from all the raccoons and our heat was torn up by them. The atticare team took care of all of that and made the attic spotless. They removed the destroyed insulation, fixed all the ducts and cleaned and sanitized everything and patched up the entryway that the raccoons were getting in from. Different companies have came to the house and either said they wouldn't be able to do the cleaning job (considering it would be too hard to get in certain areas of the house), or wanted to charge an arm and a leg. Bob at atticare and his team assured me they will handle everything and charged the most reasonable price out of everyone. They really are the best and did a great job. And the best part is that they got it done faster than any other company would have. If you have a similar issue, do not look anywhere else and waste your money on other companies, go straight to the team at atticare. read more

What a relief! Atticare's team exceeded my expectations. Their initial consultation was so thorough and helpful, covering every detail of the project and offered competitive prices. They worked removing the old insulation and the entire process to install the new stuff excellently. The team was punctual, attentive to detail, and completed within the schedule. All in all, they did an amazing job on what I thought might be a nightmare task, but it turned out to be a very smooth experience! read more

We hired Atticare to re-insulate our attics. We have an older split-level home and there was a 3-5-degree difference in the temperatures of the lower vs. upper levels. We interviewed three different contractors, each of whom told us different ways to solve the problem. From the first meeting with Bob at Atticare, we knew that this company was professional: Bob walked us through the entire process and gave us a very reasonable price to rip out the old insulation and install new. The team that did the work was also very professional, did exactly what was in the contract and was exceptionally clean. We were very happy with the job when it was finished. The real return was, though, what happened the day after the installation was complete: within 24 hours, the temperature difference was gone and we've even been able to begin turning down our thermostat because the upstairs is now warmer than the downstairs. Atticare solved our problem and we're looking forward to saving on our utility bills! Thanks to Bob, Victor and the entire Atticare team! Great job and we would be happy to both recommend and use them again. read more

Very professional and quick to work!! Punctual and easy to talk to! Left the place clean.

Our entire experience with Atticare was excellent. A free estimate appointment was easy to set up and happened as scheduled. A treatment plan was presented in a clear and organized way. Communication was great throughout the entire process. The workmen (Justin, Alex) and were polite, efficient and friendly. Before and after pictures were shared immediately and clean up was thorough. I highly recommend! read more

his is a great company with professional service, competitive pricing and a thorough crew! My crawl space needed new insulation, sanitation treatment and a clean up. Moe came out and gave a detailed estimate so I knew what to expect. Steven and his crew showed up on time, and put in a full day removing old fiberglass insulation and replacing with modern materials. They kept me up dated by sending photos of the process all along the way. And they clean up!!!! Not one spec of left over trash. They get a 10 star review from me! read more

I used Atticare 10 years ago to do clean, seal, and insulate my attic. Since then I've had several people (roofers, AC repair) comment on how clean and well insulated my attic was. Today, I had them vapor-barrier, seal and insulate my crawlspace. They were on time, pleasant, and did exactly what we agreed. They even checked my attic and garage for any issues. I can already feel the difference in temperature- I turned my heat down because my house got warm much quicker than normal (it's cold out tonight). I highly recommend them. Top notch service! read more

Atticare is absolutely first class -- from start to finish, top-to-bottom -- snd delivers exactly as promised. -- Bob (sales lead) was courteous, professional, accessible for additional questions and concerns (many times after signing contract), and most of all -- genuine. -- No hype or pressure; with high integrity, Bob quoted required items only and provided suggestions for upgrades, if desired. -- Upon installation, Stephen Nunez -- head foreman for the crew -- thoroughly managed clean-up, disinfectant, sealing, and installation of the 65-year-old attic which contained original (cumbled and decomposing) insulation + a few additional legacy layers. He consistently communicated status and provided pictures of work-in-action to show real-time outcomes of the cleaning, sealing, sanitizing, and installing. -- An absolute relief and joy to have peace of mind about a thorough and complete job. read more

We hired Atticare to clean out and insulate out attic after we had our roof replaced. They did an amazing job. I don't recognize the attic as I have known it since we moved in over 20 years ago. A week prior Bob Pisillo took us through Atticare's process including costs, how long the job would take and what to expect. He and his team were true to their word and we could not be happier with the results We highly recommend Atticare and I am looking forward to lower utility bills and a tax credit for 2025 read more

