We traveled in later in the day and they were willing to take all three of us for pedicures and one dip powder/gel full-set. The pedicures were the best any of us had ever had. The manicure was beautiful. We each got a neck rub. We went for the green tea pedicure. Very reasonably priced as well. If I lived here, this is the only place I would go. read more

First time here and it was fabulous. My daughter treated me to a Green Tea pedicure for my birthday. It was fabulous. The spa is clean and staff is friendly. The massage was the best part of the pedicure. My feet felt amazing and smooth. I will be back read more

Excellent service, kind people and fantastic work! I would recommend Jing and her crew to anyone!

the end result of the manicure was fine but when they were cutting my cuticles, I got knicked and cut on 4 different fingers, one that bled a good amount while there and the rest were not enough to bleed but STUNG for days later. I understand 1 knicked but 4 is crazy. I've never had a more painful manicure (cause even if I was knicked all the nails were cut WAY too much) The filing also left the nails edges rough instead of smooth read more

It has taken me 11 months to write this review. I didn't want to, but I've decided it's the right thing to do. My nail tech must have somehow scrubbed the top of my foot with the cheese grater looking thing. I couldn't see any blood and didn't realize what happened, but it hurt. I said "it kind of burns", and pointed to where it burned. He just pressed on it and then acted like it was fine. I didn't realize until I got home that I had tons of teeny scrapes. Those scrapes got worse over a few weeks, and I still have some discoloration almost a year later. I don't know if this was infected from there or if this is normal healing. I'm sure I could sue them for this but I'm not trying to ruin anyone's life. I wanted to walk in and show them, but I don't like confrontation. read more

Jing is amazing, friendly and very customer service oriented. I have been a regular at her shop for going on 3 yrs. I have never had anything but attentive service and exceptional results. The location is very convenient and in our quaint village of Fairport. read more

I've gone to Crystal Nails since they opened, but I just have to say how great they are. I chipped a nail a few days after a mani and they fixed it so quickly. Everyone is kind and welcoming. a fabulous family business. read more

Very clean and sweet shop. Everyone was nice, not at all chatty, and May did a perfectly fine job with my mani/pedi. Nothing too over or underwhelming. The cost is a bit much, but they have a nice range of pedicure options. Just keep in mind that the options don't really build on each other, so if you want two services, you'll pay twice. I had never had a manicure where they didn't soak my hands in a dish of soapy water first, so that was a bit strange, but I think I like how my hands felt a bit more after this manicure. I like the couches set up in the middle of the space, but I don't understand it....but she did give me a shoulder massage when I sat down to dry my nails, so that was a nice touch. 4 stars because I don't want to lower what they have, but I'd give it 3.5 if possible. This is a good option nearby me if my normal spot is closed, but I don't know that I'd go out of my way to recommend it. read more

Second time coming here. Very unimpressed both times. They're friendly, but the work is seriously mediocre. It took them 35 minutes to get gel nail polish off my nails. No other salon has ever taken that long. Halfway through my service, the nail tech switched. Probably because it was taking so long and I looked absolutely irritated. Once the person switched, the new nail tech rushed because I told her I didn't have much time to be there. Overall, it took a full hour to just do a simple gel manicure. Weird. Also, looking at my nails now, they're SUPER dull. How she managed to make dull nails from a gel overcoat is beyond me. I won't be back here again. read more

Truly a five star nail experience. The salon was flexible when we had to change our appointment to three pedicures to just one full set and I pedicure. They have so many different pedicure options. I settled on the tea tree pedicure after consulting with the nail tech who helped me understand the differences. The tech used a timer to guide the pedicure which leads me to believe the quality service here is consistent- love it! The hot stones felt incredible on my skin. The tea tree pedicure was $45 plus $5 because I got French. My friend got her first full set for $40 plus $5 for French. They came out great! The owner of the salon (or maybe the manager?) was making rounds to make sure everyone was taken care of. I'm kind of a nail snob and this place really impressed me. I'll be back! read more

