It has such an amazing family feel, and the women there are all such beautiful souls! I've been in a number of times for my mani-pedi, and they always make sure to take such good care of me. For the past 18 years my wife Reenie has enjoyed going to Salon Enza. From short hair bobs to Long waist length hair to natural looking highlights and color to her now natural and trendy beautiful gray hair of today. Most importantly, seven years ago Laura told my wife that her hair did not look right and she may have a female problem. Reenie went to the doctor and had breast cancer. I feel Laura saved her life. Laura said that her stylists are trained to be aware of changes in a person's hair and scalp and advise the client accordingly. Thank you! The salon is friendly and all the stylists are professional and personable. We went there for prom updos and the wedding party for our daughter. It's just a great place. Fantastic! Had full color and a cut from Amalia and french nails and a pedicure from Mary. The salon is gorgeous, everyone was super friendly, and I enjoyed the morning very much. Everyone has commented on how natural the color was that I chose, and remarked on how well the shade suits me. I wish they had sold the particular nail polish I chose for my toes. The pricing was excellent, especially compared to where I'm from. My hair was just under $80 before tip, and a similar appointment in SF would have run close to $150. I found the pedicure to be more expensive than I expected ($45) but the treatment was really wonderful, I think the nails were $25. read more

If you want your hair done well, ask for Rachel. I have been seeing her for years now. I've gone in with a specific idea of what I want, and I've gone in with a general idea. Each time, Rachel listened to me, offered suggestions and explanations of what she thought would work, and consulted with me along the way. Each time I leave feeling like the best version of myself. I have a friend who never goes to the same hair stylist twice. She goes to Rachel now repeatedly. I cannot recommend her enough. read more

I have been going here since it opened and I absolutely love it! Every time I go they exceed my expectations. I normally get a wash, cut, highlights and blow dry, which costs about $140.00 including the tip. This may seem expensive, but I am here to tell you it is SO worth it. The cut and highlights hold up really well and I always get compliments, which, let's face it, is half the reason we go, right? I have gotten more classic looks (such as layers and a simple bob) as well as trendier cuts (angled bob) and my stylist does them all perfectly. I moved to North Carolina two years ago and, when I plan my trips home, I make sure to schedule an appointment when I'm there. An appointment with them is very relaxing. They offer a complimentary glass of coffee, tea, water or wine-which makes the experience of getting your hair done all the more decadent. They are not pushy at all with the products, but do offer recommendations, which I have sometimes taken. They also sell interesting, handmade jewelry which I have purchased. In addition to the hair related services, they also offer massages, facials, nails and waxing. I have had my brows done, gotten an updo and had both manis and pedis. All were great! I took my Mom there for mother/daughter pedicures for Mother's Day last year and she loved it. My Dad gets her gift cards for various services every year for Christmas/Mother's Day/ect and they are always a big hit. The quality of the service/experience is reflected in the costs, and is truly well worth it. I see Enza, the owner, almost always, but when I have tried someone else, I have been equally satisfied. This place is quite pricey. It is for the moderately rich and famous. I received a haircut here. I was happy with the result but I wish they posted the prices on a wall. I almost had a heart attack when I checked out.$$$$ read more

Finally I can be done with this dump. The wonderful woman who does my pedicures and facials opened her own salon and has left Enza. Enza is disgusting. The carpets are stained and filthy, the floors have broken tiles. It's a a mess. I stopped dealing with the front deck staff because they can't make an appointment in under 10 minutes. Stay away from this place. There are many great salons in the area. read more

I came here needing to dye my hair back to my natural hair color because my hair was perviously damaged from other salons from over processing. Shannon, was very knowledgable and did exactly what I wanted. She gave me great advice to take better care of my hair. Once the dying process was over my hair came out a beautiful color, healthy looking, also had a beautiful shine to it. I went back to receive another dye about 2 months later and a cut with it. I started going to Salon Enza when Lori joined their team (I knew her from another salon). Over the years, we've gone from super short hair to medium length. She always knows what she's doing and does it extrememly well. Not to mention she's a wonderful person. Lori introduced me to Jaime for manicures and to say that she's all over it is putting it mildly. Very professional and excellent! I was referred to Mary Z. for esthetician servies and can't same enough about her skills. Everyone at Salon Enza is friendly and very highly skilled. I always feel taken care of and the prices definitely reflect the skills of each person without going over the top. Only have had acrylic nails and pedi done there. Availability not as accessible for established staff. The new staff not as experienced. Had a fill done yesterday that I had to have redone somewhere else today. Within 24 hours one nail chipped and three nails were lifting because they were too close to the cuticle and too thick. Called the salon to express the concern and was not even asked to come to have the problem fixed. The three times I've visited the salon only one friendly staff member greeted me and even bought me a glass of wine up stairs. The nail techs I've had were nice, appearance of the salon was okay just a little dark and "homely" looking. Overall not a bad place for the older generation. If your looking for friendly welcoming place this definitely isn't it. Not every nail tech uses gel polish, all three times I've gone and asked for French tips with polish and all three times have been deterred from it. If you visit hope your experience is better than mine, if you are considering keep looking. I do not plan on returning or recommending. read more
