Robert responded back in a timely fashion with an appointment within a days time frame that was really appreciated as living with pest is gorse specifically during pandemic. He was at the location(s) as promised and did a thorough job of inspecting around the unit to take care of the root cause. He ensured everything was taken care from outside and then treated inside with sprays for the roaches and mice traps inside the unit at all possible location with a warranty period. He knows his domain thoroughly and takes an extra mile to get rid of the pest. I wouldn't hesitate in utilizing his services again in future!

Before he came, he had us empty all of our dressers and put our clothes in airtight bins. If you are reading this and you've discovered bed bugs in an early stage and it's not a big infestation yet, I highly recommend that you watch Mark Rober's bed bug video and follow it religiously. Buy bed bug traps for your bed, encase your bed in a high quality bed mattress cover, apply diatomaceous earth powder in a thin layer around your room (please wear a N95 mask and do your best not to inhale any of it), etc. Follow everything in that video before your bed bug problem becomes an infestation. Please watch that video. It will do you justice. If you caught your bed bug problem too late, you'll need a professional. In other words, not this guy. He might have good reviews for other pests, but he has absolutely no idea what he's doing in regards to bed bugs. He's afraid of them. He ain't gonna help you. What caught my attention is that the company does not have you sign any contracts, they come and take care of things that you ask them to take care of. Especially when it only takes a couple hundred for a professional to do it safely. Mike didn't give me a hard time at all for my rationale. In fact, he fully understood where I was coming from and gave me a reasonable rate to do what is technically the minimum that was needed to solve the problem: remove the nests and prevent new ones from being formed at least for a little while. You know what he says about knowing whether a nest is dead or not? You can't really tell, there's no good answer. Is that Mike justifying job security? I don't think so. Not when he spends a few extra minutes after he's technically done with the job looking over my windows and spraying any additional ones he could find. He didn't have to do that. He didn't have his ladder on him to remove that extra nest by my second floor window, but I can do that myself. I just need to know it's dead. So for what I paid, I got a person who listened, set the right expectations, and even adjusted his methods to adapt to each situation. I also got a person I'll use again whenever I have another situation like this in the future. The squirrels returned a few months later causing extensive damage and Derek has not even bothered to call us back. We contacted him several times, our tenant and the neighbor with no response. Horrible and ineffective service as well as breach of contract. Please see photos below to see the damage, which would have been avoided if he had done his job well. Ralph came by, looked at the crawl space, and suggested that it was my attic that needed more insulating. I didn't even know I had an attic because the home inspection report said a previous addition upstairs was the attic itself. Ralph was right. He gave me a quote, didn't try to upsell me, and answered other heating and cooling questions I then had. The crew, led by Francisco, were three hardworking and polite guys who neatly cut a small hole in my upstairs ceiling, blew in fiberglass, went into the crawl space, vacuumed it entirely, cleaned the transfer grille that was located at the top of the staircase (bad location), and closed everything back up. If you have uneven temperatures or think you need a new unit, get your attic insulation looked at, even if it's inaccessible to you. Not a DIY job.
