George and his daughter came over and installed the new battery themselves because he did not like leaving someone hanging with faulty equipment. He even came over again twice to fine tune the battery between other jobs. I even had to remind him to actually invoice me for his time as he had not bothered to give me a price for his labor and time (the warranty only covered the equipment cost). Any home renovation project has bumps, and this one had its fair share: after initial install they monitor the systems production remotely to see if it's doing what it's supposed to/expected to, and my system was initially under-performing. They caught it and sent out a team to problem solve it, which took a couple tries, but they didn't drag their feet, they kept on it and kept at it and got it resolved. It was no fault of theirs, just a technology glitch. Core fear was that they would give up after a couple failures and leave me following up with them to get it done, but I never had to worry about that. I also did not end up liking where they placed the control box- it was something that was going to make future maintenance of my house trim problematic down the line. They willingly moved it up a few inches for me (and my only complaint was the team that did that didn't patch the original hole as efficiently as they should have. If I had understood the box placement better on the first pass that would never have happened, so this is a bit of a complaint of my own making.) Jon Landsman, who sold me the system, stayed with us the whole time tracking the project, checking in, and following through on every detail, every question, every concern. He never made me feel like the demanding diva that I am, was always prompt and gracious! Day to day as the project proceeded, there were problems and we'd solve them. No project of this scale will proceed without a few hiccups. In retrospect I think it went very smoothly. I found 100% of the personnel to be professional, dedicated, knowledgeable, and cheerful. They did everything they said they would, at the price agreed-on, and I'm very pleased with the result.
