I don't recommend this place. I went for a fill. They cut my nails way too short and when I said something they said it was my fault. I was u aware that changing the shape made them so much shorter then I normally have them. When I said they didn't tell me that they i should know this. I don't do nails how im suppose to know . my daughter & I had pedicures today at VIP nails off Moseley rd. I had a basic pedicure, brought my own polish & my daughter had a gel pedicure using one of the salon's brands. my pedicure was absolutely perfect, thank you Mini, my daughter had a much different experience. while getting her previous gel polish off, my daughters pedicurist caused her big toe to bleed on the side of the nail which was quite painful for her. my biggest complaint with this was that not only was my daughter not offered a discount, but the young lady who did this also had no trouble accepting the $10 tip my daughter gave her. won't be returning read more

VAN did her thang!! She TOTALLY HOOKED UP my feet & nails... she gets all in the crevices and ensures the entire nail is covered with gel/dip. Thanks to Carolyn (who on I met on a plane ride to ROC) for recommending VIP. I have tried other salons shops in many states and this one by far is the best I've been to in while on travel. Such a great experience overall at VIP Nails! I stopped by today after my hair appointment unexpectedly got canceled so in order to treat myself I decided to get a gel manicure. I was in the area so came here and walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me right away. Staff was super friendly and they have the most color selection out of any other nail salon I've been to. I went with a nice lilac color in hopes of spring vibes! My first experience here was not the best unfortunately. My appointment was at 4 and I wasn't seated until 4:30. I got a simple manicure that was done in 10 minutes and was finished by someone else because my person moved on to another client. My nails have small bubbles in them and the second coat doesn't even go all the way to the bottom of my nails. I'm disappointed because these were supposed to be for my engagement photos. read more

Worst experience ever! I had a 4:45 nail appointment. I waited 15 minutes for the technician. Mike was obviously not happy about having to do my nails. Before I sat down, Mike began complaining to the owner about the booking. I had brought my own polish, base coat and top coat and they seemed to even make him more miserable. At this point I should have stood up and left, but I needed my nails cleaned up for a wedding. I told Mike to just file and clean up my cuticles, and I would polish my nails at home. Mike at this point realized I was not happy, and told me he wasn't upset with me, but was angry with the receptionist who booked the appointment. I told him he made me feel like I was the problem. He did my nails in 5 minutes and charged me $25. I will never go back to VIP nails!!! read more

They were able to get me in and redo the polish completely and he even reshaped the nails for me. Mike did a GREAT job, very detailed and precise in his work. When I made the apt I asked if they could do hombre nails. I spoke to Julie & she assured me she could. Just to be on the safe side I brought a picture. Julie not only did my nails exactly to the picture, but may have done them better. She also did a fantastic pedicure. And the prices are very reasonable. Actually less than I expected. This was my 1st apt at VIP, but definitely not my last. My husband, who could care less about nails, actually said they looked very expensive. The owner did fit my friend and I in for last minute $27 pedis on a Friday night. Whilst we were getting our feet done we didn't feel rushed at all. So that is a plus! Only thing that threw me off what was getting our heels scrubbed by what looked like a cheese grater/zester. Didn't hurt or anything, I've just never seen it before. I expressed some dissatisfaction with a nail tech and requested not to be assigned to her again. No questions asked, they accommodated my request. Every tech is friendly. Having booked an appointment in advance, I arrived and had to wait a long time. The place was overcrowded and nail techs were very far behind. Walk-ins who entered after I did were served before me. I inquired as to when I would be served and after a short while I was led to a chair to soak my feet - for another very long time.
