This little neighborhood pizza place is in the heart of Fraser, which is a quaint and alternative little town north of Winter Park. It is near some vacation housing but is also clearly in the heart of the local population. Most of the customers were stopping in for pickup. Many seemed to be locals, some more youthful ski types. There are about 4-5 tables if you want to eat in. On a Tuesday night after the holidays, this was fine for us, but I think on the weekend, don't plan on eating in with a group. The place was well staffed with incredibly friendly folks, locals comfortable in t-shirts on a reasonably warm day for a town known for super cold weather "icebox of the nation" awards in some years. They explained all the choices and we built our own with Steamboat local sausage, in-house made meatballs, basil, mushrooms, San Marzano tomato sauce and their normal (tons) of cheese. Very tasty, a bit high fat for us, just a bit oily, but totally traditional for this volume of cheese, and we only got a small, which was more than adequate. The soundtrack was Grateful Dead, so we got one of the Ben and Jerry, Cherry Garcia ice cream cups from the self serve freezer case. The young woman at the counter was super friendly to us though we were not the usual clientele. The guys in back were throwing the dough. The place is simple and plain, but does this well. Very affordable and does serve beer. Be careful walking in from the parking lot. There is a steel stairwell to the second level of this little center right in front of their entrance so walk around it or duck if you are tall. read more

We got this pizza for carry out and it was quite good. There is one dominant choice for pizza in the Winter Park area and so its nice to have an alternative, especially a good one. Elevation has some unique specialty pizzas which have a very good combination of flavors. We had the BBT (Bacon, Basil and Tomato -- a Margherita pizza with Bacon), the Hot Wing (Chicken with Buffalo Wing Sauce) and the Adam Bomb (Pepperoni and Green Hatch Chilis and Cream Cheese). Each of these had a unique flavor that really worked and we enjoyed all of them. I am rooting for Elevation Pizza, I hope they stick around for a while. I am definitely a fan. read more

Eh...I don't think so. I'm not sure where all these good reviews are coming from...probably from places like Denver or Salt Lake City where the pizza is TERRIBLE. The pizza itself isn't that bad, definitely steps above the like of Papa Johns and Dominoes. But it isn't that good and definitely should not be in the "expensive but worth it" pizza category. That's just it the pizza is much too expensive for what it is, on the likes of $3-$6 a pizza too expensive. Another reason this is only getting 1-star is delivery took 1 hour and 50 minutes. We ordered a cheese pizza and some pepperoni rolls, this should NOT take almost 2 hours. And to charge a $3 delivery fee seems a little ridiculous. I'll pay a $3 fee if my pizza is at my door in less than an hour but 2 hours is insane. I understand it's the only pizza place that delivers in town but that's no excuse. One more thing, after waiting for our pizza for 2 hours is showed up COLD, ICE COLD, like we had to heat it back up in our over COLD. That's unacceptable. read more

We headed to WP with my mother-law from GA and were in the mood for some yummy pizza for lunch. We did a quick Google Maps search and discovered Elevation Pizza. They had only been open a week (great work utilizing Internet tools). There isn't a lot of room to sit so be patient (please) and eventually a spot will open up. The staff are amazingly friendly and love what they're doing. I believe the owner has her Masters degree but decided to do this instead because she just loves the small WP community. Their pepperoni, green chili and cream cheese pizza is simply amazing! If only we didn't live an hour and a half away we would eat here on a weekly basis. We visited Fraser/Winter Park from Denver for our anniversary and were pretty disappointed in most of the places we went to eat. On our last night, we decided to pick up a pizza and sit in bed watching Netflix so called up Elevation Pizza for a pepperoni and green chilies pizza. A nice pizza gem in Fraser After our first full day in Fraser, we had done quite a bit of hiking, and my family just wanted to sit down, order a pizza and watch TV. I found this place on Yelp, and luckily it lived up to the reviews! The V-Johnny and Greek were delicious, and my family was a big fan of the Chicken Bacon Ranch. If you put your Fraser valley hat on, this is a five star place, but if you put your city-slicker hat on it's 3.5 star. We had two pies for take-out and didn't have any complaints, but it wasn't anything that blew us away, either. It's kind of a hybrid of NY style and regular style pizza. They have a killer lunch special for $5. Two slices and a soda I believe. We wish they would deliver but alas they do not. The flavors for this pizza were phenomenal. We don't eat cheese, so we got a cheeseless pizza with extra sauce on their regular crust (and without their garlic Parmesan rub). The sauce has a little spicy kick to it, which was amazing, and the crust is crunchy on the outside but soft inside. The toppings we got were all veggie and all very delicious. Just moved here and elevation is better than any of the pizza choices in downtown Denver! The crust is so flavorful and delicious and the kalamata olives are so good on the supreme. The pizza is very good. The crust us simply amazing, you will not find a better pizza place in town. The ingredients are fresh, and I believe nothing comes from a can. I strongly recommend that you pick up the pizza instead of delivery. Usually when we get the pizza delivered it takes over an hour and is cold when it arrives. read more
