    Got ant problem despite of us spraying constantly. Had the exterminators came by, and we have not seen ants in our house for months now!

    If you need an exterminator for bed bugs, this man is not your guy. He came for an appointment…read moretoday and was here for 5 minutes. Yes, you read that right... 5 minutes. For a bed bug problem. All he did was spray some pesticides and barely covered any ground. Bed bugs are a very different pest from any other pest you'll deal with, and he accomplished absolutely nothing for us today. I work remote and planned on working at a coffee shop today, and wasted my time planning around the appointment because we were informed that we would need to vacate our apartment while they did work around our house. So much for that! I would have expected at least SOME effort to inspect our apartment and maybe try and look around for where they might be. Nope! Barely even lifted a finger. His colleague stood outside the house the entire time, and Gary wasn't even willing to touch the mattress. I had to pull it out for him. What kind of exterminator is afraid of getting their hands dirty? It's your job to find bugs and exterminate them. At least pretend you're trying dude. Before he came, he had us empty all of our dressers and put our clothes in airtight bins. I'll admit, that's good advice, but that's something you'd probably read online before dumping money and time on someone like this. So yeah, thanks for regurgitating obvious information to me. This guy didn't even bother looking into any dressers or closely inspect any of our beds. He made absolutely no effort on his part. I ended up finding more bed bugs myself after thoroughly inspecting my roomate's room, and putting actual effort into making sure that we dealt with them the best way we could for the meantime. If you are reading this and you've discovered bed bugs in an early stage and it's not a big infestation yet, I highly recommend that you watch Mark Rober's bed bug video and follow it religiously. Buy bed bug traps for your bed, encase your bed in a high quality bed mattress cover, apply diatomaceous earth powder in a thin layer around your room (please wear a N95 mask and do your best not to inhale any of it), etc. Follow everything in that video before your bed bug problem becomes an infestation. Please watch that video. It will do you justice. If you caught your bed bug problem too late, you'll need a professional. In other words, not this guy. He might have good reviews for other pests, but he has absolutely no idea what he's doing in regards to bed bugs. He's afraid of them. He ain't gonna help you. Thanks for nothing, I'm sure whatever my landlord paid you was worth it.

    I first hired a national company to take care of yellow jackets nest. A guy came, did some…read morespraying, told me the YJ would be gone in a day. Next day, YJ were having a party and did not appear like they wanted to leave. I found Family Termite & Pest Control on Yelp the next day. What caught my attention is that the company does not have you sign any contracts, they come and take care of things that you ask them to take care of. I left a message on Yelp and received a response from Gary in fairly short timeframe. He was at my door steps the following morning and took care of the problem. That same evening, I did not see a single YJ. Gary took care of the problem in quick and effective manner. Price was also very reasonable. I will definitely consider FT&PC for any future pest needs.

E&G was the first to respond and gave me an appointment quickly. A very nice salesman came over and immediately put me at ease. Naturally, I was hysterical as a single woman who keeps a very clean home. He informed of what their company could do and how the process would work and set me up for treatment the next day. I felt so relieved once I knew a remedy was on the way and the problem was not severe at all. I'm so terrified of mice! The next day, the exterminator came over to do the initial treatment and answered all of my questions, no matter how inane. He also did everything I needed; plugging all holes that were left by the previous owner during the shoddy renovation of my house before I bought it. He even swept up behind the stove and the crumbs under the fridge. Just absolute top notch service! Thank you so much!!!!

    EDIT: I realized that my location is for my previous address. This event occurred in South Amboy…read moreNJ. This was a frustrating and anger inducing experience. I made an appointment for a mouse problem in the basement. The initial visit was fine, as the technician, let's name him M, placed a number of traps in the basement, attic, garage, and in the cabinet below the sink. I was informed to call them in two weeks whereupon the traps would be checked. I made the necessary call for the follow up visit. The tech who showed up was not M, but someone else who would not check the attic, since he almost fell trying to lower the steps. Ok, I accepted this and made a call back to the office emphasizing that it would be best if M returned to check the attic traps. They agreed, but instead of M showing up for the follow up visit No. 2, it was, once again, a different employee. He told me he was unable to navigate the attic ladder because he had a bad shoulder. Here is where my frustrating started to rise, but my anger was still held in abeyance. Once more I called the office and stated that the second employee was unable to enter the attic and M needed to come here to do this task. I was assured that M would be the one to come for follow up visit No. 3, between 12pm-2pm. On the day in question 2pm comes and goes and no one shows up. Now my anger finally rears its head along with the frustration to match. Despite this, I patiently waited until 3:15 to once again call the office and ask where is M as he is over an hour past due. I'm told that she will contact M and call me right back. 45 minutes and no call back later, I shouted a few stress relieving expletives and departed the scene as I had other things to do. While one the road, I finally got a call back around a half hour later saying M could be there around 5pm. I let them know that I was no longer there. It was agreed that M would make an appearance on Tuesday April 14, between 2pm-4pm. Tuesday rolls around and did M show up for follow up visit No. 4? Of course not. Did they have a shred of integrity and call me either that day, or the proceeding days, to offer an apology and lame reason for another no show? Of course not. I never bothered calling the incompetent and poor excuse of professionals back, as my anger was too great, and I knew all I would be doing is spitting into the wind anyway. In conclusion, I do not know if the owner of this company has the ability to respond to my complaint so understand this; I have a processed check as payment, along with paper receipts, and phone records authenticating my narrative. If the owner can respond and attempts to mitigate the severity of my complaint, this can only be achieved by stating falsehoods.