WOW! I was surprised how much I enjoyed my mani and time here! "My" nail place had forgotten to add me to their schedule and couldn't fit me in early on a Saturday morning. I Yelped to find a closeby nail salon that was open at 9:00am and Crystal Nails came up with high reviews here. My mani looked great, the gel stayed on a full 2 weeks and the back/shoulder massage was a nice touch. I'm considering heading back here in a few weeks with some girlfriends to get my mani done for my wedding!! :) read more

Will not return. My friend and I had made appts together. We got there and they began her pedicure and then mine 25 minutes later. My pedicure was rushed and should have had another coat. One person prepped my feet and then another person painted my nails. It felt very rushed and chaotic. My pedicure looks terrible. read more

I'm normally not one to complain about a service but I'm hoping this will deter at least one person from going and having as negative of an experience as I did. I was not listened to, my tech was pushy and I walked out with someone completely different than I had envisioned. After saying repeatedly that I do not like the feeling of dip, I was somehow coaxed into getting it on tips. When I asked for a long length and round shape, she told me I needed more almond and shorter. She made them pointy and short, not what I asked for. The shape ended up being uneven and crooked on every nail. I chose a dark red/brown, somehow the color came out fire engine red and she didn't bother to ask if I was okay with it. And during this process she pinched/folded my nails after one layer of dip was on. I told her it was painful, and she said she needed to pinch the tip/dip tighter to my nail. Never in my life have I had that occur, and my nails have been sore ever since. She didn't clean up my cuticles and she barely filed my nails down in the beginning. It did not end with any sort of soothing lotion or massage, she just slapped some scrub onto the back of my hands and then told me to go rinse. Literally the worst manicure experience I've ever had. I will not be going back, in fact I'll be going somewhere else to get this taken off and redone. read more

I would like to thank the staff at Crystal nails that helped my mom and I today. My mom has severe dementia and the care/patience we received is exactly why I keep going back! I went there for the first time and it was a nice experience. Sam did my nails, I had an acrylic fill done with pink and French tip. They don't use the powder and liquid, instead they do the UV acrylic dip, for the French tip he did a white gel polish. He did a good job, I paid $30. With any manicure they do a hand scrub, paraffin wax, and warm lotion, they also give you a small neck massage while your hands are in the wax. I really enjoyed that part of it and my hands are so soft! They will also clean your rings and jewelry if you have any on your hands! read more

Pedicures are good, but I got a gel manicure (and I've got a ton of these before at other spots) and two days after two of my gel nails completed peeled off, then then it continued the next couple of days. Got them done on a Wednesday and they all peeled off by Sunday. I personally will not be coming back, at least for a gel mani. read more

Starting off, I made a yelp account just so i could rave about my experience here. This week my boyfriend and I (he'll never admit he was ever there though haha) went for pedicures because he was beginning to cut me with his calluses and toenails. The salon was extremely clean and the technicians are friendly and very accommodating. The price tag for our pedicures were $35 each, an alarming price for someone as cheap as I am, but for the quality of service you're receiving I'd expect to pay double that. All around fantastic establishment and i wish the owners all the best. Plus now my boyfriends feet don't completely disgust me anymore. read more

The service is fine, but nothing amazing. Prices are good. I absolutely hate the TVs in the place, especially on a Sunday when they are playing infomercials or spectrum news on repeat, it seriously kills a relaxing vibe. I'd take soft music any day. read more

The owner is very friendly! The salon is clean and chairs are very comfy. Coco is by far our favorite technician. The more expensive the treatment the better the service. Our last visit were done by 2 newer individuals and our experience was not as good as previous. The massage was rough and shorter than normal. Also, both were annoyed that we asked to cut our nails shorter. I would recommend staying with the same technician! read more

