This was absolutely the worst experience I think I've ever had at a salon. I came to have my hair…read moretouched up for my bridal shower and left with a patchy mess and 5 inches cut off after I asked several times to keep as much length as possible. Marin became overwhelmed when she realized how patchy the bleach was at the root, and without communicating at all, slapped a brown dye over my roots, which just obviously added to the lack of blending into the blonde highlights. From there she tried to send me on my way without even finishing the blunt cut she started. After I asked what was happening, she sent Joe over who told me he didn't see the problem and it was just the light. After hearing how my hip length hair was suddenly to my shoulders, he offered to fix the color, which I accepted as long as he did it and not the inexperienced stylist. I showed up to my 5:30 appointment time and sat waiting for 30 minutes while he walked around, chatted with staff, and decided to teach a lesson on curl technique. When I stood up to leave, as I had an appointment after that was clearly stated to them when booking, and reassured would be fine, he had the audacity to look me in the face and say "weren't we only supposed to start 15 minutes ago? They must have booked you wrong". This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had, I would NEVER recommend this salon to ANYONE. I had been a happy client here for years, and clearly it's because I had never met the owner. I'm now left with a hack job haircut and patchy hair one week before my shower and 90 days from my wedding. Please do not ever consider this salon. An unprofessional leader creates unprofessional staff, and clearly this place is going downhill fast. I would recommend reading other 1 star reviews where rather than taking accountability for the "professional services" they screwed up for others, they leave a 5 page paragraph telling the reviewer to basically F off. Poor management, poor customer service while touting a professional experience, and a lack of accountability for services they can't actually provide. Only go here if you're willing to hate how you look and feel afterward.

I went to this one hairdresser for years and i really did used to like her as a person however this…read moremost recent experience was very disappointing to say the least. I asked for tape in extensions with ombre. I had discussed pictures and gave ideas/instructions on what i wanted. I gave the extensions to the hairdresser to highlight prior to my appointment. However when i saw the extensions I was hesitant and nervous because it was not what we had discussed. When i tried to voice my concerns to the stylist she became defensive and upset. She stated she would charge me because I changed my mind when i did not change anything i just wanted what i had actually asked for. She continued to tell me it would look good after it was done and curled. I was visibly upset and she asked me how me crying makes her feel. I continued to press on and try not to upset her more. In the other room I could hear her talking about me to the another stylist and so i tried to cheer up to keep the peace. She added the tape ins only to the side of my head and none in the back because she said that we didn't have enough although she didnt plan out where she was gonna place them place them prior to tapping them in. . She stated it looked fine in the back and i didnt need then in be back. Then she gave me a lob because that was the only way it did not look as awkward. Which i never said i wanted. I left still feeling uneasy after she finished but i did thank and pay her with a tip. But inside i was not extremely impressed. When i expressed concerns the next day she said that this is not on her and she would move my extensions for $150 and give me $50 off because i was tight in money (which I never stated i was). She then refused to fix anything and told me to find a new stylist. I then got ahold of the owner who listened but basically told me i changed my mind and she was told me to find a new salon and she is not there is no manger at the salon so there is nothing she could do. Basically i spent over $500 not including tip or the cost of the extensions and i am left with more work of taking my extensions out myself and redoing them and my hair and needing to consult another stylist. i feel like from this i just got added more work and more money for basically nothing. I received no refund or apology from the hairdresser or own even though i took some responsibility and accountability and i apologized that maybe i was unclear what i wanted. The hairdresser got a nice chuck of money and almost damaged my hair with the placement. I would not recommend this salon or stylist based on customer service and professionalism.

Fast forward & my latest experience really has me bummed out. I couldn't get in b/c getting an appt. is very difficult w/ the schedule lately & especially if you prefer your normal stylist. I felt comfortable enough to try someone new & trusted that I would be just as pleased. No offense b/c this person is super kind/nice & nothing personal, but, I surely wish that the professionals would have walked me through a bit more w/ how my grays would react adversely to the bleach highlights. My hair is soo super dry now & my nice & normally long layers are super choppy & unruly & are driving me nuts. I loved that Tessa was so conservative w/ her charging me & she's always charged me the very same amount. It's been nice for sure. I was charged much more (I respect the fact that most likely due to the dumb highlights I thought I would be pleased w/), but, still NOT happy that I spent so much to now be so unhappy & stuck w/ a dried head of choppy layers that aren't falling smooth & as sweet as they used to. Again, yes, fussy, but, when we go to a salon & especially one we've gone to many, many times b4 I would surely hope to be happy enough w/ the hairstyle/services at least until the next time. Not so. I'm bummed.:((((( ***Update*** Not quite sure how to update, but had to b/c let me tell you Tammy the owner is the bomb. She's amazing & quickly got back to me.