Our insulation was old and costing us money every winter. Saw an Atticare promotional video that showed their installation process, and I reached out for an estimate. The representative came to the house on time, inspected our attic, and provided an excellent detailed estimate. The price was very competitive, but what really caught my attention was their attention to detail. We signed the contract and within three days their installation crew arrived. They quickly remove the old insulation and had the new insulation installed. The entire work area was left immaculate and their work crew was very professional. I would definitely use Atticare in the future and plan to recommend them to my friends. Tim read more

It started off with a visit from their very friendly and knowledgeable tech, Bob, who looked at the job and provided us with an estimate. I needed an unfinished attic clean out that consisted of old insulation removal, cleaning, disinfecting, sealing and installation of new insulation. Bob gave us a fair price for the job that was ahead. I scheduled a day that worked for me. On that day they called me 30 minutes before arrival. There was a team of 6 men. They were on time, professional and beyond neat! They protected everything in their path in my house (walls, floors etc)!!! We worked with AtticareUSA to clean, sanitize, and reinsulate our attic, after it was discovered that we had a minor mouse problem in our home. From the initial conversation and quote via the salesman Bob Pisillo, to the crew arriving right on time, the experience was excellent. They not only did all of the above, but also unloaded our attic - which had over 20 years worth of storage within - and RELOADED it after all the work was completed, all within a a single day. The crew was courteous, clean, and worked extremely hard to get things done quickly and well. I've already recommended them to my neighbors, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for attic service. read more

Outstanding service and for a reasonable price! Extremely professional and the work done was completed quickly, efficient and exceptionally clean. Not only did they complete the job, they even came back next morning since a squirrel was burrowing in a soffit and was dormant during the procedure and afterwards was trying to break out. Well my attic was sealed so good that the squirrel could not get out! They came back immediately and removed the squirrel and released it back into nature. Great communication throughout the process, from Bob explaining in detail at initial meeting and Steve and his crew working diligently!! So thankful I made the call! I can now sell my home with confidence that the attic and its insulation is in tip top condition. Thanks Atticare!! read more

We recently had Atticare at our home to clean and re-insulate our attic and we are very happy with the results. Bob Pissilo responded the day after I reached out to Atticare and was here the following day to inspect the attic and provide a proposal for the work. He was also well prepared to provide me with good answers to my questions regarding the work and his cost estimate. We executed a contract that day and the following Tuesday Steven and his crew were here to do the work. They arrived at 9:30 in the morning and were done with the work be 12:30. With the exception of having a clean attic and new insulation you would never know they were here. Atticare was extremely easy to work with. For over 12 years I've dealt with an attic that was borderline scary. Atticare was able to remedy that. What I was most impressed with was how clean they kept the job site and my house in both demoing my current attic floor, installing new insulation, and then finally new plywood subfloor. I'd recommend them and will be using them again for my attic over the garage. read more

We had a great experience with Atticare in Los Angeles. Our 80-year-old home had a long term rat infestation we resolved, but it left us with damaged, gross, contaminated and potentially toxic (not to mention old and ineffective!) insulation. I called Atticare Friday. On Monday, Cody came out to look at our attic, hear our concerns, and give us a quote, and scheduled the work for Friday. Atticare called the day before to confirm all the time. Miguel arrived within the first 20 mins of the arrival window and the team set up a plastic corridor between the attic and the front door to make sure none of the potentially toxic rat "byproducts" or insulation got into the living spaces. They removed all the old insulation, vacuumed everything out, sprayed it with a sterilizing spray. I have a really keen sense of smell, so I could just barely smell a slightly minty odor. They rolled in the beautiful new insulation. They were in and out within about five hours, and even vacuumed up the floor just to make extra-sure there was nothing that escaped. We did discover there was a small area under some screwed-in plywood that the team wasn't able to access on the day. I emailed them about it on Saturday, and on Tuesday a small team came back to vacuum out the remaining rat "byproducts" and fill in the insulation. I'd make sure they're able to access every area you need cleaned and insulated. They really did an amazing job. We'll look to them again when we need insulation under the house. read more