Went here today for the first time with a friend for acrylic nail removal and gel mani. I was beyond impressed by not only the quality of service I received today but the prices as well. not the happiest, i came in today with my mom. as soon as i walked in they started rushing us into picking our colors and everything. like okay i'm glad you got into it, but you could've at least gave me time to pick out a color! next, they couldn't find the color my mom wanted and gave her a completely different color. she wanted pink, they gave her purple. they had no patience whatsoever and rushed it. my moms fingers are RED. i mean RED, the lady buffed everything but her fingernail because she has gotten dip powder all over her finger. when the lady was filing with her fool. she filed my FINGER- and then it had burned so bad. i came home and had realised my pinky fingers skin (cuticle area) was bleeding. my moms fingers are still red, and the nail tech cut herself and bled all over my moms hands... gross!! i don't recombined coming here unless u don't mind getting inflamed and bloody fingers. nails came out ok, not really the shape or color i was going for (same with my mom) but i had no time to pick because of how rushed i was. please take my words into consideration when looking for a nail salon, this one is not it.(edit) it's been a couple of days, i've notified that some nails don't even cover the edges of my fingers and they're already starting to chip. read more

Made an appointment to be sure to get a mani/pedi in time for an important event. Still sitting 30 minutes past the appointment time. Nail tech said I had the wrong time. I didn't and she lied. I hate unethical people. If she would've said sorry we are running late I would've stayed and more then likely gave them a good review. Don't lie! read more

Monday I went and got a full set of acrylics. I was fascinated by how many colors they had and very impressed. Right once I was seated down for my nails to dry, I didn't know my chair was being pulled out for me and I smudged the slightest bit on the corner of my nail. My fault I know. I asked them politely to just touch it up for me and once they did, all the wet polish completely smudged under where they touched it up and they just left it like that. A day after I started noticing a bunch of bubbles under all my nails. I'm very unimpressed with how they looked and that even after I paid and tipped nicely they didn't care how my nail looked and left it smudged. Don't recommend. P.s couldn't get any better pics of the bad quality read more

Awful. The person who did my nails couldn't stop looking at his phone. Seriously...he would paint a nail then play his phone game for a sec [repeat]. There were bubbles in the polish too, so it started chipping within hours. Oh...and he open-mouth coughed in my face a few times. read more

One of the newer places, nice, clean. Big comfy waiting area& they give good massages at the end!!

Lovely Salon.. Clean.. Great nail color choices, and a wonderful hand, shoulder and neck massage after nails are done.

They are so rude. Walked in and there were 4-5 workers on their phone not one customer, I see why! I asked for a fill and should've left after the guy responded. He was so rude! Then another customer came in and waiting for someone else to show up while the other workers were sitting on their phones. She wanted coffin shape on a new set and the lady cut it and shaped it then said that's extra money they the girl didn't want to pay so she said I just want square well the nail tech was mad because she had to start over when she should've gave her the price to begin with. I will not return to be treated so awful and you shouldn't either! I was just desperate to get them done today that was the only reason I stayed and dealt with it. read more

Best experience I've had in quite some time. My daughter and I went in together for a gel mani and pedi. I called 2 days before and they were able to accommodate both the day & time, as well as being able to see us together. They also take walk-ins and had some who waited less than 5 minutes. When we arrived we were taken right to a chair after choosing our colors. The new massage chairs were quite nice. The salon is bright, open, and inviting. The parking is more than adequate. We were offered beverages on several occasions (without asking too much). With several different options for types of pedicures, the prices varied from $25 to 50. The technicians were personable and very proficient. The hot stones added a nice touch. The type of pedicure my daughter chose took a little more time than mine was going to. As a result, one of the young women started on her manicure before we finished our pedicure. It was considerate forethought allowing us to finish everything at almost the same time. We both chose gel manicures and they were excellent. Again, different services for different prices and the gels were $30. I hit a nail just before we were done and Charlie very capably fixed it without having to do the nail over. While waiting for my nails to dry, a 5 min neck and shoulder massage is offered. It was professional and well done. This was in addition to the hand massage done at the end. Every manicure is also ended with a paraffin treatment. So much offered for a very reasonable price. Our gel manicures were $30 each with all the extras included. The gels didn't crack, peel, nor flake for almost 2 weeks and my pedi is still going strong! For me the only drawback is the language barrier. I don't have a problem with the language, it is more the lack of English. I believe in being able to communicate with your clients and miscommunication can often lead to negative interactions. Some of the staff was very proficient and some weren't. However, such a wonderful experience isn't brought down this. I will be returning and am thrilled to find my new regular place. read more
