She starts filing down my nails. I asked her can you please cut my nails down a little bit. The women starts complaining saying omg you should have said that in the beginning now I have to shape them again. I said usually the nail techs ask shape, if you want them cut. She was speechless. My nails look horrific. My nails do not look anything like the inspo photo. I paid $165 for both nails. The amount of money I spent you'd think the nail tech would actually do their job!!! So now I have the ugliest nails and lost $165.

I am very happy to have found Victor Rd Salon. I liked the brightness and the selection of OPI colors. The staff was beyond friendly and inviting. We got some New Year's gifts on our way out including $10 off our next visit and moisturizer. I feel the pricing to be fair. Didn't quite understand the 6% cash discount as the posted price of $30 for a pedicure is what I paid in cash. No signs said that the posted price was the cash price, but it was so reasonable that I didn't mind. I'm a stickler when I see cash discounts at shops or gas stations - I just don't like it personally. But I understand why the business does it. I had cash so I paid cash. But in a world where convenience is key, blatantly asking for cash is something I find a bit tacky. Off my 'cash please' soapbox- this salon was fantastic. I will definitely be back.

Then motioned me to sit in a chair across. The owner who was also there continued to empty boxes and talked about her daughter who was home from CA so she was planning on spending time with her. I sat in the chair with no water in the basin for 15 minutes and then the owner came and filled the basin which was too hot so she had to add more cold water. I then sat with my feet soaking the entire time the other customer got their pedicure. Then the same customer went and sat to have a manicure. I am still waiting for my pedicure. The owner still pushing boxes around. A second employee came and after getting herself situated she came over and started my pedicure. The owner could have easily had done my pedicure since she did not have a client and the fact that the other customer was done with her pedicure and moving onto to the manicure. Several times during my pedi I winced from pain. I showed the girl what I was looking for as far as polish. I wanted the nail to be sparkle red with just the thinnest crescent of gold along the cuticle line. She said it would not look good. I have gotten this done every year for Xmas in California and the salon I go to does a fantastic job. Professional nails could not do it. Not only were parts of my nails still showing on the sides, she did half red half gold and parts of the red polish show through the gold. It's uneven, looks worse than if I did it myself. I just can go back it's that bad. Also a customer came in while I was almost done and told the owner she was a bit early. The owner then told her "Oh I'm so sorry I double booked and can't do your nails" This woman had an appt.

While my daughter's technician did a decent job, it took an extremely long time for mine to even come over. Once she finally started, she kept leaving repeatedly, which made the whole experience feel very disorganized and drawn out. When she did work on my feet, she scrubbed so aggressively that it was actually painful. To make matters worse, the towels they used were cold as well. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing pedicure.

Owner did my nails and took probably 10 phone calls while trying to finish my fill. FIVE people came in while he was doing my nails and they confirmed they had appointments and ended up waiting 20-30 minutes. Not cool. I told him to reshape one of the nails that was misshaped and he tried, but between phone calls and cashing people out, they didn't look good. My nails were different shape and one was glooped with acrylic and polish. Beautiful place, but owner needs to know it's okay to say No to a customer calling at the last minute. Those that had the prior appointments should not have had to wait for me.
